Sunday 4/24, Woke up and got ready and went to Volunteer Park and just walked around forever and walked around the surrounding neighborhood too and looked at all of the beautiful houses and we both named plants that we knew when we passed them…it was cute. We saw this guy wearing a shiny white speedo tanning and listening to his radio, and another guy doing all of these weird kicks and yoga moves. Funny. We left to go pick up Seth so he could get his Akira books from B’s house. Then we left and went to my house so I could get a change of clothes for the Killers show, then went to Mom’s and helped her get ready for Passover. What an ordeal. I didn’t know it took so long with all of that reading out of the little book…I was getting nervous that we wouldn’t even get to eat before it would be time for me to leave, but luckily Theresa kept things moving and we got through it quicker. Dinner was very good, and dessert was even better cause Kassie made her chocolate/oatmeal/coconut/peanut butter bars. Sooo good. Theresa thinks Brandon is very cute and everyone was very interested in how we met, asking many questions…they all thought it was pretty cute. So we left at 7:30 and I dropped B off at his house, oooh, I almost forgot, he bought me an orchid…so cute and sweet, awww. Ok, feel free to throw up now. Anyway, so then I went to Missy’s but on the way listened to my voicemail and Dad is coming up here this weekend, very exciting, but should be interesting cause Mike McCarthy is getting married so Brad sent me a message on myspace and he’s going to be up here, and I’m guessing some of the other EN boys will be as well. I think Kristel needs to make out with Tyler, and if he’s not here, she can make out with Brad…he did lick her boob at Andy’s wedding after all. So I got to Missy’s and changed, then we left for the show and parked pretty close, but this large “militant” white woman was giving Missy a look so we tried to steer clear. Got into the Moore, and got upstairs and the girl is like “sit anywhere” fucking weird, so we sat way up at the top and it was soooo hot. Their vocals kind of sucked, but Brandon Flowers is hot, so it’s ok. They didn’t play the one song I really wanted them to play but it was still a decent show. Drove Missy home, and then I went home and roomie wasn’t there and I went to bed.
Saturday 4/23, Got up early and left B’s to go to Mom’s for our day of shopping. Took a shower and waited for Kassie to show up, then left. Went to U-Village and went to Mercer, but everything was too expensive so we went to Anthropologie and tried a bunch of shit on, but only got one shirt, which looked better on me in white, but Mom and Kassie talked me into getting the blue. Then we went to lunch at some Italian-type restaurant. Went to Chico’s so Mom could buy some clothes and she ended up spending like $850 on clothes. She was freaking out, but come on, she NEVER buys clothes so we told her it was fine. Then we went to Nine West and she bought me some little black flats. Then we left and went home. I took off from there to get ready for Michelle’s surprise party. Went home, showered and did my hair. Got the directions to Michelle’s from the invite, even though I’ve been there like 3 times, it’s been a while and I was afraid I would get lost. After following the directions, I was totally lost, they totally fucked up and put me deep in some maze of a neighborhood and Kristel wasn’t answering her cell to rescue me, so I attempted to make my way back out and did, and then got back on the road and tried to find it on my own…and I did! I was so proud of myself, and I was the first one there so I just chatted with Michelle’s parents and sister. Kristel got there and we just laughed and talked, then we had dinner and Kristel was doing some very helpful demonstrations with her hotdog to show me how I should “please” Brandon. It was soo funny…and we were making inappropriate jokes about Michelle’s cute 23 year old brother and cousin. Kristel, Nicole and I went to the store to get some Imodiam which was pretty funny, and I made a joke about Kristel's music, and she almost made me get out and walk home. It was a fun party and Michelle and I talked about Scott Peterson and I’m even more creeped out than I was before…weird. So I left there and went home to pack a bag to go to B’s, so I did that and drove over, we pretty much made out and went to bed, with some talking too…my issues with sex, penises, etc.
Friday 4/22, After work I went home and showered and got ready for dinner at Mom’s for Kassie’s birthday. I was the first to get there and Mom wanted sign the card I got Kassie, but Dad didn’t cause he didn’t think it was funny. Scooter the squirrel would give his left nut to make sure you have a good birthday, or something like that…that Scooter, he was so cute (I gave the same one to Missy…maybe I’m the only one who really thinks it’s that funny…don’t know). So then Kassie and Zack show up and we’re all just hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa talking and eating. Then Chelsea got there and I helped her decorate a little. Brandon called me and I told him that it was going to be a little later than I had anticipated cause we got a late start on dinner. Dinner was really good (like 5 courses) with all of the kids sitting at one end of the table, but the dogs kept peeing on the deck by Kassie’s chair…we all just laughed and had a good time. Then Dad wanted everyone at the table to guess when Kassie would have her first baby…so I guessed Sep 1, 2011 I think cause she’ll be 29 at that time…so, yeah, that was weird, Dad was like, “I’m going to put it into the computer” um…ok. Then we had dessert which was good, but I didn’t want to eat too much of anything cause my shirt shows my stomach and I didn’t want it to be all big for Missy’s party. So I left there and went to B’s and picked him up. We went to Missy’s where she didn’t know there was going to be a party, but Erick pulled it off. So we hung out there for a while and I talked to Katie and Erin a little bit, Missy busted out her old Jem doll with swivley hips and red flashing earrings. Saw Randy but didn’t say anything to him…would rather not deal with the drama, but at least he didn’t throw a temper tantrum this time. So we left and went back to B’s house. Then one of his friends called, Jason or Rick I think, and said they were at the College Inn and wanted to know if we were going to come down, so we did. Seth was there too, and Rick’s girlfriend who apparently no one really likes. Then Sameer came and he hung out at our table, he seems pretty nice…and funny too. Hung out there a while, then Rick and his woman left, the boys kept ordering pitchers of beer so B told me I would probably have to drive his car home. We left around…um…midnight maybe…I really have no idea, we were there for a while. I drove his car back. We made out for a little bit then went to sleep.
I took my film in to get developed this morning so I have to do my grocery shopping after work today and then I’m going to go pick it up. Busy fucking weekend, I just want to go home and relax and go to bed early tonight.
