Thursday 4/14, Called Julien when I got home and we talked for a good hour or so...craziest thing ever, I asked him what he does, and he was like "you mean how I make my money?" yeah, that. So he's like I work at a restaurant called Campane, and I was like, HOLY SHIT, you were totally my waiter when I went there with my aunt and uncle before Christmas, how fucking crazy is that?? Crazy. We talked about a lot of random stuff...I'm bummed he's moving, but I'm stoked that he found Beth and that they're going to be together and try to make it work...we're going to try to get together next week for dinner or something, so I'm looking forward to that. Anyway, I can't write everything we talked about cause it would take forever, but it was just nice to have a conversation with someone new...I guess it's just nice to have someone want to hear you talk about yourself...plus he's a cool guy and has a lot of interesting things to say, and is always entertaining. Then I read a little bit of my book and went to bed.
Susan is sick so I probably won't go over to her house, but will relay this crazy story to her via telephone. Maybe I'll go over to Mom's later and work out...but I don't know if that will actually happen...we'll see...
Wednesday 4/13, Went to B's house yesterday after work, and it took me an hour to get there (it only took me exactly 20 minutes to get home...yeah, I know, it took fricken forever!). When I got there we just stood around and talked/kissed/hugged, and neither of us were ready for dinner yet so we just laid on his bed and talked about random stuff like tolls on 520 and him putting his fingers in my eye...funny. Anyway, so when we were hungry, he started making dinner: ravioli with garlic-y marinara sauce and then toasted baguette with fresh mozerella, tomato and basil...it was all very good and I was very impressed with his culinary skills. I helped cut the tomatos and the bread, but apparently I don't know how to hold a knife or cut things, but I got a lesson so it all worked out. After that we laid around until about 10:00 then I went home...
We're going to have dinner with Zach and Nicole on Saturday...that "double date of sorts" so we'll see how that goes...
