Friday 6/24, So Susan and I were planning on going to Craig's show on Friday, so after work I went home and painted painted painted and finished up my bathroom which felt good cause all of my closet was strewn about my room, and it wasn't pretty...so I got that done, then I took a shower and washed my hair for the big event. Cause come on, it was going to be the first time I've seen Craig in like months and I don't want to look like a dowdy housewife. Ok, what does dowdy even mean? I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that's not how I want to look when I see a former crush. So I got ready and picked up Susan at her place and we headed down to Ballard...too bad we got lost as soon as we got down there cause I thought I was somewhere else, but I wasn't, so I called Missy and she guided us to where we were supposed to be...Mars Hill/Paradox...which Susan didn't really believe was a church but once we got down there she was like "Are you kidding?! It's really in a fucking church?!!" Oh it was hilarious. So we see Craig out front as we drive by and park around the back. We're walking to the front and Susan catches Craig's eye and we start chatting but he tells us that they don't go on until 10:30 instead of 9:30, then some guy told Susan she looked 26 and she was happy, then Craig was blabbing loudly that Susan was married and Craig was versing us in wisdom and deep observations about age and marriage...also how he likes really young girls even though he's pushing 30. Susan and I both had to bite our tongues. HILARIOUS. Then Missy left me a funny voicemail about white shoe polish and young boys. So we left and I took Susan home cause we were both tired and didn't want to wait around, then I went to B's and him and the boys were downstairs drinking and trying to figure out how to make the basement more like a ship...or something...so I went upstairs and read magazines in bed. We went to bed not too much later.

Saturday 6/25, We woke up and B ate a bunch of crepes that Chrystol was making, then we left to go to Kassie's for a massage for B, and when we got there Kassie showed us a whole bunch of pictures that she had taken and look really good. Then she gave him an extra long massage cause his back's all fucked up, and we hung out for a little while and talked...a lot about how Mildred is a bitch, but anyway, then Kassie told him he can't help anyone move that day and especially not her. Then we left and went back to his house and were going to go garage sale-ing with Sky and Chrystol cause it was her birthday, but we had to get B's stuff from his other place, so we went and did that and then got back and I went home for Salsa clothing cause that's what Chrystol wanted to do for her birthday, and I got back to his house and dinner was ready but B had to wake me up cause I fell asleep, so we ate and I met Mara, Jared and Dusty, all very nice. We all got ready and headed out. B parked so far away we had to walk like 8 blocks up to the Century Ballroom and my feet were killing me by the time we got there. The lesson was half over by the time we got there and then the dancing started. B never asked me to dance so I didn't, though Chrystol got him out there and we were just watching all of these people, some very good, others were very very bad, most notably the Hooters shirt guy, and the blonde fake boob girl, bad bad bad. I liked the librarian lady the best, not slutty and very good dancer...B likes the librarian look apparently. Then we decided to go home cause his back was hurting, and after he had fallen asleep Mildred called and wanted him to go out and meet up with her, but he told her no, and then she said "I think your lady friend hates my guts" and he said "uh-huh" so he told me that after he got off the phone, and I said I wondered if Kassie sent her some hate mail cause we had been talking about it earlier in the day, but she didn't. Then she sent a text message that said sorry. Ha. I got a lot of satisfaction out of that...but I probably shouldn't, cause if the whole thing really didn't bother me, I should be indifferent to anything she says or does right?
