So back to Alishia's birthday

Wedneday 6/1, So we land and Dad picks us up and we go back to the house and Dad has to take Aubs to the dentist to have her braces off, so he leaves us and we shower and stuff and then we take the Grand Prix to downtown Carlsbad to cruise. So we go to Spin and look around for a while and Kassie gets some stuff, then Mom was supposed to call us for lunch but she didn't and we were getting hungry so we decided to find a little place outside to eat so we could enjoy the beautiful weather. So we went to the News Cafe or something and ordered 3 plates of food and the girl behind Kassie was looking at our meal(s) in disgust...but we polished off most of it, and left the friendly waitress with a hefty tip so she can be on her way to buying one of the pricey bags Kassie has and that she was admiring. She gave us the lowdown on the shops, so after lunch we went on a walk and called Lish to find out what to get her, so I concocted an elaborate story about 24 and then hung up and Kassie and I shopped. We walked back up to the "Lunch Dinner" which we later found out is actually called Cafe Alysa, so we stopped there for some pastries, I got Pain au Chocolat and Kassie got a Cinnamon Crisp...mmmm. So then we try to go to Costco to find a b-day present, but they didn't have the stuff, so we drove out to Best Buy and Kassie bought me my birthday presents from last year and for this year, Bloc Party and Bravery, and Sex and the City Season One for her and then to the party store but we had to pick Aubs up by 3:00 and then our nail appt was at 3:30 to surprise Lish...so we raced back to I could change shoes then picked up Aubrie (sans braces!!) who had left a desperate message on the answering machine for a Coke and headed to the nail place. When we pulled up Alishia was sitting in her car and we parked directly behind her and saw her get out and we ducked down and then on the count of three we all went screaming and yelling at her and surprised her, then went in and got our nails done...very nice, never had a pedicure but it was fun and the one lady knew our life stories or something...Kassie got a flower on her toe and we were laughing pretty hard. Then we went to the mall to kill time before dinner at 6:00, and I bought a shirt. Then to Olive Garden and our waitress was a bitch and knew Aubs wasn't under 10 cause of her "big girl" nails. It took Mom forever to get there but we talked and there was a cute waiter for Lish, then she got there and we ate and left. I rode with Alishia home and we just kind of hung out here after we all got back...went to bed at like 9:30.

Thursday 6/2, Woke up and went for a long walk around the neighborhoods, wore Dad's "FLEX" sweatshirt and came back and woke Kassie up. I showered and washed hair and then we were on our way. Dad left the Vette so we took that down to our little bakery for breakfast. I got a Dark and White Ghiradelli Hot Chocolate and Apple Turnover then we went to Eagle Creek to say hi to Dad and Lish and for me to get a new purse. So we go there and on the way see this guy in a BMW SUV smoking and Kassie was like "Ugh, you're nasty cigarette is getting in my car" so I dissed him and rolled up my window. We finally make it to Dad's and say hi and he introduces us to everyone and we go down to Clive and when we're on our way back upstairs, we totally see the BMW guy, cause I would remember those chin pubes anywhere. So then David laughs at me, we go upstairs to look for bags and then start to leave...then Kassie calls Dad out on some stuff with David in cahoots and we were all just cracking up. So then we left with our mapquest directions to Fashion Valley and race down there...we hit the big players, Saks, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and checked out the $10,000 couture and bling...crazy...So-Cal has the craziest stuff I've ever seen...but anyway, that's off topic...so we eat at a little French Cafe and Kassie picks up a shirt for our pictures, but I don't buy anything cause I didn't really need a D&G shirt for $4,500, call me crazy. So we cruise back up with many admirers (one kiss face from an Acura, two smiles from really cute guy in Mustang) on the way...we go home to decompress but then leave not more than an hour later to have dinner with Mom and Dad by Mom's new center...so we see that, very cool, and then eat pizza at this place and find out pictures are the next day...and Kassie flicked a wrapper at Dad but missed and it skipped across the pizza the people next to us were enjoying. So we left to go to our bakery again for dessert and I got a strawberry tart and we listened to the bunch of guys playing their guitars by the fire pit...very nice. Went home and went to bed early again I think...

I'm tired I'm going to bed, but I will catch up I promise. Three days behind and counting...
