Monday 7/25, after work Susan called and wanted to hang out, so I went over to her house and we gossiped there for a bit then went to the mall for some food…went to Pallino Pastaria and though I like the décor and such, the food wasn’t great, but I would give it another chance if necessary. Then to work off some calories we walked over to Barnes and Noble but I got a cookie so I added more calories on than I took off. We looked at mags and other books, and then we tried to find some kids books but weren’t having a very easy time, so finally we left the kids section and found all of the books we were looking for in the adult section, sitting on a table, so Susan showed me the tattoo she wants and it’s cute, then we walked back over to the mall and over to Nordstrom’s to check out cute guys who work in the shoe department. I found some new Reef slippers I want and Susan said “How Gwen Stefani of you” then I didn’t like them as much. After that we went back to her house and then I went home I think and it was pretty late, like 10 or so so I called B and went to bed.
Sunday 7/24, Woke up and Kassie had to take off right away, though not before she got a piece of Dad’s French Toast. Then B and I got ready and packed up and I went and got some of my rocks from down by the river and lined them up under the bench, then we took off and said bye to Mom, Dad, Aubs and Kimmy cause they were getting ready to leave too. Drove back without incident and got to my house. We decided to go get something to eat, so we got sandwiches, and then we went and saw Wedding Crashers and both really liked that…I love Owen, he’s funnier than Luke. After that we went back to my house I believe and just hung out and went to bed, I think…
Saturday 7/23, the Andersons and Rose were planning their leave. We had the “big breakfast” complete with eggs, ham, blueberry muffins and potatoes. Yum. Then Hailey and Rose left, then a little while after Heidi and Brad left so then it was just the fam left. B and I went down to the river for a good part of the morning/early afternoon and though we put sunblock on, he burned kind of badly on his shoulder (only the right) and his feet. Brandon took the tube down, but we mostly just talked and put our feet in, found pretty rocks for the new outdoor shower. Then we went up and did something, but I can’t remember…Kassie and the girls went into town to check out the deal with Auntie Lauryn’s house, so it was a pretty quiet morning. I think B and I went upstairs and laid down for a little while, but then Dad wanted to go down to the river so we all went down again and B continued on his rock pile and Dad and I hung out and talked, then Mom came down so we all just relaxed down there and then the girls got back and gave the good news that AL’s house had been saved…but for $1.6 million…ouch. So John and his family are going to move in and then we’ll see what happens after she gets out. Then the girls came down in their swimsuits and everyone was playing and hanging out. Mom and Dad left to go get ready for dinner and told us to come into town about an hour later and they would get a table for us at Gustav’s. So B and I headed up to start getting ready and shower off then the girls came up and after we were all ready we headed in in Kassie’s car. Got there and found Mom and Dad and had a nice dinner. After dinner we went on a hunt for ice cream but Kassie is the only one who got any, then we found an old timer picture place so we’ll have to do that one at some point. Finally we headed home and hung out on the trampoline and compared different cheers while B just laughed and was entertained by us. Then we went to go play Scattegories in the loft, did that for a while, though I fell asleep a little bit, then they went out to go sit by the fire with Mom, but they’d already gone to bed…so that’s what we did too. Just kind of went to bed, though it was only 10:30 or so.
