Tuesday 8/23, Hung out for the evening. Today I’ve got big plans though…we’ll see how they turn out…

Monday 8/22 Did some grocery shopping after work and hung out for the evening.

Sunday 8/21, I woke up a bit late cause I had to go home and get ready for Chelsea’s wedding, so at about 10:30 or so, I dashed out of B’s and went home, showered, managed to get my black dress on and head out the door to Mom’s. Hitched a ride with them and we got to the wedding about 15 or 30 minutes early. It was such a beautiful setting and there were a ton of people there all dressed to the nines (is that the expression?). I was in tears throughout the entire ceremony, along with everyone else, and it was the perfect day for an outdoor event. It was sunny, but not too hot and there was a nice breeze, it was just gorgeous. So then Alisha Secor from middle school came up to me but I totally didn’t recognize her until she told me who she was, but it was so great cause then we talked for like two and a half hours. It’s interesting because I felt like I could talk to her or tell her about anything cause we go so far back, but really, I don’t know her anymore and she’s more like a stranger than an “old friend”. I would never talk like that to someone else I had just “met” at a wedding, but since we go back to middle school I had no problem chatting with her about anything. It was really great and interesting. And I figured out that it WAS Robby Laurant that I saw at Sephora that one time with Susan, I just knew it. So we talked for a little bit, and can I just say, the boy is Fine. That’s right, with a capital F. Whew. Not too much more, got dragged onto the dance floor by some guy I recognized but had no idea who he was. Finally we left at about 7:30 for the drive home, and there was traffic all the way through Everett, and I had to pee soo bad. By the time we got home I was in bad shape. Called B and told him I was on my way so he met me at my house and we had a discussion that ended ok, not great, not terrible, but ok.

Saturday 8/20, we woke up and romped a little, then left by about 11 or 12 or something for his house. Ate some food there then decided to go try to find him some “new clothes” so we hit Value Village but came up empty then to the store to get a snack then eventually found our way down by Safeco and at some army surplus store where he picked up some new shorts then we went down to Pioneer Square to walk around and we stopped at this Paper Cat store where I got a bunch of stuff, mostly for Auntie Lauryn. Then we went to the U-District to Barnes and Noble cause he wanted to read magazines, but I didn’t really want to so I wandered around and looked in the shops where I knew I couldn’t buy anything cause I’m on a budget, even though I wanted that jewel encrusted turtle from Fireworks for my patio area. Later we were going to see a movie at 9:00 so we went and had some dinner beforehand at the little Japanese place where we had our first “date” then we went to this little park and played on the toys though I had to keep B in line in front of the other kids cause he’s not a very good example. We then headed to the movie at the Crest and it was a great movie (Happy Endings) and I would love to see it again, and will definitely be buying it when it comes out on DVD. It was late by the time we got back to his house so we just crashed.
