I love the weekend

Sunday 9/25, We got up and went to the little store and when we got back ate a huge breakfast that Day and Jack had made (waffles, fruit, eggs, bacon and sausage) and I was full all day from that. After breakfast we went outside and Jess did her yoga while I laid on the end of the dock and read my magazines and rested. The neighbors were blasting some really awful music and Jess and I just shook our heads. The next neighbor down however was kind of into it and then Jessica later made fun of him for having his shirt off and walking on everyone else’s docks. He waved at one point so I gave a little wave back. Brad and his friends went out on their boat, and then the farther down neighbor gets in his boat and comes over to Jess’ dock and asks if we want to go over to do something and a very unusual Jessica was like, no I don’t think so, but I said yes so we went. His name was Kyle and he had a very nice boat that went very fast. It was pretty hot. Jess sat up front with him while I sat in back and we ended up just parking and talking for a while then he showed us a whole bunch of nice houses and gave us dirt on the people who lived in them. There was one particularly interesting story about a guy, his compound and Freedom County. We then headed back and he dropped us at the doc. Not too much later Jess wanted to go water skiing so we boarded the boat but Jess didn’t want to do it right in front of her place cause she didn’t want people watching (the new Jess apparently) but her mom insisted so the coast was clear, but then as soon as she jumped in the water all the neighbors came out. She didn’t make it up on the first try but did on the second, so we went around one time and then came back in and Jess swam a little bit, then as I was sitting on the dock Kyle yelled over and asked if she wanted to try wakeboarding and she did so I took her necklace, went to go look at Kyle’s mysterious turtle but missed it, ran back to the house to drop off the necklace and then came back to board the boat. Jess got up on the first try and a few other times too but couldn’t stay up for very long, and she was tired so we went back. Kyle walked me across Brad’s beach and then went home. Jess got in the shower and then her mom was going to go water skiing but couldn’t get up. After that I decided it was time to go home cause it was 3:00 so I left. Went to B’s and hung there for the afternoon and had dinner there then went home to watch Desperate Housewives with Susan and B came over then we went to bed.

Saturday 9/24, I was up and out the door by 10:40 up to Jessica’s Mom’s house. I stopped at the store on the way and got a donut and some flowers. When I got there I hopped on the boat right away cause Jess was going to do some water skiing and Day had a friend up who had already taken her turn. We cruised back after not too long and decided to lay in the sun, which we proceeded to do for the duration of the day. We did eat a bunch of food that her mom had in the fridge, including some chocolate cheesecake. We just chatted and tanned and I totally got some color, and I have the tan lines to prove it. Finally at 5:30 or so we took a walk down to the park and talked some more and watched all of the ducks that were on double dates then walked back because we were getting hungry for our Alfy’s pizza. Jack showed us his rig, and Jess’ Grandma was there, so we settled in to watch a movie and eat our dinner. We watched Phantom of the Opera and I ate waaay too much Hawaiian pizza. After the movie we laid in bed and read magazines.

Friday 9/23, I went home after work to relax cause I was tired from the night before so I watched the OC in bed and ate some dinner by the time B called. So I packed my bags to spend the night at his house and for the rest of the weekend cause I was gonna go up to Jess’ Mom’s house. I went over to B’s and we ended up spending the evening with Sky and Chrystol, mostly in the basement while the boys did chin ups (both one and two armed) then the four of us sat and the boys played some songs and Chrystol played the accordion for a while, which was hilarious, cause apparently it takes some muscles. We eventually ended up back upstairs discussing all sorts of things, namely Sky’s music face and Brandon’s “oh” face and B reading random lines from the book Jason checked out from the library with a very entertaining excerpts about Pinky and what he did with the author in the varnishing room, we were all in stitches wondering if this was for real. It was pretty funny. Then I took a shower and we all headed off to bed.
