Tuesday 11/29, More of the same after work, too much eating! Tonight I am having vegetables and nothing else! Watched ANTM and I can’t believe they kicked Kim off, I hope Nik wins now, I can’t stand any of the other girls, yuck, if any of them win it I think I may have to boycott it next season…

Monday 11/28, Was an interesting day. I got to work late because I had to go pick up the rental car, and then when I got to work I was instructed to take the computer down to Southcenter for repairs. The computer guy said it would take 3 hours to fix so I was told to stay down there and do Christmas shopping until it was done. Sounds good to me! So I hit some stores and the mall, then decided upon Azteca for lunch. Not too long after that the guy called and told me it was done so I picked it up and headed back to the office, where I was then told to go home early at 4:30, so I’m pretty sure it was the easiest day of work I’ve ever had. Didn’t do much at home except eat too much for dinner.

Sunday 11/27, Got up waaay too early, but to the airport on time and boarded the flight with no problems. We had a lay over in San Jose and I am not a fan of the city based on the airport and its workers. That’s all I’m going to say. Got through the second flight ok too, this time we actually got to sit together and B picked us up when we landed. We gave a ride to Zach and Spencer, the two 19 year old UW frat boys from CA we met at the airport. We all crammed into B’s car with luggage and shit piled up the ceiling and skis hanging out the window, but we made it and dropped them off at Kassie’s car. B and I went back to my house where I showered and changed then we went out to get a late lunch at the 12th Ave Café. Then it was off to Lowe’s where I’ve decided on a new surface for my counters instead of the previous choice of Formica, I’m very excited about it. We went home after that and just hung out and watched Desperate Housewives and went to bed.

Saturday 11/26, Got up and ate some oatmeal then got ready to go see Harry Potter. We got some Starbucks and then bought our tickets and went in. The movie was really good, though a lot of stuff was left out, and I think it’s the best one yet. After the movie we went to Tower and I bought some stuff then we headed over to California Pizza Kitchen and I had a pear and gorgonzola pizza that was very good. After getting back to Court’s we decided to head back up to Mom and Dad’s since it was mid-afternoon, and we talked in the car about stuff so we’ll be seeing what happens in about a month or so. When we got home we talked with Dad for a while then Court left and I called Alishia and went over to her house to see her place and we just hung out for a little while then I headed home and saw Kassie and Aubs on the freeway returning from their day of shopping in LA. We all ate some turkey pot pie that Mom made (delicious!) and then I had some peach pie and started packing my bags. I tried to go to bed early since we had to get up at 4:40 the next morning. Yuck.

Friday 11/25, Got up and walked again, but this time by myself, as Mom and Dad were out to breakfast and the others were still sleeping. It was nice and I did two laps around the park, it doesn’t sound like much, but that park is fricken huge. After I got back Dad made French Toast, double yum! I think Aubrie and I each ate 3 pieces, yes, it is that delicious. Then we prepped for the Santa pictures and Alishia came over. We headed down and got the pictures done then Kassie, Aubs and I stayed and did some shopping while the rest went back to the house. We went to Barney’s and I got some new jeans and a winter hat, then to Calvin Klein and got two sweaters there. They were all good buys though, so I wasn’t too stressed about spending the money. We went back to the house and just hung out for most of the afternoon, then I went into the motor home and fell asleep and woke up when Kassie came out to tell me to get ready for the murder mystery party cause Alishia and Aaron were there. So we got ready then went up to Mom’s bathroom for Kassie to do my makeup, well my facial hair since I was a boy again this year. Courtney and Pat got there and Pat’s outfit was really hilarious cause no one had noticed from the description that his character was supposed to be a girl, so when he showed up in women’s golf gear and a long mullet, we were all cracking up. We sat around and talked for a while then it was time to start the game and dinner. We did the game, and I wasn’t the murderer, though I thought I was and it wasn’t looking good there for a while. Dinner was good and the game was fun, but after it was over I packed my bag to go stay with Court so we left and went to their house. We talked for a while and watched an episode of Scrubs before going to bed.

Thursday 11/24, On Thanksgiving morn I got up to go for a walk again and wanted Aubs to go with me but Kim had spent the night and they were watching Dawson’s Creek so I got ditched…until Dad saw me and said that he’d go on a walk with me. So we went to the park and walked around there then we walked up into this neighborhood and back down, it was a long walk! We talked about AZ and his job, so that was all pretty interesting then when we got back he made pancakes, yum. After breakfast I showered and got ready. I didn’t really leave the house, but sunbathed in the back for awhile while reading magazines and listening to music, played on the internet, and ate. Dinner was late, we didn’t eat until about 9 so by the time we were all done it was very late and everyone was tired. Dinner was good, we had the usual two turkeys: one deep fried, one baked. It was all very good and then we had apple and peach pies for dessert (no one eats pumpkin in our family, well my Mom might) then everyone dispersed and went to bed.

Wednesday 11/23, I woke up ready to go for a walk in the beautiful Southern CA sunshine, and what do you know…Aubrie was up talking to some friends so when they left she came with me on my walk. How fun, so we cruised around the park for a little while then went back up to the house to get ready and woke Kassie up. We all got ready and headed down to our little pastry shop for a late breakfast. After that we headed to Spin and got some stuff, I only got some discounted singles and a new pair of shades, awesome. The guys that were working were very nice and I recognized the one guy from before, he was cute, though probably pushing 40. It was time to meet the fam for lunch by Mom’s place so we drove down there and got directions from Dad and Alishia. We surprised Mom and Lish with the new hair and Mom didn’t look too thrilled but I think it’s grown on her. We had some good lunch and I ate more than I should have but oh well, I walked in the morning so it was ok. The three of us went to Lou’s after that and that’s where I went a little crazy…I think I bought about 10 cds, but they were all used so it didn’t really break the bank, that comes later in the trip. We headed home after that to see the shirts Mom picked out for Santa pictures and I think we just ended up sitting around and playing on the computers and watching home videos until it was time to go to Aubrie’s birthday dinner at Benihana’s. Op, nope, Mom sent Aubrie and I out to Target for puzzles and Trader Joe’s for an organic turkey breast for Kassie. We found some interesting puzzles and I sent Aubs away to buy them while I bought the OC for her b-day. Then at TJ’s we had trouble finding what we needed but figured it out and Aubs told me the guy in the next line kept looking over and then when he talked he sounded like he had a southern accent. Funny. Grandma and Papa came before dinner and Grandma loves both of our hair, then we headed down in two separate cars and we let Kassie and Kim listen to the Filthy/Gorgeous song. We were seated and the fun began. Our chef guy was pretty good and fairly new on the job but we gave him lots of encouragement. Then he started this beat on the grill surface with some sticks or something and Kassie started to rap and the chef behind ours turned around, looked right at her, and laughed. It was so funny. Our dinner was very good and we were all stuffed by the time we rolled out. It was like 10 by the time we got home and we all headed to bed after Aubrie opened her presents, she got a digital camera from Mom and Dad…damn!

VACATION

Tuesday 11/22, Got off of work early and went home to shower and finish packing. B came over and picked me up and we went over to Mom’s to wait for Kassie. Pretty soon she got there but we were running late so we hopped in the car and took off. The airport wasn’t very busy luckily so we got checked and to our gate to wait. Got into San Diego on time and Dad was there to pick us up and we chatted the whole way down. Got home and went up to see Aubs and wished her a happy birthday after midnight and discussed plans for the next morning then went to bed. Felt good to get there.

Monday 11/21, Packed and B came over while I did that and he spent the night.

Sunday 11/20, Woke up around 10 and took a shower, got ready and decided to go to the Fremont market with S and C. We all got bundled up and headed out. I found the cutest white table and chairs but I didn’t even ask how much they were cause I know it was out of my price range. We walked around for a while but none of us got anything. Then we went into PCC and I got some humongous apples and we headed back home. B and I went to go get some lunch and he wanted Indian despite that we’d had it the night before. We drove down to the Ave and went to a buffet, and it was alright. I got some questionable lamb but the chicken was ok. We had two dipshits next to us talking and one was saying how the experiences he’s had with sex haven’t been that great and that he gets more satisfaction from jerking off. What wonderful table talk when the people next to you are literally a foot away. Then he said that he’s had such terrible luck with women that for a while he thought “This sucks, what if I’m gay!?” and the other guy was like “Amen, I’ve been there!” and gave the other one a high five. B and I just looked at each other and laughed. These guys were probably like 25-26 so I have a hard time excusing their inappropriateness. Had they been 18 year old frat boys, there’s a little wiggle room…but not for these guys. After the bill was paid we walked down to Tower so I could get the new Q, but they didn’t have it either! I was pissed, then I couldn’t find Happy Endings so I couldn’t get that either. Oh well, we stopped at Starbucks on our walk back so that made me feel a little better. We went back to B’s and laid down and fell asleep, but not before I got denied which has subsequently sent my mind spinning in an array of directions (especially since I won’t see him for a week). I’m not sure what’s going to happen, but I definitely didn’t feel good about it when I went to bed last night. That’s all I’m going to say on this about it though. So we slept for a while then C and S came home and B bounded downstairs to greet them while I stayed upstairs and stewed. I left at 5 til 5:00 for dinner at the fam’s where I found out dinner wasn’t until 6:00 so we all chatted in the kitchen while Kassie made her famous bars and Mom made Spanicopida (sp?). We had dinner and it was very good and everyone did their best and worst and we had dessert. I took off not long after dinner was over and got home just in time to catch most of AFV and call the guy whose insurance will cover my car. Then went downstairs to watch my shows with Susan. I talked with Susan about my B dilemma but we didn’t come to any conclusions. Oh well.

Sat 11/19, we woke up around 9:00 I think, not too late. I showered and we got ready and watched tv for a bit and decided to go up to Capitol Hill for lunch. First though, we had to go to Ka’ai’s to pick up the Kate Moss thing from Susan’s old bathroom. So we went over to Bellevue for that and Susan gave me some other stuff like candles and lotion and perfume and then we were on our way to Capitol Hill but avoided 520 cause of Apple Cup. We got up there and B parked. We went to the Honey Hole for lunch and it was very good (I also came up with the term “Randy Bandit” yay me). After that we headed to TiB and I did a little X-Mas shopping, if you know what I mean. Wink wink. Just kidding. After that we went back to B’s house to use the bathroom and were right back out the door to go to the newsstand that Jason works at to pick up the new Q, but Jason wasn’t there and they didn’t have it anyway, so I picked up the new Details with Jake Gyllenhaal on it (YUM) and a few postcards for Aunti Lauryn. We went back to B’s and I fell asleep I think while he went downstairs and read a magazine. He started cooking dinner and I came down just as it was done. It was very spicy and hard to eat, but I did it. C and S came home and we all decided to go to the grocery store to get fixins for milkshakes so we piled into B’s car and went on a little trip. We made our shakes and all just sat around and talked and kicked the TiB balloon around until like 11:30 I think then we all turned in for bed.

Friday 11/18, Hmm…just relaxed after work until Mom called me and told me that Alix’s play started at 7:30. My night then took a turn for the worse. I had to fight traffic to get to Mom’s and I knew I was going to be in for a long night since McBeth was a 3 hour long play…with high school students. There were a few things that kept Mom and I in stitches…the “gay” squire who we couldn’t tell whether this person was a girl or a boy, turns out it really was a boy. But he was so funny in his acting with the high pitched voice and shaky hand and smiling recital of lines. Every time he came onto the stage Mom and I would start laughing until Dad said “What’s wrong with you guys?”. There was also a girl that they were trying to make a boy but she had huge boobs and a ponytail but by putting a fake mustache on her they thought they were fooling us, but really it was like “Who’s the trannie squire in the back?” Then Kassie was in the back of the theater and we were texting back and forth and she was like “I can’t handle 3 hours of shit” and wanted me to raise my hand so she could see where we were sitting, I refused. At intermission Kassie left, the rest of us stayed, but there was one good actor I thought and I liked him, everyone else was so overdone and there was so much yelling, not my fav. After the play ended we took some pictures with Alix and left, I went to B’s to spend the night. We talked with S and C for a while before turning in.

Thursday 11/17, After work I got ready and tried to use curlers on my hair and it totally didn’t work so after about 4 of them I gave up. I grabbed some food and headed to B’s with no traffic the whole way, it was wonderful. When I got to B’s Chrystol watched me park and it took me while so it was a little embarrassing, but I managed. She also said that my hair was very “Carrie” which made me happy cause I wasn’t sure if I was pulling off the “in a barrette” look. C had tried to find me on the net earlier in the day but didn’t have much luck, so I showed her how to find B and me on myspace and we talked about my blog and how no one can find it, not even me. Then Chrystol, Sky, Jason, B and I all sat around and talked and laughed, it was fun. We talked about AFV, a new sex practice called the “Barnyard Strangler”, and terrible lesbian sex dreams. Then B had to go to bed so I sat in the living room for a few minutes then took off. Met Susan there and we walked up and we finally didn’t have to show the bouncer our ids, just that we had them. I don’t know what we did first but at one point we ended up upstairs and my Bouncer bf’s gf was there and Susan and I tried to figure out why. Unfortunately, we didn’t come up with any brilliant conclusions. There were a ton of trannies there that night, one looked like Mimi from the “Drew Carey” show…yikes! The songs were pretty good and he played “Hungry Like the Wolf” and “Come on Eileen” back to back, I was so excited. Hmm…we went outside one time for some fresh air and stretching but it was freezing out and a good song came on so we went back inside pretty quickly. Thomas showed up kind of late and that’s when I decided to leave. The bouncer gave me a hard time for leaving early (though it was about 1:00) and wanted to know what my excuse was and when I had to be up in the morning but we were trying to walk away cause it was freezing out and we wanted to get to my car…so I dropped Susan off and went home…BUT Susan tells me the next day that when she was getting her coat the bouncer cornered her (and seemed like he was drunk) and told her that he thinks I’m “so hot” or something, but Susan told him I have a bf and he was like “Well I’m married so it doesn’t really matter” or something but that the two of us walking up to the club look (making gross/dirty face) really good. Or something. I’m glad I’m skipping this week. Bleh, he reminds me of Troy and that is NOT a good thing.

Wednesday 11/16, After work I did some quick grocery shopping and then headed home and found B and Susan chatting in the living room. B started making our chicken lasagna and it took forever! After watching the usual HGTV shows and taking an environmental telephone survey we watched ANTM, and I was shocked by the result…how the hell could they get rid of Lisa and keep Jayla?! I HATE Jayla, I think she’s not attractive at all and sucks at modeling…yeah, Lisa looks old but she takes great pictures. Jayla hasn’t taken one picture that is better than any of Lisa’s…that made me so mad. It was shocking really.

Tuesday 11/15, Relaxed after work and made Gyoza for dinner, not terribly impressed with the brand so I’ll try a new one next time. Watched all the HGTV shows then went upstairs and puttered around up there til bed time.

Monday 11/14, I went to work early so that I could take a long lunch and go get estimates for my car to get fixed. After work I went and got my hair cut at Red with Andrea and we decided to go shorter this time, mid-neck. There was a really cute blonde receptionist-type guy there and he was trying to chat me up but I kind of shot him down a little, even though I thought he was cute. Whoops. When I first came in, he was all “Kassie isn’t here yet” which I thought was weird, like, how do you know I’m Kassie’s sister? And how do you know she’s supposed to be there when I came in? Then later after Andrea came out and was taking me to her chair she asked where Kassie was and he was like “She’s with Mike and so and so, do you know them? She’s going to be late but she’ll be here”. Um, ok. When Andrea and “Scott” were talking about my hair, Blondie came over and was like, “So, what are we doing here?” and Scott told him. Then I think it was “Scott” who asked me if I was younger or older and Blondie looked at me and said, “I know you’re older than Kassie because she doesn’t have any younger sisters” and I was like, “Yes she does, she has three younger sisters”. Shot. Down. I don’t know why I have a problem when it comes to cute guys (you’ll remember me shooing those 3 hot guys from my front stoop a few months ago as Kristel stood by, mouth agape), oh well, I’m taken anyway, I don’t need to flatter any boys by humoring their know-it-all statements. Anyway, back to the hair-cutting…she did it straight again, which I’m not crazy about but I told her I loved it and tipped big since I get the family discount. Kassie showed up mid-cut and sat and talked with us and that was fun, then she walked me out and I headed over to B’s. Hung out there and had Split Pea soup for dinner that Chrystol made and I surprisingly liked it. We all sat around the living room watching Antique Road Show and made jokes. Jason told me about a new sex practice called the “Dolphin” which I won’t explain on here, other than that it is very funny. I tried calling the woman who hit my car but she didn’t answer, so I packed up my stuff and headed out and she called just as I did, so I slipped one of the estimates into her mail slot and drove home. Tiring day so I retired to my room after chatting with Susan for a few minutes.

Lazy weekend I guess

Sunday 11/13, B said that he wanted to get up early and get going on his apps, but we slept in until 11:30. He started working on his stuff while I laid in bed and kind of dozed in and out of sleep while reading a magazine or staring out the window. Around 2:30 I went and got us lunch. He worked on his stuff all afternoon until I left at around 4:45. I had to go get a card for Dad’s b-day and then headed over there. Erika was there and we had a nice dinner though I wasn’t very hungry cause I had eaten not long before, but I made sure to eat all of my bread pudding with apples and ice cream…mmmmm, delicious. I left not too long after and did some laundry when I got there and watched my shows from the comfort of my bed.

Saturday 11/12, Jason came upstairs and woke us up at 8:45 to tell us that the cop was back along with the lady who hit my car. So she said that she planned on leaving a note in the morning, yeah right, but she was there then so the cop gave us each a piece of paper to fill out and exchange with each other to provide car/insurance information. So he asked me if I was satisfied and I said yes, so he left. B filled out the description for me and she went to go get coffee and came by to trade after she got back. After that, B and I went to Bellevue to get supplies to finish the kitchen, which we did and had lunch at the BBQ place then went back to Seattle. B worked on his paper and application stuff and I fell asleep with lovely Sufjan Stevens playing, but then I got up and we went and got a movie (Me, You and Everyone We Know) and had dinner and dessert. I love that movie and B liked it too, so that was good. I think we went to bed not too long after that.

Friday 11/11, Day off, so I tried to sleep in but wasn’t very successful. I spent the entire morning in bed, watching Secretary and Saved by the Bell: The College Years…yikes! I did some laundry and finally Mom came over and we discussed counters and tile and went to Home Depot to go scope them out. I think I’m going to get a second opinion at Lowe’s though cause they weren’t very helpful at Home Depot and won’t come out to measure my counters before I order them. Did more laundry when I got home and earlier had hooked up the speakers and rearranged the wires and stuff on the stereo stuff. After Susan got home I got the VCR hooked up to the tv so now we get channels above 65. We watched our usual HGTV shows while eating pizza with ranch, then I left to go to B’s. We hung around and didn’t do much until our 9:40 showing of Broken Flowers at the Crest. Ehhhh. Neither of us was terribly impressed though I have many more theories about it now than I did when I walked out. We went to bed when we got home but around 1:30 Chrystol woke us up telling me that the neighbor hit my car and that they didn’t leave a note but she had gotten the make/model/license plate number and had noticed the white paint scraped down the side of the car on theirs. She had seen the whole thing from her upstairs window and has now picked up the nickname “Neighborhood Watch”. So I called my insurance and they said to call the police since technically it’s a hit and run, so I did and that was at like 1:45 and the dispatcher person said it would take “a while” which turned out to be 2 hours so I curled up with a wool blanket from Chrystol in the chair in the living room and tried to sleep. Two cops showed up at 3:45 and I woke up Chrystol and she gave them the account and then the one officer told me that I may not have a say in it, but he may have to arrest someone, but if they want to exchange information would I want to do that. So I said yes and that I didn’t want anyone to get arrested, I just wanted my car to be fixed and have someone acknowledge it. So they go over and pound on the door for 15 minutes and no one ever answers. So he said he would be back in a few hours and check again, so it was after 4:00 by the time I got to bed and of course I couldn’t fall asleep forever…

Thursday 11/10, I got off of work a little early and went home to relax because of terrible cramps, so I took a long, very hot shower and then laid in bed for a little while. That helped, so I got ready and left to go to B’s house. We ended up falling asleep and I left at around 10:15 to meet Susan in the lot. When we got there there was an insane line, because most people had Friday off we were guessing. The bouncer is kind of remembering us I think, but not enough to where we don’t have to show our ids. Beau had a shirt that said “Love is for Losers” and at first I thought it said “Love is for Lovers” and I was like “Aww, he’s a romantic!” but apparently not after Susan corrected my thinking. We danced in our usual spot and saw Derek lurking around a lot, though Blue shirt wasn’t there. Um, we made a couple of trips upstairs to watch the crowd, a couple of trips outside though it was freezing, but mainly we stayed on the dance floor. The songs were actually pretty good, though no Duran Duran got played. Boo. Thomas came and found us and we bumped butts, and he’s surprisingly got some bump in his trunk, I was impressed. Plus he’s really hot, so there’s that. Red Hoodie was back and I don’t think he’s gay, he might be bi though, but he is soooo cute, I’m so glad I have a new crush, though it’s not like I get to talk to him or anything, especially when he’s got his arm draped around some stupid girl. Richie dissed me again by not showing up, oh well. Craig showed up with a hat and some stubble and came over and briefly said hi, then went to dance with some girls who looked like pre-pubescent boys. Is that mean? Sorry, I guess I just call it like it is. I think I’m too womanly for him to give me a second glance. Oh well again. I was pretty tired so I didn’t stay very late, only like 1:20 or so.

Wednesday 11/9, Attempted to fix my electronics after I got home and was mildly successful, but I have to get back at it and figure some other things out with speakers and cables and whatnot. Watched ANTM and no one got kicked off which disappointed Susan and me cause we thought Nicole and Jayla were both going to get the boot

Tuesday 11/8, B was there when I got home and had started finishing up the sheetrock so that was very exciting. We worked on it together for a while until we ran into a problem, so then we ate some food and took off for BB&B and Radioshack where I picked up some speaker wire and home-y type things.

Monday 11/7, Tried to clean up a little around the house, you know, vacuuming, putting the coffee table back, organizing tools, etc. Mom came over right as Arrested Development was coming on so I watched that but Susan and Mom watched the commotion with the cops at the entrance to the complex. None of us could figure out why they were there.

Sunday 11/6, Got up a little late and planned to meet Grandpa and Grandma at Newport Bay. Dad ran and got supplies and then Kassie met us at my house so that we could go over together. Had a nice breakfast with a delicious vegetarian omelet which was large enough to take home for leftovers. When we got back we talked with Kassie for a little bit then she was on her way. Dad and I got back down to business and got almost everything done but decided to quit so that we could go over to Mom’s for dinner, which was about 7:30 or so. By the time we got home it was late and Dad needed to get down to a hotel by the airport so he packed up and took off. It was hard having him leave after being there constantly for 3 days and not really getting to do anything fun, just having to work the whole time. He said he enjoys it though, just getting to spend time with me even if it’s doing work the whole time…it was a huge help and it’s almost done, so it’s a pretty big relief.

Saturday 11/5, Dad woke up early, but told me to stay in bed if I was still tired, so I did for a little while while he got started. Brandon came over at around 10:30 or so and then Alan came over and started helping with electrical, then Grandpa to help with electrical too, so I had a whole “hive” of activity…and it was great. Dad, B and I went to that Chinese place in Issaquah for lunch and it was really good, I’ll have to go back cause it was clean and good, which is sometimes hard to find in a Chinese restaurant. Back at home progress was being made and everyone was helping everyone else and cracking jokes, it was actually really fun. They all helped me get my tv up from the garage and B set it up (after we had cut out the mf shelf that used to be there) then Alan and Grandpa trickled out cause they had stuff to do and it was getting late. Dad went to the store and got a huge Hawaiian pizza for us and we all settled in to watch Batman Begins, I thought it was actually pretty good and it felt good to relax. I think we all went to bed after the movie which was about 10:30.

Friday 11/4, Friday I had the day off to help Dad tear shit apart in the kitchen, and build it back up. Got up right after Susan left and started working. Well, first I took a shower, then I started helping Dad. Things went pretty well for the first part of the day…a few trips to Lowe’s, not too many obstacles, made Dad and Grandpa lunch with the supplies I had and helped Grandpa down in the garage, then helped Dad in the garage and was on permanent sweep up duty cause Dad can’t stand a mess while he works. We ran into quite a few problems as the afternoon went on, that I don’t care to outline here because living though them was hell enough, so suffice it to say, it was pretty miserable and stressful, but we got everything turned back on and functioning before we went to meet Kassie and Chelsea for dinner at Palace Kitchen, but it was late, and we didn’t even get seated til like 10, Dad and I were exhausted and the last thing we wanted to do was stand more, but we did, dinner was good but we didn’t get home til about 11:30 or something. I didn’t freeze that night cause I piled on the blankets. Ha.

Thursday 11/3, Took off from work early to meet Dad at my place, we started tearing into the wall and getting stuff cleaned up, then went to dinner at 5:30 with Grandma and Grandpa at Outback. After getting home I got ready to go out and Susan and I drove separately in to Neighbours, not too many entertaining things to report. Spandex bf was there and ran over to give me a hug, saw the hot guy from a few weeks back (red hoodie), and saw Derek again, though he kind of stayed away. I talked to the bouncer a little bit, but forgot his name already…he kind of reminds me of Troy, yuck. When it was time for me to leave Susan glanced outside and saw Andy and I whirled around, and with my mouth gaping open, pointed at him as he was looking at us. Went out and talked to him and he was all “Let me guess, it must be around 1:00” and it was, Susan ratted me out that I didn’t have to work in the morning, I got a big hug when I left and found out that he usually is working at Cowgirls Inc on Fridays and Saturdays. Slept on the air mattress and kind of froze.

Wednesday 11/2, I think I just cleaned after work and got my room ready for the Pa. Can’t remember.

Tuesday 11/1, B got over to my house early to help my Grandpa and Dad do electrical work in the kitchen and down in the garage. That made me smile because I wasn’t sure if he’d just sit up in my room and avoid helping or pitch in and make the job easier for my Gramps…I’m proud to say he took action and helped. I got home a little earlier than usual and we just laid around and I made dinner and we watched my HG shows. Susan had a big show to go to in Seattle so she was getting ready for that. I managed to persuade B to help me hang the curtain rod in front of the doorway to help keep the cold air from seeping up into the main living area. It looks good though I may have B drill the rod to the holders so that the rod doesn’t move from side to side. I did some other cleaning and talked to Court then we went to bed at like 10:15…kinda early.

Monday 10/31, Did some grocery shopping after work, went home, ate an entire pizza (a very bad idea, even if it was thin crust) then Susan and I decided to go to Costco where we bickered like an old lesbian couple. Pretty entertaining…I picked up some movies and George Harrison’s “All Things Must Pass” (listening to it right now in fact) and headed home where I had candy waiting for the little trick or treaters. Unfortunately two not so good things happened when I got home. 1. No trick or treaters ever came therefore I have quite a bit of candy at my house which my roommate, bf and myself really shouldn't be eating, somehow I think we’ll manage though. 2. My microwave went out along with the plug to the right of it above the counter. This was a bigger problem than the trick or treaters, so I made a mental reminder to call Grandpa in the morning to break the news to him. After returning from our shopping extravaganza I think we both retired to our rooms.

Sunday 10/30, B and I got up pretty late and came down to find Chrystol making breakfast and Sky wearing sunglasses despite the cloudy morning. We started watching a terrible tv movie called Tales From the Darkness or something with Christian Slater, Steve Buschemi (sp?), Julianne Moore and I think Joey Lawrence as a 6 year old. It was pretty terrible and B and I had to rip ourselves away in order to go pick up the tv at Peggy and Jim’s. So we headed to Grandma and Grandpa’s to pick up the van and headed over. I cut my finger trying to get one of seats to dislodge and while I was cleaning up Jim and B got the tv in. Then the four of us got the other one upstairs and hooked up. B and I dropped the tv off at my house then dropped the van back off, went to Mom’s and ate some polenta (I had to clean up dog barf) then went back to B’s. No one was there when we got there and B wanted to take a shower so he got in and I was going to join him and had just started going down the stairs in attire I usually reserve only for my house, when I heard the front door open so I had to dash back up and grab a towel cause I didn’t want Sky and Chrystol to see me in only my undies. They laughed when I came down in the towel so I imagine me in nothing but my panties might have elicited rolling on the floor laughter. We took a little nap then got up and went downstairs and hung with the rest of the roommates but were getting hungry so we went to Kidd Valley, went back to B’s and watched some tv until it was 7:30 and time for me to go. Got home and watched tv with Susan.

3 Nights of Fantasy and Fun!

Saturday 10/29, Woke up with a whole slew of things to do but didn’t get most of them accomplished. I got up around 8:15 and went to Costco for gas, but then came home and crawled back into bed and kind of fell asleep. Mom came over and we went to BB&B and picked up stuff to hang my curtain up with then we sat around and talked about what I could do in the rest of the place and she left around 2:45. Grandpa was busy working downstairs in the garage on my outlets and left a little while after Mom. I managed to get some stuff done around the house, but not much…I was feeling kind of lazy. Went over to Mom’s at 5:30 or so for dinner and that was good, but then it was off to B’s for Halloween party fun. Everyone was just sitting around when I got there but soon everyone branched off to get their costumes on. Luckily Chrystol had ripped out a picture of Paris for me to do my makeup from and B helped do my hair. It took me awhile, but I was finally orange (used that gold eye shadow as bronzer) and all done up. Chrystol got a really perfect picture that I’ll have to borrow and scan. We went down to the basement and B got a fire going in the sauna and I hid in there most of the night cause it was so cold, met some new people, sat with Chrystol (Greek Goddess/Oracle) while she did a bunch of the fortune telling and palm reading…that was really fun. She was the first fate (she spins it) I was the second fate (I measure it) and Jen was the third (she cuts it). A group of us ended up playing Outburst (I participated) and that was fun, then we just sat around and talked and I dissed B again and Jason just laughed and was like “The one who burns you the most is your gf” but I can’t even remember what I said. The last person left by 2:00 or so and we all went to bed. Very fun evening.

Friday 10/28, Got home from work and lounged for a bit and then started getting ready to go out and did my makeup kind of crazy and Susan and I left to go to Kay-See’s around 8:45 and when we got there we had to talk her into wearing her stripped shirt and her red heels, so we were all ready and headed out trying to make it to Toys in Babeland in time before they closed, but alas, we did not and ended up going down to the Mercer Tower instead and this bitchy girl who worked there charged me the higher price for my used cd…bitch. I used to be you. Then we headed back up to Chop Suey and drove for a while trying to find a parking spot and finally found one and didn’t have to pay and we went in and I spotted Neil right away at the back part of the bar so we went over and K did hugs and introductions. It was Neil, his bf, Kyle and Richie (Neil’s good friend). Richie and I started chatting about life east of Seattle, living situations, kids, um…other stuff I can’t remember. Well he did tell me a secret but I don’t know if it’s a real secret or a fake one to see what my reaction is. Right as he was telling me, Thomas came up right behind him and my eyes got all big and I stuck my hand in his face and he just looked at me…I’m not sure why I did that, but I apologized later and he said it was ok and that he recognized me but couldn’t remember from where. Went out on the dance floor and danced with Kyle and Kay-See then went to find Susan, who had gone to try to decipher which restroom was for the ladies, to tell her about Thomas. Found her in the men’s room (apparently they were unisex for Comeback) with pictures of guys giving each other head and other pictures of penises all over the walls and some guy was all, "I wasn’t sure if you were a drag queen," so I said “Um..ok, I guess I’ll take that as a compliment” even though I really wasn’t, did I look that bad? But then he was like “Uh, I was kidding,” me: “Oh, ha ha ha ha!” nervous laughter. Went back out and we danced for a long time to some pretty good music until this scary Indian came out and started talking about “shave my pussy” and “cut off my breasts” holding a knife over both body regions. Yikes. I was frightened but the rest of the crowd loved it. I also didn’t appreciate the really bad white-boy rapper and we left not too long after he stopped. Susan got to dance with Thomas and Ely and at one point Thomas put his arm around my waist and pulled me over to him and I was dancing with him but I didn’t know what to do and Susan said she could tell, but I tried to dance anyway. When we decided to leave (around 12:45) I gave Neil a hug and told him that he was the most perfect man I’ve ever seen, even more than Jude Law, and I LOVE Jude Law. He told me he loved me and then turned his head and put his finger on his cheek for me to kiss it, so I did, then he went to kiss my cheek but my hair got in the way, DAMMIT! I should have moved it and told him to give it another go, oh well, he said thanks for coming and I said maybe I’d see him at Neighbours again sometime. Said bye to Kyle who had been humpy dancing with Kay-See all night, which was pretty entertaining, and then made our way to the back part of the bar again to say good bye to Richie (Susan had gone off to say bye to the boys). I went to give him a hug but spilled his beer all over his shirt and my arm so I was like “I’m so sorry I just spilled your beer all over you!” and he was like “I like you so much I don’t even care” we just embraced for a minute and were looking at each other like we were going to kiss, but we weren’t cause he’s gay, but he’s so tall that it was kind of fun. I told him he should come to Neighbours for 80’s Night sometime but he says he hates Neighbours, but he’s on myspace so I would find him and we would chat. We left and walked back to the car each with our own stories to share, dropped K off and then went home and made it into bed at 2:30 or so.

Thursday 10/27, Went to B’s later than usual cause he wasn’t done with work so I got there around 8 or so and hung out with Sky and Chrystol then B and I went upstairs and I just wanted to go to sleep but he kicked me out at 9:45 or so but Chrystol and I talked costumes for a while and then I left. Got to the lot at the same time as Susan and we went up and sized up the new bouncer, ehhh. We danced to a couple of songs with our hoodies on until we had a chance to check them. The costumes were pretty good, I think the only ones dressed up were drag queens. Blue shirt was there humping everything in sight and grossing us out. He touched my ass at one point and when I whipped around and gave him a dirty look he was all “Don’t worry I’m gaaaay!” and I barked, “Yeah right!” ugh, he grosses me out. So Susan and I were dancing and all of a sudden I spotted the most beautiful blonde boy, and yes, it is Neil. So I start freaking out and Susan’s like “Go over there” so after the loud industrial Halloween-y song was over I went over and tapped him on the shoulder until he turned around and was like “Hey!” so we kind of chatted for a minute and he gave me a hug and then a high five when I said I was going to Chop Suey the next night for Comeback, then I went back over to Susan, and I was all smiles. Then this guy who was kind of cute with a green shirt came and danced with Susan and me but he was totally wasted and we weren’t interested so he left and went on to hump the girl dancing next to us. This guy up on the stage saw the guy and was laughing so we kind of smiled at each other back and forth, but then he wanted to dance but I’m not interested in dancing with some random guy, though he was kind of cute. He can dance by us but I’m not interested in humping someone on the dance floor. Saw Kyle and bf and he told me he loved my hair and new look and that I look “svelte” I was so flattered and he interrupted “Derek” from trying to dance with me so that was kind of funny, then Susan saw Craig right behind me so I went to talk to him and he has a broken foot from kicking a sign cause he thought his car got towed but he had just parked on a different street. For Halloween he’s going to be “your Mom” and then I went back to dance with Susan. Decided to leave and said good bye to Derek and he was all, “How do I get a hold of you outside of Neighbours?” and I was all, “Well I have a bf, but I come on Thursdays and it’s always nice to see a familiar face so maybe I’ll see you again”. He was nice, but yeah, I have a bf so I’m not interested.
