12/24 Saturday, We woke up earlier than we had since we’d gotten there and got ready and finished packing to head out. Alix and I cleaned the kitchen without any help from Jake even though he made all of the mess, and Dad sided with him of course. We finally made it out and to David and Carries for breakfast and present opening. I got new earrings, a necklace and a Patagonia vest from Peggy. All very nice. We just hung out all day cause we didn’t have to be to the airport until about 4. Said all of our goodbyes and loaded into the rental van and off to the airport. Got through everything fine except the airline chose me to be screened, not sure why but Jake just stood there and stared. Kassie got a sandwich and shared with me before we boarded the plane. On the plane we watched all of the same shows and there was one good one about trails in WA so we’re going to go do some of them. Landed, it took forever for our luggage, Alishia’s plane was delayed so we all went home and Kassie said she would go back and pick her up. B came over and I finished wrapping presents and packing for B-ham.
12/23 Friday, We woke up a little late but all started getting ready because Zeph was coming over and going to pick us up. I gave him directions on the phone and saw him pull in, looking very dapper in his fancy boots, tie and sweater. He was going to take us into Boston along with Alix and Jake who were going to take the T to Harvard. The three of us set out on a walk but Kassie and I were hungry so we stopped at Au Bon Pain and got some food then set out again on our walk. Saw a pretty church and took some pictures, along with a video, then we set out for some boutique that Kassie wanted to see, though we got lost and onto the wrong street halfway there, so we backtracked and got on the right one, finally found it with only a little time before we were going to have to head back to put money in the meter, but it was closed. So we went to a couple of other little stores, but then we only had 20 minutes to get back so we booked it and decided to drive up to some area, that I can’t remember the name of right now. So we walked around and looked at all of the cute little brownstones and met this guy named George who told us to go to the library and had gotten off of his phone call just to talk to us (or hit on us as Zeph pointed out) and tell us where to get the best canolis. We got on our way and hit some little shops and bought some stuff for Maddie’s birthday and went to a little Italian bakery where I got a warm chocolate chip cookie. We decided to get back on our way to the car since we really didn’t know where we were going, but we found it with a few minutes to spare. Then we headed to the North End to get those canolis at Mike’s, but got lost trying to get there cause Zeph doesn’t know Boston as well as he should, but we did find it, waited in line FOREVER, but got them and were on our way. Got lost multiple times trying to get to the highway but finally found it and were on our way home to make the 6 o’clock dinner date. Zeph hung out for a little while then left to go have dinner with his family. Peggy and Collette and Claude and Becky all showed up and we all ate and had dessert. We stayed kind of late but then went back to the house where Claude and Becky came over and we talked about myspace and parental screening. I packed and went to bed.
12/22 Thursday, I was in a bad / weird mood so I decided to stay at home for the day and just relax. I got up late, stayed in bed and read / slept for most of the day. We were on our own for dinner that night so Mom made macaroni and then we went to a movie with Uncle Jerry. We picked him up in Cambridge and he took us to the “worst part” which is where the movie theater is, but it wasn’t bad at all, compared to other “worst parts” but it was still funny that he went out of his way to explain it. Kassie, Alix and I saw Family Stone and it was ok, not great, kind of unrealistic but entertaining anyway. After the movie we went to this chocolate shop and got hot chocolate and I bought some chocolates for Peggy and Jim. Then Jerry gave us a tour of all of the really big Cambridge houses and they are so beautiful and we all picked which ones we wanted. It was nuts how big they were. We dropped him off at like 11 or 11:30 or something and went home where we all stayed up late again and Kassie talked to Zeph for most of the night (or maybe it was the night before) and made plans to meet up and go on a tour the next day. I looked at his profile and noticed that he was very cute, but his profile needs a bit of editing. I talked to him for a few minutes and he said something about carrying me and I said he better be big, then he asked me if I was 200 lbs or something, I of course said no. Anyway, he seemed very nice and I wasn’t as worried about meeting one of Kassie’s unique friends.
12/21 Wednesday, It was Mom’s birthday though I forgot to wish her until later that day. Kassie and I didn’t get up until like 11 or something and then got ready to go into Boston for a day of shopping and exploring. Jake was being terrible and was left at home. Mom and Dad tried to help us by dropping us off at the train but it wasn’t coming soon so we ended up walking back to the T station at Riverside. We boarded and talked to a girl behind us about where to get off to go to Newbury (Newberry?) Street. We finally got off and started down the street and hit Louis Boston first and we just weren’t good enough to be in there, that’s how the staff felt I think. We went to go get something to eat and warm up and stopped at a little café and sat next to some Italian guys. Then we went to Marc Jacobs and some little boutiques where I should have bought some stuff cause it was so on sale. Oh well. Got some stuff for Adrian and then headed home and talked with Uncle David about how to make it to the train station and which one to get on. So we did that and talked to a guy on the train about where we were supposed to get off, and then walked in the freezing ass cold back to our little house. We weren’t there long before we headed off to Uncle David’s for Mom’s birthday dinner. Pam, Jerry and Amelia were also there and we had a very good dinner and a nice cake. Adrian’s just the cutest little baby ever, there is just no comparison. It was getting late so we headed back and stayed up late playing on the computer and talking on the phone with our respective Seattle-ites. 12/20 Tuesday, I had to be at Mom’s super early so B and I both got up and moving and I was there by 7:45 or something and we headed off to the airport. Jake was a little irritating, though it could have been worse. We flew first class so that was really nice. We got these things called DigEPaks that have a lot of movies and tv shows programmed on them, so I spent my time watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Arrested Development. Kassie pretty much slept the whole time. Food was pretty bad except for the warm nut mix. Oh yeah, warm nuts. Ha! Ok, so we finally land and Uncle David is there to pick us up, so we get our luggage and head back to his house in Newton. It is a really beautiful house and there were like 5 pizzas there waiting for us (this was like the 4th day in a row I’d had pizza) but it was delicious. The pieces were so huge though that I could only eat 2. Dad and Alix finally got home and we headed to the Walker Center to our house for the next 4 days. 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bath and all of the other amenities, it was cute but a little funky and outdated. So Kassie and I were bunking together and we usually stayed up pretty late which made adjusting when we got home that much easier. Jake whined the whole night and Dad was trying to find him a flight home cause he was so irritating.
12/19 Monday, B came over cause I was going to be leaving on Tuesday. We went out to "Extreme Pizza" and then just hung out, I packed and we went to bed.
Sunday 12/18, I had to get up semi-early to go to Mom’s brunch at Palisades. Jason had bought donuts so I ate one of those while Chrystol told us about how Andy had had a sleepover and slept between her and Sky, while Jason thinks the neighbor is mad because Andy “hadn’t come home last night” and that next time he’s missing she’s going to come over and check to see if he’s there. I think it’s really funny, cause he sleeps on the bed, gets cat treats, gets lots of attention and gets to walk all over the table and furniture. Jason calls it “Grandma’s house” where anything goes. Went to Kassie’s to meet up to go to Palisades together and we had a very good breakfast, I tried the Palisades Wellington which I’ve never had before, but it was delicious. After that we all went back to the house to open a present since Alix won’t be there for the real Christmas and it was the last time we’d all be together until after the New Year. I got a very nice present from Mom and Dad in the form of a check for my kitchen. Kassie and I headed back to her house where I got my car and then went to Zach’s for a late lunch. I wasn’t hungry so I just sat while he ate, then he asked if I wanted to see Pride and Prejudice since there was one playing in 45 minutes, so we moved my car (I parallel parked!), got some snacks from the store, and hit the used cd and dvd store before going in and seeing Brooke Yerkie, yuck, and settling into our handicap seats. We talked quite a bit before the movie started and joked throughout it, so it was actually really fun. It was a decent movie and I’m glad I got to see it. After that we went back to his house and just talked til about 6:30, it felt really good to catch up before he ships out, and I always forget how easy it is to talk to him and how much fun we have just laughing at stupid stuff. I got home a wrapped presents and did laundry and talked to B, then got into bed. Zach texted me saying he found a pube in the cd I had borrowed, but I don’t think it’s mine. Seriously.
Saturday 12/17, B made me oatmeal in the morning and then we left to go get some lunch and see Brokeback Mountain at the Harvard Exit. First we went to Home Depot though to get some drain clog stuff, and the kind I ended up getting came in a plastic bag because it’s so toxic (It’s lye I think). After we did that we went up to Capitol Hill and had some pizza at Pagliacci then headed over to Urban Outfitters to look around. Found lots of interesting stuff and bought something for Kassie before heading over to buy tickets. The line was pretty long so I was worried we were going to get terrible seats, we ended up sitting up on the balcony which wasn’t terrible, but it was pretty hot up there. I LOVED the movie and did some crying (but not as loud as some lady down below who was sobbing, literally) and was embarrassed when I came out because I was afraid my makeup was going to be all smeared. B was so sweet, telling me we could wait a minute before leaving and then walking with his arm around me to the car to make sure I was ok. Very sweet. Back to his house where he did his drains and then we left to go to my house so I could get some stuff and so he could do Susan’s drain. Did that and headed back to his house but stopped at the store for dinner fixins, he made some yummy raviolis and bruscetta, same thing he made me the first time he made dinner. Aww. Then Andy the cat wanted in so B let him in and gave him some snacks. I was reading a magazine when all of the roommates came home and I eventually went upstairs cause I was so fricken freezing and read up there and tried to ask B some Glamour “Get to know him” questions. He cooperated somewhat, but we were both tired so we went to bed.
Friay 12/16, Showered after work to prep for Kirsten’s party down by B’s. Went to B’s at about 7:00 and hung out there until it was time to go to the party and B was nice enough to drop me off so I wouldn’t have to worry about parking, yay! Got there and started socializing and Kristel showed up not too long after I did, so we gossiped for a little bit then everyone else showed up. Met some very nice people and traded some really funny stories. It was good to see Kirsten though I didn’t have too much time to chat directly, but that’s cause there was a table full of people who all wanted to do the same thing, but we got some of the dirt on her life in Chicago so it all worked out. Some very enormous pizzas were ordered and they were also enormously delicious. How I ended up taking home a lot of the leftovers is beyond me, but B and Sky enjoyed them. Kristel was wonderful enough to drive me back to B’s and we went to bed not too long after I got there since it was about 10:30 or so.
Thursday 12/15, Got home from work a tad early and talked to the wife for a while before taking a shower and prepping for the night’s events. Susan made flavored gnocchi for dinner and I added a little of my sun dried tomato sauce to it and a little parmesan cheese to the top. Delicioso. Then I hit the road to B’s and Skye was excited to see that brought the “Cuties” (those little oranges) and B just said they were alright. Hmph. We went up to his room because he was feeling sick from eating too much for dinner. We booked our tickets down to SD for the end of January and just laid and talked until it was time for him to go to bed. Chatted with Chrystol and Skye for a few minutes before hitting the road once again, this time for Neighbours. Had to hug the bouncer when we got up there, but luckily both Susan and I were in on the same hug so it’s not like our boobs had to push up against him…yuck. Anyway, we hung out upstairs for quite a while until we couldn’t stand not dancing to the good songs that were being played. We checked our stuff then used the bathroom where this girl was all, “It’s my friend’s birthday and I’m the only one who showed up, will you come wish him a happy birthday? It’s so sad! Oh my God, do my eyelashes look fake?” It was kind of bizarre and awkward but we wished him a happy birthday and made our way back out onto the dance floor. Derek showed up and was dancing / lurking around with his bald friend who likes to invade people’s personal space. Susan was busy so I decided to take a lap and ended up running into Kyle, who slid his hand down my butt, and chatted for a minute before I headed upstairs to see if Bouncer bf was up there (he wasn’t) but Derek came up and found me, so we talked and he wanted to know if Susan and I were scared of him or not because Susan always pulls me away from him when he’s talking to me, I told him she’s just protective and trying to help me avoid talking to crazy people (not just guys, girls too). Then he said that she physically pushed him out of the way once when he was talking to me, I thought that was hilarious, but Susan said it’s not true. I wish it were. The mental picture is making me laugh just thinking about it. So I got a bunch of dirt on him and his business card and we ended up going back down cause there were more terrific songs being played. Thomas showed up and he danced with me and it was so hot that I was laughing, though he thought I was laughing at him, so I clarified. Then Kyle and I pointed at each other during a Erasure song that said something sassy, though I can’t remember. So I just kind of danced in a circle, one direction facing Kyle, one facing Derek, one facing Thomas and one facing Susan. It was a busy night. If Craig would have been there it would have been really crazy. I decided to leave not too long after that and avoided saying bye to Derek by sneaking out and slipping virtually unnoticed by the bouncer. Did I mention it was fricken freezing out??
Wednesday 12/14, took the camera back after work since I got off early (I took P and J to the airport very early so I got to leave early, yay!). Costco would only give me cash so now I have to make a trip to the bank, arg. Went home and watched Happy Endings, made some dinner, watched ANTM reunion (I still hate Nichole, yuck), read some of an old Q and went to bed.
Tuesday 12/13, I woke up at B’s and knew I had a big day ahead of me and I was dreading the drive home, but surprisingly there wasn’t as much traffic as last week, so I actually got home pretty quickly. I got dressed and ready and headed out to Costco for gas and then for shopping, bought Dad a digital camera only to find out later that he already bought one for himself after we left SD at Thanksgiving. Then I headed to the other side of the freeway heading for the shop I always buy ornaments at but they’ve turned into a pot place, so I bought a pretty pot for each mom, then hit the bank and grocery store. After I got home and unloaded the car and relaxed in bed. I believe I watched Cinderella then got ready to go over to Kristel’s house for dinner and a chat session. I left for her place and hit some traffic but made it right on time. She started making the pizza while I worked on the brownie mix (which happened to be a “Family Size” box, whoops) so we chatted while we worked away and waited for our delicious meal to be done. The pizza was fabulous and if I didn’t know better, I would say Kristel has been doing this for awhile, but I do know better, so I am even more impressed with her skills. We ate the delicious dinner and gossiped even more. I think when you’re trying to solve the world’s most important problems over dinner, you tend to eat more…that’s my excuse anyway. We finished that whole damn pizza, and it was gooood. Then it was onto dessert, oh yes, the Family Size Dark Chocolate brownies that were meant to be baked in a 13” x 9” pan, but we made in an 8” x 8”. They were thick and delicious. I came away from our delightful evening with some really great answers or at least some conversation starters for B and me. (Um, it is “B and me”, right? Not B and I? Just checking) I left Kristel’s at about 9:00 with a full tummy, and I swear all of that food expanded because by the time I was huffing up the many stairs to my room, I almost felt sick, but in a good way I guess. Showered and then went to bed.
Monday 12/12, went over to B’s to spend the night since I didn’t have to work Tuesday. We watched Arrested Development in Chrystol’s room, though the reception sucked, but we kind of got it to work. At least I know what happened. Um, I think we just went to bed or something.
Sunday 12/11, Jess and I woke up around 10 and her Mom made a big breakfast (I ate waaay too much) and we watched Stealing Beauty, with Jack inserting hilarious commentary and Jess’ Mom covering her eyes. I think everyone liked it, though I’m not sure. After that was over we drove to her Dad’s so she could get some clothes. After that we headed to Haagens for a birthday cake which took us awhile to figure out but we did and took off back to her Mom’s. We talked about our relationships and how we’re both having the same problem and how it’s karma because it’s what we both did in our past relationships so now we’re being punished. I packed my stuff and took off since they were all going to be going to Everett for Jack’s birthday party. Since it was only about 3:45 (and I was feeling anxious from my talk with Jess) I called B and asked him if I could come over and talk since I’d had a lot of stuff on my mind about us, and he said yes but that he didn’t want to wait. I got there and we talked about everything: compliments, sex, relationship, moving, etc. It was very good and afterward we did some making up, wink wink. Ha, sike, that sounds gross. Um, I took off not too long after for dinner at Mom’s and I was the first there. Grandma is out of the hospital but still a little crazy and told me or Alix, we couldn’t tell who she was talking to, to brush our hair. Hmm. Other than that dinner was pretty standard and I headed home at about 7:45. Susan was up to no good, but we chatted when I got there then I retired to my room for the duration of the evening.
Saturday 12/10, B and I got up not too late, but late enough to go get lunch, so we got ready and headed into Ballard. We went to the Harvest Bread shop and each got a sandwich that we took back to the car to eat since there was no seating available. After that we went to Sonic Boom and I bought some X-Mas gifts, then to little boutique-y type shops for Mom shopping. After we did quite a bit of that I really wanted to see Brokeback Mountain so we went back to his place and checked out movie times, but it hasn’t started playing here yet. Oh well, so I think I laid in bed trying to get warm while he worked on his guitar. He wanted to go to Home Depot so I went with him and got a hot chocolate when I got there and we took the long way home which was nice cause it was sunny out and nice to just be driving in a car enjoying the nice weather. Watched some Arrested Development with Jason when we got back but then went to my house to get some clothes for me cause I was going up to Jess’ house. Got back and I heated up my salty meat and it was delicious, while B made nasty beans, yuck. Jess told me to leave for her house around 9:00 so at about 9:25 I still hadn’t heard from her so I left and started driving up. I beat her up there, and the roads were a little slippery, but her and Day got there not too much later than I did. I sat and talked with Jack for a little while then him and Day left to go sleep in Jack’s 5th Wheel, so Jess and I watched Love Actually and ate two bags of popcorn, and ended up going to bed pretty late.
Friday 12/9, Got off of work early and ran to the drug store and proceeded to spend $50 there when all I really went in for were some tampons and a birthday card. Whoops. I went home and started getting ready cause I thought the birthday dinner was at 7:00 so I got all gussied up and then called Kristel and she informed me that it didn’t start until 8:00 so that was good cause traffic sucked. I finally headed down there and didn’t have any trouble finding it or finding parking and I was one of the first ones to arrive so I chose a seat right next to the birthday girl, prime real estate! It took a while for everyone to get there but while we waited we had yummy appetizers and lots of chit chat so it was fun. By the time we ordered we were all ready for salty meat, and boy did we get it. It was delicious, even though I don’t think I got what I ordered…it was ok, cause what I got was really good and I took a good portion of it home for leftovers (some of Kristel’s too, yum!) The b-day present was a hit, as I was hoping it would be and I chatted briefly with Kristel about the boy issues and we made a dinner date for Tuesday (I’m bringing the egg…oh, and the brownies). It was a fun dinner party and it was nice to see some of the people I haven’t seen in a while and get to chat with some new folks, everyone was really nice. At around 11:45 I noticed that B had called and I was getting tired so I went up and paid my bill while the belly dancer was doin her thang. Headed over to the Zoo to meet B and the roommates and at first I was irritated but then he told me that he missed me and that he had been missing me earlier in the week too (he was slightly intoxicated) so that made me happy and not irritated anymore. We hung out there for a little bit and I talked to Chrystol while the boys played shuffle board and it was nice to have NO CIGARETTE SMOKE to breathe in. Yay for the smoking ban! I may have left the Persian restaurant smelling like delicious onion massaged beef, but that is highly preferable to going home smelling like a nasty ash tray.
Thursday 12/8, I got up around 9:30 and headed home only to get stuck on traffic going across the I-90 bridge at a crawling pace. Hit Albertsons on the way and picked up some baking essentials then home. Susan was there due to a transistor failure or something at work so she kept me company for part of the day and helped do some dusting. I got to work right away baking some cookies for Ken’s birthday and talked to Mom about the jeans I want for Christmas and some other random stuff. After I finished those I got to work cleaning, I cleaned the sink, the downstairs bathroom, swept and mopped the floor and then cleaned my bathroom and rearranged some stuff. I took a much needed shower after that and got ready for the dinner, even though it was only like 1:30. I had some lunch and laid in bed for an hour watching reruns of ANTM from Cycle 3, geez, Yaya should have totally won, not Eva. Yuck. She looks like her name…Pig. Finally it was time for me to pick Jess up from the airport so I took off and hit some traffic along the way and some trouble parking at the airport but I finally figured it out and found Jess waiting down at baggage claim. We loaded up the car and made our way through traffic to my house where she changed and I showed her the place then we took off for Mukilteo. Traffic was really bad by this point and every lane on the freeway was at a stand still. Finally we made it up to the restaurant and we were early so we sat down and the semi-creepy waiter kept talking to us. Finally the rest of the party participants showed up and then Ken got there and was very shocked, so it totally worked and we all had a good time. I thought the food was good but Jessica thought it was just ok. After dinner I was going to take Jess to her Grandma’s house in Everett because her Dad and Linda had brought the little Mercedes and she couldn’t fit. So we went over there but couldn’t find the key to get in so we searched and made calls for about 45 minutes in the freezing cold and finally found out that there isn’t a key outside but that her Mom, Aunt and Grandma were on their way and would be there in 10 minutes so we should go sit on the reindeer on the front lawn to surprise her Grandma. It was pretty funny sitting on this thing and I’m surprised it didn’t collapse from both of us sitting on it…the feet didn’t sink 6 inches into the ground either, surprisingly. When they showed up they just sat in the car in the middle of the cul de sac staring at us, and we just waved and smiled. They finally drove up the driveway past us and her Grandma had the most confused / slightly horrified look on her face. It was pretty funny. I thought I was free and clear to head home at this point (because it was already around 11:00 at this point) but then her Grandma couldn’t find her keys in her purse, so the aunt starts to go through and everyone can hear them, but no one can find them. I think they were stuck in the lining in one of the 35 compartments and we finally got in. I saw the house and noticed that the couches were the exact same ones that I have, except hers are much more comfortable and in better condition. I ended up getting home kind of late and just went to bed instead of to Neighbours. I was just too tired.
Wednesday 12/7, I went over to B’s for the ANTM finale and all of us were huddled in anticipation in front of the tv, only to have Nichole win. Bleh, I hate her, I can’t even talk about it cause it still makes me so upset. It did make me feel better to hear from Susan that on the INDB boards they’re tearing her apart. Yay. Anyway, it was an early night since B still had to get up and work in the morning.
Tuesday 12/6, I was let out of work early and met B at home and we just hung out and watched the tele, ate some dinner and went to bed. I know, I know, does it get more exciting than that? I think not.
Monday 12/5, Took the car in to get fixed in the morning, thankfully it was quick. Did some grocery shopping after work and then just hung out and relaxed at home, though I did take out the trash and do some other minor chores. Watched Arrested Development, and I’m so sad that it won’t be on anymore, I hope a cable network picks it up or something.
Sunday 12/4, Woke up at B’s around 9:00 and went home where I was determined to get some stuff done, only I got distracted / lazy and ended up back in bed for a while. I finally got up and dressed and ran some errands and went and placed my order with Lowe’s for my counters with the help of John, he was very good and extremely nice. After that I went home for a little bit then it was time to head over to Mom’s for dinner and tree decorating fun. I got roped into helping prepare dinner and Kassie brought Austen the dog over and he was very cute but has a little trouble breathing. Um…we ate dinner (sans Grandma since she’s still in the hospital) and then decorated the tree. I got to dish up Jake’s dinner and make sure he ate it all before getting to have brownies, mwhahaha! I’m such an evil sister. I headed home around 8:30 and had missed a show and a half of my regular scheduling, arg! Watched Desperate Housewives and went to bed.
Saturday 12/3, Got up not too early and not too late but I laid in bed for a long time cause I was feeling weird and kind of sad, luckily I hid it from B and by the time he got back into bed he couldn’t tell anything was wrong, or if he could, he didn’t say anything (it all started when he didn’t have anything for me to eat for breakfast). When we finally got up we drove around trying to figure out what to eat for lunch and picked up a Stranger to see when the movie started. We went and had Thai in the U-District and it was very good, then we went home for a bit then headed back out to go see “The Squid and the Whale” which was ok, but not as good as I was expecting from all of the hype. I’m glad it was a matinee price. Then we headed back to my house to do the measuring and stopped back at Mom’s for dinner and Droohv and Akemi came over and we saw their slide show. Went back to B’s and we went to bed with him angry and hot cause he couldn’t find his snowboarding stuff.
Friday 12/2, Went to B’s and we all watched the one hour America’s Funniest Home Videos special. It was good and all of us were in hysterics watching it. I think everyone went to bed not long after that. If we did anything else, I can’t remember what it was.
Thursday 12/1, Here comes the SNOW! It started snowing while I was at work but wasn’t sticking, which was a relief. I got home and showered and prepped for Neighbours then Susan and I made our dinners at the same time and enjoyed a Hawaiian version of Landscapers Challenge, ooh la la. Then I took off for B’s and it had started back up with the snowing. Got to B’s with no problems on the freeway, surprisingly, and just hung with the gang in the living room. Chrystol took some interesting photos of the boys but I only got to see a few of the negatives…I want to see that contact sheet! B helped me figure out how many square feet I have for my counters…52…yikes, at $58 per square foot, that’s a lot of f-ing money. Not including tax mind you. I don’t really want to think about it at the moment. Moving on…so we hung out with those crazy kids and then B had to go to bed so I talked a little more and then left for the lot. I was dreading seeing the bouncer since he made Susan give him a hug last week, but luckily when we went up he was on the other side of the rope so he couldn’t come close enough to us. We went in and went upstairs like usual, but it was pretty dead, I’m guessing from the freezing ass weather and snow, so we just hung out up there, though they were playing really good songs, but it was just too early to go out there. Finally we decided to check our stuff and go dance. Had a few good songs but Susan had to go to the bathroom but I swear I saw Bouncer bf go into the men’s room, so I came back out of the ladies and spotted him and ran into him and he was all, “I’m so sorry…Hey!” cause he didn’t recognize me at first or something. He gave me a huge bear hug and said he really liked my hair and that the gf had dragged him there and that you know, since he “Couldn’t wait around forever” for me, ha, I was all “Yeah, you gotta move on” wink wink. It was funny, so then he went upstairs and I went and found Susan and told her, so then she wanted to go upstairs and say hi too, but I was nervous about his gf, she seems like she could throw down but Susan was all “Nonsense! Let’s go!” so we talked to him for a bit about the new bouncer and Susan flying off the mechanical bull and suing but letting bf in on a piece of the action if he can really throw her off of it, funny. We got some dirt on the new bouncer, who I told bf he needed to protect me from. A good song came on so we went to dance and did that for a long time since most of the music was good. Blondie and Bun were entertaining as ever, then Blue Shirt showed up and started humping a girl against the mirrored pillar and she was totally into it and wanted more, YUCK! Then this guy in a cream Tommy Hilfiger sweater turtleneck was hitting on him but then they started commiserating and pretty soon they were both on the floor with “Turtleneck” egging him on. So Turtleneck spots us and motions for Blue Shirt to come up to us, but Blue Shirt knows better, and both Susan and I are like, NO WAY, but then Turtleneck comes over and is like “No, my friend is straight” and I said, “I know, we don’t like him” and he started laughing really hard and went back over to dance with Blue Shirt. Ha, dissed. Thomas and Ely finally showed up so not too much after that I decided to take off, so I went up to say bye to bf and he was drunk and gave me a big sloppy hug and was mumbling things but I couldn’t hear/understand any of them, so I was telling him it was nice to see him once in a while and that he should come by more regularly. He asked where my bf was and I told him he doesn’t come to Neighbours, then his gf comes over and is like “Baby, where are those coin things at?” or balls or something, and he gave her a response, then after she walked away he made a face like, “She’s trying to do something and I think it’s stupid” and he says to me after she’s out of ear shot, “Too little, too late, that’s all I’m going to say. That’s all I’m going to say” and then gives me another sloppy hug. I was just trying to get out of there at that point cause I didn’t want gf to kick my ass. So I escaped from his clutches and told him I’d see him around and he smiled so I left and got Susan who walked with me to get my coat. Then I had to face the new bouncer by myself and he wall all “Bye sweetheart” and touched my back, yuck, but I was nice, like “Ok, see you next week!” Bleh. Ran to the car and didn’t have problems til I hit the off ramp which was snowed over but made it home fine and into bed. Him dogging his gf secretly made me happy…what a bad bf, I wouldn’t like it if B said something like that to some girl.
Wednesday 11/30, Hmm…just watched the usual HGTV shows and B wanted me to come over and watch ANTM but I already had my pjs on so Susan and I just watched it down in the living room and were both sooo glad when Jayla got kicked off. She just didn’t deserve to be there and it was way past due for her to hit the road. Then I talked to Dad for a while on the phone about my kitchen counters cause I had measured those out earlier in the evening.
