Sunday 1/29, I had wanted to go see some open houses on Sunday so it’s kind of what we planned to do. We got up very late, like 11:30 cause B wouldn’t get up when I tried to wake him up around 9:30, so we got dressed and went to Kidd Valley for lunch. Then we headed to the first house. It was in Ravenna, $899,999, 3 bedrooms plus a den, 2 bath and a room ready to be plumbed for a third. It was the favorite of both B and mine for the day. The kitchen was magnificent, we both loved it. I’m really glad that we have similar taste and both really liked some of the same elements, it gives me faith that I could live with him…but we’ll see. Off we headed to the second house that was in a much swankier neighborhood: Madrona, $1.5m 4 bedrooms, 4 bath (I think…). It was more pretentious than the previous and B said it just felt like “a rich person lived there” and that nothing was that fabulous or unique about it. Again we both agreed on the elements we liked about it. The last one was one my aunt was holding in Green Lake so we went over there, visited her and my uncle, and saw the house: Green Lake, $719,000, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath. We both liked the deck on the front that you could see the lake from but it needed a lot of work, or just some tlc. We sat there chatting with them for a long time and got an extensive tour then headed back to B’s. I kind of fell asleep on his bed while he looked at things on the internet. Then he made cornbread and we talked in bed for awhile about the houses and things, then we made reservations for Valentine’s Day at Café Campagne after some trouble with the Stumbling Goat and the Palisades. I left not too long after and did some laundry and started the packing process. My room is a mess and I hope to have some of it cleaned before I leave on my week long adventure with the bf.

Saturday 1/28, A much more eventful day filled with all sorts of exciting things happening. I got up and B and I had breakfast before it was time for me to go over to Kassie’s for my massage. Got there and we chatted for a little bit then got started on the massaging. It felt really good, but kind of hurt during a couple of parts (I wasn’t sore afterward like I usually am, yay!) then I showered and we both got ready and hit the road for a day of shopping. First we hit La Femme up on Queen Anne and I got some new jeans and two cute shirts. The girls there were very helpful and giving me tips on what to do dress-wise. Then we went down into Ballard and checked some shops but we had more fun furniture shopping than we did with the clothes and shoes. Then we hit Café Besalu and I had delicious quiche with spinach bacon and some form of onion, and a Pain au Chocolat for dessert. Then it was time to hit downtown, we made a couple of stops but didn’t turn anything up. Then we went to Tulip where we both hit the jackpot. I got 2 more sexy shirts and a little jacket (Kassie “that is a great layering piece”). We went to a few more stores but since we had both met our limit neither of us purchased anything further and we headed back to her house. I stayed for a few minutes before going back over to B’s. I showed him my clothes and he thought most of them were “interesting” and only really liked one thing I got. Whatever. Everyone wanted to go out for dinner so we decided to go to some Indian place in Ballard, but luckily there was a 35 minute wait. On the car ride in we all shared our same-sex sex-dreams and heard a really good one from Schulyer. All of the places we tried to go to had similar wait times until we got to Than Brothers Pho so we decided that that was good. I got the chicken and it was pretty good. I managed to eat the whole thing with my soup spoon despite B telling me I was doing it wrong the whole time. He had a little bit of a superiority complex that night. We headed back to their house but stopped at the Durn Good Grocery on the way and I wanted to get a choco taco, but instantly got visions from a conversation the boys had had once and decided on the Klondike ice cream cookie sandwich. We watched Elizabeth (sans Chrystol) then turned in.

Friday 1/27, I went home after work and relaxed for awhile, showered, ate dinner and headed off to B’s house. I think all of the roommates all just talked in the living room and watched an episode of X-Files, yeah, the one with the guy from “Monk” and how his shadow kills people. Then it was time to go to Comeback (it was about 10:15), but I was already tired and exhausted before I even got there, so it wasn’t looking good. I parked on the same street that we parked on last time and Susan and I ran up to Chop Suey. We got there and right away I spotted Neil and his bf and Susan saw Lance, then we just people watched and walked around. We kind of stuck to the back corner and eventually saw Thomas and Ely and the gang. Neil left not too long after we got there and I didn’t have a chance to say hi. I started getting kind of crampy so I called it a night around 12:45, ran back down to my car in the pouring rain, and drove back to B’s like a bat out of hell. Highlights:
· DJ Fucking in the Streets is hot
· DJ Porq is hot, though I can’t find him on myspace, damn
· The many many enormous pictures of naked men and gay porn covering the walls
· Susan seeing one of the staff members break up some gay sex in the bathroom

Some exciting news...

Thursday 1/26, Talked to the people at Alaska to see what happened with the ticket and the woman said that the partner airline hadn’t released any seats and that I could try back later, but to not expect to get very far in the process. So I am now just going to bite the bullet and make the flight reservations through Delta for $900. This sucks, I got all pumped up for my free ticket, now I’m back to square one and paying full price for a ticket. Triple damn. B came over after work which was nice because I hadn’t seen him since last Friday. We messed around then took a shower and got dressed. He heard back from some of the schools he applied to: He didn’t get into Boston College, but did get into Northeastern and Maryland, and is wait listed for Temple. He still needs to hear back from Connecticut, Minnesota, and SU. So to celebrate I took him to dinner. We went to the Three Pigs or something over by Whole Foods, since he loves BBQ then we went to DQ for dessert. I had an Oreo blizzard, yum. We went home and I cleaned up the kitchen a little but I think my counters might be stained or something from something that was left on them. I have to get some Simple Green and try to get it off. We watched some tv: OC and SatC then went to bed. I slept like shit.

Wednesday 1/25, Didn’t get the ticket (double damn) and then rushed out to go do some extra work. Got home around 8:00 pm, ate dinner then watched American Idol, showered and watched Celebrity Fit Club before going to sleep.

Tuesday 1/24, Just hung out at home…no word on the Alaska ticket (damn). That’s all I think…not a very exciting evening.

Monday 1/23, Susan and I made dinner and watched Mr and Mrs Smith. After I finished my dinner, I proceeded to eat an apple, bowl of ice cream and ¾ bag of popcorn. Shame on me. It was all very delicious though, so I can’t have too many regrets. Susan and I concluded that both Brad and Angelina are extremely hot. After the movie I called Kassie and we decided to book the timeshare in St. Martin / St. Maarten, so I went online and did it. I was so nervous but it went fine and then I called Peggy to let her know so she wouldn’t delete the confirmation email they would send her. I then went to Alaska to request a free ticket through miles to St. Martin but was told I had to wait 48 hours for them to get back to me. Went to bed and had a crazy make out dream with Craig in it. It was hot and I cherish it because I know it would never (ever) happen in real life.

I heart my friends!

Sunday 1/22, I didn’t really get out of bed until the afternoon so I spent the majority of the morning laying in bed and playing on my computer. I watched some SatC, did some reading and listened to music. Around 3:00 I got dressed and went to the bank, BB&B and Safeway. I got some kitchen stuff at BB&B and did my shopping for the week at Safeway because it was right there. I went home and watched tv until it was time to go over to Mom’s for dinner. When I got there she informed me that it was running about 45 minutes behind schedule, so I took my Martha Stewart Weddings and sat in the living room and read until Kassie got there. We had dinner and it was really good, roast with mashed potatoes and green beans with brownies for dessert. YUM. Then Kassie and I went online and looked at the time share options. I made it home just in time for Desperate Housewives then read before going to bed.

Saturday 1/21, I woke up around 9:00 and read for a little while in B’s bed (he had had to get up early and go to work at 6:30) then took off to go home. I showered and settled onto my bed and began the process of reorganizing all of my bills / statements from the last 3 years by vendor and then by year. It was huge and I’m still not done, I got burnt out but completed the majority of it. I watched Cold Mountain while I did it and even though I didn’t pay that close attention while I was organizing, sure enough at the end I started crying, like I always do. You’d think that after seeing it 25 times the effect would wear off, but it hasn’t. I kind of napped a little bit and before I knew it it was time to get ready to go to PF Changs to meet with my very good friend Kay-See. Since I got there a little early I went over to Nordstrom and picked up an eye shadow from MAC to replace one that has mysteriously gone missing. After that I went over to PF Changs and checked us in and got our table. Kay-See showed up not too long after and then Sarah showed up as well so we chatted and ate and chatted some more. It was a lot of fun, but I ate way too much. Reminder to self, no matter how good of an idea it seems at the time, never polish off all of your moo-shu pork. Never. Ok, so then we walked over to the Lincoln Square and looked around for a minute and found out that Walk the Line was playing at the Galleria in 30 minutes so we trekked over. While we were walking I felt something with the consistency of a picture in my pocket, and sure enough when I pulled it out it was the picture of B that I had laughed at hysterically the night before. Chrystol must have made another copy put it in my pocket knowing I would come across it at some point. We stopped at Starbucks for me to get a treat and then walked over to the theatre. We initially went into the wrong theater but finally got the right one. It was a very good movie and it was funny because Sarah’s parents were there to see it too so they sat behind us. I think Joaquin Phoenix is so sexy and I would love to see it again just to stare at that scar. Mmmmm, Joaquin. Then we talked about lesbian sex dreams, cause I had had one about Liv Tyler and not knowing what to do with a boob, cause I’ve never, you know, sucked on one. Apparently I’m not the only one having lesbian dreams, and if you’re not having them it means that you really are one. So I guess I’m in the clear. Phew. We walked back to Bellevue Square and took the elevator to our cars. I zipped home and went to sleep. Good times.
Friday 1/20, At work we had our annual employee lunch at Rover’s and despite my fears, everything was very good. I had an onion tart to start with and guinea fowl for my entrée. Though I wasn’t stuffed, I felt very satisfied when we left…those French, they’re doing something right. We got back to the office around 3:15 and I had the rest of the afternoon off so I went to my house and got my things then headed off to B’s. Didn’t take too long but I was all excited when I got there because I wanted to get out in the sunshine and do some cd shopping, but B had to complete his loan information and tax return stuff first. He ended up owing money (he was pissed) and finishing the loan stuff I think, then I dragged him out. We hit Sonic Boom in Ballard and I only spent about $50, but unfortunately bought two singles I already have. I HAVE to start carrying a list of what I own. Um…then we went and returned his video to Scarecrow and hit Trader Joe’s to get some dinner. We got a lasagna cause I wasn’t all that hungry and we just hung out for the evening talking with Chrystol and Schuyler for a little bit. Chrystol had printed some of the gay pictures that she had taken off the boys, and they were hilarious, very homo-erotic. The one of B I couldn't even look at because it was so hilariously "gay escort".

Thursday 1/19, I got ready for the evening of dancing and headed to B’s. Hung out in the living room with the roommates and watched as Jason stuffed two very large balloons under his shirt. The ends were even placed very well to look like nipples…I have pictures of this and they are hilarious. I left early because B had to go to sleep at 9:30 so I called Kristel on the way but she didn’t answer. I ended up sitting in the parking garage for like 40 minutes before Susan got there. I was very tired and cold at this point. I didn’t want to go in, but we did and it was fairly empty. There were some couples doing choreographed dancing, then this guy that Susan thought was Craig started doing these crazy dance moves and took off his shirt only to reveal a tight black lace shirt underneath. Yikes. We went down and danced to a couple of songs with our sweatshirts on, then went and checked them. No bouncer bf despite all of my hoping, saw Kyle and his stupid bf, and eventually saw Craig for a minute, but he like dissed me or something until I said I was leaving, then he was all smiles. Weird. I’m trying this new thing with the bouncer, being really nice and flirty cause I imagine that it can’t be bad to be nice to him…only good can come of it, right? Let’s hope so. Susan and I both left at about 12:45 and headed home.

Thursday, January 19, 2006

Wednesday 1/18, I set the alarm for B to get up early, but forgot to turn it on, whoops. We woke up at 7:20 when he was supposed to be up at 6:45, I felt terrible. After work I did some laundry and lounged until it was time to go to B’s. Susan was gone so I had the house to myself for a little while. I made some pasta for dinner and watched more SaTC (Season 4, Carrie and Aidan just got back together!). I finally put a little makeup on and headed out the door at 7:15. At B’s we just laid on his bed and talked, then Chrystol and Schuyler were in the hall laughing at the prospect of walking in on B an I making out without my shirt on and how our conversation would go. We had some cheesecake cause it was Jason’s birthday, yum. I left B’s at 9:10 and headed down to the Crocodile for Jason’s show. I found parking about 2.5 blocks away and all my posse was there waiting for me so that was good. Some guy named Ryan was staring at me so I was like “HI!” cause it was freaking me out, then he was all “You look familiar, do I know you?” I said I didn’t think so, then he asked me if my name was Katie, I said no it was Karrah, then he said I look like a Kate. He also asked me if I was in some band, but I, of course, am not. He was kind of cute and if I didn’t have a bf I might have thought he was cute, but I do, so I didn’t. He had his labret pierced though, that’s kind of hot. Talked to Richrd for quite a while and chatted with Jason for a few minutes, then went in for the show. I don’t think his microphone cord was long enough to reach us, which was good, so he sang to some other people for a change. Saw Alex and Amber, Roy, Jeremiah and Steve’s mom grinding on his dad, it was pretty funny. Last night’s show was probably the best that I’ve ever seen of his, though he didn’t crack his head open, so it was an automatic disappointment for Richrd. We talked to Jason for a minute after the set and he came down to talk to us (I think it made all of his groupies jealous) and gave us a hug. We all agree we should do lunch at PF Changs soon. Then we headed out and I drove home, showered and hit the sack after watching one final episode before bed.

Tuesday 1/17, B came over after work so we had a little “play time” then made some dinner and watched the usual “before 8:00” line-up. Watching House Hunters, B informed Susan and me that a truly great nautical-themed bathroom would include “big-titty” everything. Big-titty dolphin, big-titty lobster pinching it’s red nipples with giant red claws, big-titty turtle with boob-less bustier, etc. That made Susan and I laugh and try to figure out things that couldn’t have big titties, like algae, which B informed us isn’t an animal, so it didn’t count. Then we went upstairs and I watched some SaTC while he played on the computer.

Monday 1/16, Martin Luther King Jr Day, and I was getting up at 5:50 to go to work and take Peggy to the airport. Oh well, I needed to make up some hours since the countertop guys were coming and I had to miss work to be there. The last piece went in without any trouble and it only took about 15 minutes, yay! So I dashed back to work and managed to not miss too much time. After work I went to the store then home and into bed. I finished watching Edward Scissorhands and didn’t realize that it’s so depressing. I thought it ended differently, oh well, the only time I saw the whole thing was on the bus ride from Madrid to Barcelona, so it was in Spanish. I must’ve fallen asleep through the end or something, but now I’ve seen the whole thing and like it, but it’s still sad. Then I made dinner and Susan and I sat in the kitchen and talked and joked then watched House Hunters. We both turned in after that and I watched part of the Golden Globes before going to sleep. I was so glad that Brokeback Mountain won as many awards as it did. Except every time they played the theme song it made me want to cry and definitely want to see it again. Maybe I’ll try to see it this weekend with Kassie, if her schedule permits.

I feel so accomplished...

Sunday 1/15, B got up earlier than me to go play video games then when I got up we went to the store to get breakfast items. B cleaned the kitchen for his chore and then we set off to get some lunch at Kiku and headed to the Crest for Jarhead. It was a very good movie, but very sad and kind of depressing. It makes you realize how destructive war is and how it’s very difficult to reintroduce people who are trained only to kill back into “normal” society. It was good but I definitely didn’t leave with a warm fuzzy feeling in my stomach. Except from seeing Jake Gyllenhaal’s butt on numerous occasions. That part was ok. We went back to his house and hung out, I took a nap then it was time for me to head to Mom’s for dinner. That was good but since I had to get up early on Monday and I was tired from my nap I didn’t want to stay and watch Mad Hot Ballroom. It’s too hard to do a movie after dinner on my weekend. Plus I wanted to get home and watch Extreme Makeover and Desperate Housewives, so I did. I also picked up that hope chest and brought it home and positioned it at the end of my bed so that felt like I was accomplishing something. Then I went to bed.

Saturday 1/14, Got up semi-early to get home and prep for B’s roommates to come over for the playoff game. We got quite a bit done in a short amount of time. We both ate some breakfast then got the railing put back up, B hung two mirrors, I cleaned the bathroom and swept the downstairs and entryway stairs, vacuumed my room and the living room, B took a bunch of crap down to the garage, I took out the garbage and prepped the kitchen. Then I showered and got ready. It felt good to get so much accomplished in such a short amount of time. I still have a list of things I want B to help me with so we’ll see how long it takes to get that stuff done. Then his roommates showed up and started unloading all of their goods, and there was a lot of goods to unload, then we settled in to watch the game. It was actually a lot of fun, it helps that the Seahawks won, but Chrystol and I read magazines on and off, I baked some cookies, we all ate a ton of shitty food and it was glorious. I think Jason is even warming up to me, I think he thinks it’s funny when I bust B’s chops. They all seemed to think that my house was nice so that was good and Chrystol said that the kitchen was easy to clean up. We hung out after the game was over and watched the end of The Saint then headed back to B’s cause the two of us were going to try and catch the 7:15 showing of Jarhead. We didn’t make it so we hung out at his house instead and watched more tv and finally turned in fairly early.

Friday 1/13, Talked to Bill at the countertop place and they are scheduled to come back out on Monday morning to finish the job. So I have to take more time off of work waiting around for them, since they tell me they’ll be there between 10:00 and 1:00. And no, they cannot be more specific. Hung around at home eating dinner and watching House Hunters with Susan before going to B’s for the night. We watched an episode of X-Files with the roommates and then went to bed.

The joys of remodeling and homeownership...

Thursday 1/12, Ran lots of errands at work so I didn’t spend much time in the office, it was a nice change of pace. On the way home from work I managed to psych myself up and decided to do some painting on the stairs. When I got home I changed into my painting clothes and talked to Susan while I detached the railing from the wall. This is the portion of the stairwell I have been avoiding doing for quite a while. While I was doing that Zeph called so I talked to him for quite a while. I had to call Susan to come out and help me at one point cause the railing wasn’t coming off in pieces like I hoped it would, so she had to hold it while I unscrewed all of the brackets all the way down the stairs. I got quite a bit of painting done but since it was really dark I’m expecting to have to do some major touchups when I see it in the light. I made some of the chicken Peggy and Jim gave me and it was ok, but I think needs to be cooked at a higher temperature, reminder for next time. Then it was time to clean the kitchen: dusty silverware, nasty drawers and lots of unloading and reloading of the dishwasher. I accomplished quite a bit for being as exhausted as I was from my day. Talked to Alishia while I did it and then it was time to relax so I sat in my room and watched tv and played on my computer. Talked briefly to B before OC came on, took a shower and snuggled on into my comfy bed. Marissa is back at Harbour, yay! I watched the last episode of Season 3 of SaTC before going to sleep.

Wednesday 1/11, I had to get up early like I was going to work this morning even though I wasn’t going to because the countertop guys were coming between 8:00 and 11:00. They showed up around 9:15 and started plugging away. Everything went fine except that the back corner piece had the decorative lip on the side against the stove so it was too big to fit in the spot. So they have to take it back and fix it, so after all of this hoopla, it’s still not done. AUGH. Oh well, at least everything else went fine. They even tested the sink to make sure it fits (it does) and washed the counters down for me. They look really good so I’m very excited. Got to work around 1:00 so missed half of the day. When I got home I waited around for about an hour until B got there. We started dealing with the plumbers putty and the sink and were soon snapping at each other and blaming the other for things not going right. We had to saw out part of the sink basin and put the sink in twice before we got it to fit properly. But of course, after we got everything in and the water hooked back up and turned on, there was no water pressure coming out of the faucet. B ended up dismantling the entire faucet to try and clear whatever was blocking the flow of water. We didn’t figure it out but did manage to get more water to come out, even if it’s not very forcefully. After cleaning up all of the putty and the build up of dishes that had accumulated we sat down and watched some tv. Talked to Dad a few times about everything, then we headed upstairs to shower and hit the sack.

Tuesday 1/10, B came over after work and we watched tv in the living room and just hung out. I made curry for dinner with basmati rice and then we ripped the sink out of the kitchen. It took much longer than I had hoped because we had to do some drilling of wood and more construction stuff after pulling everything out. Oh well, it got done and it should be fairly easy to put back together.

Monday 1/9, Went to the store after work and got some food then went home and relaxed. Talked to Kassie and Zeph on the phone. Zeph and I had a long conversation and it was really good, we mostly talked about Kassie so that was fun. Then I called B and went to bed. After watching a few episodes of SaTC of course.

Sick weekend

Sunday 1/8, B came over in the early afternoon and we went to Lowe’s to get supplies for the kitchen and worked on that for a while. We were both kind of upset about the process and he almost left in a huff but we talked about it and just hugged for like 10 minutes, it felt really good. He’s a good guy. So he had forgotten his boots at home so he went home instead of staying the night. That was probably better because it was Alix’s birthday and we were having a family birthday party over at Mom’s. I went over there and that was fun and dinner was good, but was still not feeling well so I just wanted to get home. Watched Desperate Housewives and went to bed with the help of a lovely Benedryl.

Saturday 1/7, The day was kind of so-so, we went to some little Mexican place kind of by B’s house then back to my house to watch movies (Limbo) in the living room. I was feeling shitty all day so we just lounged around. B went home and I spent the night by myself.

Friday 1/6, I went home and fell asleep but woke up when B got there around 8:00, then managed to fall back asleep at some point but woke up around 10:00 when my Mom called. Then I, of course, went back to sleep. I was sick.

First week of the year...

Thursday 1/5, went to B’s right after work and we went to that Kikasu place where I had the gift certificates to, so we ate there and it was ok, nothing I would have wanted to pay actual money for. After we got back I showed B what I had found through my extensive research and we talked about that pretty much until I had to go. Zeph called and asked where I was at cause I thought he was going to watch the movie with us (Chelsea had to work til 10:30 so she couldn’t watch it with us) but when I got there he wasn’t there. I had major clean up to do cause I’m hemorrhaging and Kassie was lovely enough to lend me some large white “period panties” so that was nice. We talked with her roommate Ayshell (sp?) for a long time and Kassie wanted her to call Zeph and ask him if he masturbates and Ayshell wants Kassie to deflower him. So we had some laughs and then Ayshell left and we started the movie. About 45 minutes in Zeph called and said he was coming over, so we paused it and filled him in on what had happened so far and it was right at the spanking part so he was like, “What the hell is this?” but in the end I think everyone liked it. I got out of there not too much later cause it was 12:30 so I said my goodbyes and headed out.

Wednesday 1/4, hung out after work and did some research on apartments and cities until I had to pick Susan up at the airport at 11:00 then went to bed.

Tuesday 1/3, had to leave work to go to my appointment and she put me on a 7 day treatment so by the time I’m done with this whole thing it will have been like a week and a half that I’ve been sick. GREAT! This sucks. Anyway, after work B came over and we went to Mom’s for dinner. Kassie got mad at me on the phone for my conversation with Zeph, oh well, I think I cleared things up though. Um, so we did presents at Mom’s cause Alix was back and she got me Finding Neverland but I had just bought it 2 days ago, so I gave it back to her as a birthday present. B liked the hat and I think Alix liked her stuff. Some things came out about Trisha and things she said about Mom so Grandma didn’t want to see her and Kassie doesn’t either. I don’t care to see her, but I’m afraid of what AL is going to say about it and that she’s going to be mad. I guess we’ll see. So anyway, we went back to my house and relaxed and went to bed I think.

Monday 1/2, I was feeling much better and pretty frisky so B and I took a shower and then messed around, only to have my yeast infection return after he left. So I called the doctor and made an appointment for Thursday, but it got worse throughout the day so I called back and got an appointment for the next day. I just laid in bed all day watching movies and tv. That’s about it.
Sunday 1/1, B and I slept in a little then went and ran some errands. He was sweet enough to humor me and go with me to all of my stops. First was Schuck’s for car supplies, then down to Whole Foods for candied walnuts, then to Best Buy for some DVDs and finally to Home Depot for primer and another large storage bin. We picked up a pizza at Larry’s and went home and ate. B was supposed to help me get a bunch of stuff done, but he didn’t and instead watched tv, I guess I just have to crack the whip more. My whole plan for the evening was shot to hell because of the yeast infection but I still made dinner, though I overcooked the chicken but the rest was good. It was kind of romantic too, then we had some ice cream and watched Sex and Lucia. We went to bed after that.

Saturday 12/31, Talked to B in the late morning and he said he would come over and bring me lunch since I was just going to lay in bed. He brought sandwiches and we laid in bed together all day until it was time to get ready for the New Year’s party. I got ready and we went to Kidd Valley by his house for dinner then sat in the living room watching “A Knight’s Tale” with Sky and Jason. Zeph called to see what I was doing cause he was over at Kassie’s watching Little House on the Prairie so we chatted for a few minutes about each other’s plans then it was time for us to go to the party. Jason, B and I piled into B’s car and went to the store then to Jesse’s house. Met some people cause I didn’t want to play the drinking game, let’s see there were Kevin and Hans first, after I had chatted with Jesse, then later in the evening I talked with Brad for a long time about art and art history, that was nice. If he didn’t have a gf and I didn’t have B, I probably would have had a crush. Talked with Diana for a little bit then Jason cause B and Sam went to the store. B had to drink the large cup of beer in the game so he was getting drunk so I knew I was going to have to drive. Mildred showed up and walked by me 3 times and didn’t even make eye contact 2 of the times, oh well, so I didn’t even get introduced to her. At least I looked good, if not understated. Finally the ball dropped and B was across the room yelling with Sam and finally he came over and kissed me so that was fun, then some Brit went around the room kissing everyone and was like “Sorry mate, I’m international” and he really liked Jason’s ROWDY hat and was like, “This is my guy. He’s a good guy, you can tell!”. We left not too much later and again that guy was like “ROWDY! You’re my man!” all the way to the car we could hear him. We dropped Jason off and then went back to my house and went to bed, but not before Zeph called me again and called me an old lady for being home so early. I’ll leave out the rest of the conversation.

Friday 12/30, Had to get up waaay too early to let the counter top guy in to do the template. He got it done by a little after 10 while I sat on the couch, wrapped in blankets, watching tv and playing on my computer. After he left, I showered and got ready to go do all of my errands. Went to Nordstrom Rack to buy some new undies and while I was buying them I saw Nic so we went and “did coffee” for about 45 minutes. The checkout lady at NR was like "I wondered why he was acting so weird. Men!" It was good to catch up and was only initially awkward, so that was good. After that I went to Lowe’s and got some storage stuff like a toolbox and storage bin for random crap in the garage. Then to PCC where I picked up fixins for the dinner I was preparing for B and I on Sunday night. After that it was to the regular store and then home. After I put my stuff away I laid in bed and decided not to do anything but watch tv and nap for the rest of the afternoon. And that’s exactly what I did. (I forgot to mention in previous post that on Wednesday two Mormons showed up at the door and wouldn’t take “no” for an answer. They’re lucky I didn’t sic Susan on them.) I took Susan to the airport around 7:00 then went home to get Happy Endings to watch at Mom’s. Since I hadn’t heard from B throughout the whole day I was a little irritated and turned my phone off during the movie so that if he tried to call I wouldn’t be available just like him. After the movie Mom and I talked for awhile and then I left to go home. Before I could get off of Mercer Is. I got pulled over for having my license plate lights out and got a warning. When I got home I realized that something just wasn’t “right” downstairs and lo and behold, I have a yeast infection. I’ve planned this whole dinner / date thing with B for Sunday and I have a fucking yeast infection, on top of that he didn’t call me all day so I was sad, mad, disappointed and most of all itchy. So I just laid in bed for about 45 minutes and cried. At about 12:30 I decided to get up and go to Walgreens since I know they’re open 24 hours so I did that and came home. I was very upset.

Thursday 12/29, B and I got up early to go down to Bremerton where we hit his Grandma’s first and talked about plants and things. Stayed there for a little bit then headed to his other Grandma’s house where we were meeting up with his Mom and Aunt for a lunch date. He got some more presents and then we headed to Azteca for lunch. After lunch we hung out at G-Ma’s for a little while longer then headed back to my house cause I needed to get my kitchen ready for the template guys so we got the upper counter off and I cleared the rest of the shit off of it and we got the island drilled into the wall, job well done by my Sweets. I got my stuff ready and we took off back to his house where we hung out with Sky, Chrystol and Jason upstairs watching tv and making jokes. It was fun, but then it was time for me to go get ready to go to Neighbours. It was kind of a busy night which I tend not to like and this one was no different, some stupid frat guy spilled shit all over me and then started touching me and blaming someone else, but I told him off pretty well, but he still didn’t get it so Susan yelled at him. That was pretty hilarious. Nothing really monumental happened, though I did see Neil and Kyle and said hi and got some hugs so that was nice, otherwise it was kind of blah and I got out of there not too late.

Wednesday 12/28, went to B’s after I ate some dinner at home. We watched Jeopardy for a little bit then it was time to go pick Sam up at the airport so we did that and it was a mess. Picked him up and then headed to Diana’s where he was staying. We hung out there for a little bit and then went back to his house with me feeling a little insecure and went to bed.

Tuesday 12/27, got up in the morning and started getting ready to depart. B and I were taking Alishia down and I was going to take her to the airport. So I dropped her off and headed home where I waited for B. When he got there we went and got some Chinese food and then ran some errands and went to Lowe’s to figure out what I was supposed to do with my counters for the template to be made. I think we just hung out for the rest of the day since I had to work the next day.

Monday 12/26, we all got up and had some yummy breakfast then figured out which movies everyone wanted to see. Kassie and I decided to go shopping and do some exchanging and catch a later movie (Rumor Has It, it was ok). We hit Costco and then went downtown and ate at the Food Coop then to Greenhouse where I picked up some sale items. We went in some other stores and headed over to our theater. After the movie we got home and the only other ones who got to see their movie were the boys who saw Syriana, Brandon is the only one who liked it or got it or something. Dinner was planned for early, but it ended up being kind of late again, and Jan and Kelly came too. After dinner we had cheesecake and a White Elephant party and got some really hilarious prizes, though I made out with a box of Sees candies, B got some shitty cocoa mix in a mini-milk carton. We watched Jackass with Uncle Brad until it was time for bed.

X-Mas

Sunday 12/25, both B and I got up early to head to our respective parents houses. I was the first to Mom’s and Kassie and Alishia showed up next, and lastly G and G. We ate breakfast, there was a ton of yummy food, and then opened the gifts. There weren’t too many because we had all opened our large gift before the trip. Grandma handed out a bunch of towels and I got some cute tomato ones and also some X-Mas-y ones. Then it was time to head up to B-Ham but we had to stop at Kassie’s to pick up the present for Mom that she had forgotten, so we did that and made our way up. Finally got there and did the hugs and kisses and everything, then got started. Got a lot of loot but the highlight was the digital camera from Mom and Dad, the belt from Kassie, and when B showed up the new coat he got me. It was a very good Christmas. Everyone just munched all day cause there was a ton of food to be had, and dinner was going to be late. Everyone just bummed around and played with the new presents until it was time to play the “Name that Christmas Song” game. I only got like 3 or something so I didn’t win anything, but Zeph did call me during the game cause Kassie hadn’t picked up her phone so that was a bit of a treat even though I didn’t talk to him for very long. Finally B showed up around 7:00 or so, so we exchanged our gifts and I think he liked his slippers, but I’m not sure cause he hasn’t been wearing them as much as I would expect, oh well. His parents got me a shit load of stuff and one of those fun roosters that I love. He also got me some black and pink Sorrels though I’m not sure where I’m going to wear them, like do I wear them around the city? Bellevue on the way to the mall? To the grocery store in Issaquah? I guess when it’s really cold I’ll wear them, cause they’re super warm. Ok, so after we did gifts it was time for dinner and we had prime rib and it was delicious and then dessert was cookies and cream puffs and the like. Big day with lots of fun.
