Sunday 2/26, B and I woke up and for once he was the one who woke up feeling riled up and we discussed our “Free 5” of both genders. On my guy list: Jake Gyllenhaal, Joaquin Phoenix, Jude Law, Brad Pitt and Luke Wilson (who may get replaced, I’m not sure yet) and on my girl list: Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johanson and Angelina Jolie. On B’s girl list: Tyra Banks (huh?), Uma Thurman, Sienna Miller, Zooey Deschanel and that girl from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. On his boy list: Brad Pitt, Jude Law, Joaquin Phoenix, George Clooney and Christian Bale. We got up, ate breakfast and headed on our way to my house to organize and clean out the garage. We did quite a bit and B cut a bunch of that wood and shit down and dumped it in the dumpster. It was pretty great, but I still need to go to Lowe’s and get more storage bins to put the rest of that shit in. We tried to go get lunch and ended up settling on a Mexican place by Dania then B showed me where he works, then we went to Dania and were told that they didn’t have the cd shelves in stock and I was pissed, so we went back to my house and watched more SatC before leaving around 6:00 to go to Mom’s for dinner and B went home. Dinner was fine, we had a conversation about me moving and B’s decisions with law school, though it wasn’t very helpful. I did some grocery shopping before heading home and settling in for the evening.

Saturday 2/25, I got up around 8:30 and got ready for the day. I hit Costco first and bought those pots and pans I had been eyeing earlier in the week. They were very heavy. Then I went to Lowe’s to return that stupid doorbell, so I got a better one, some plastic for when B and I organize the garage and some new wood utensils for my new pans so they don’t get scratched up. Then I drove over to the bank to deposit a check before returning home. Once there I met Alex and installed the whole doorbell by myself, though the button is a little shaky on account of the stupid screw stripping out before I could screw it in tightly. Oh well, at least it worked (until B came over the next day, then it didn’t work so well…damn!) and I felt very proud of myself. I hung out in my bedroom for a little while until it was time to go to Kristel’s. We went over to Dania to look at the couch I’m in love with and I also ended up falling in love with some barstools and almost bought some cd towers, but concluded that they might not fit in my car and resolved to return with B the next day so he could help me. While at Dania, Kristel and I managed to find some massage chairs that have the bonus feature of calf clampers that basically feel like Ricky Martin’s pelvis really working it against each one of your calves. It was really great. We then decided to go over to Costco Home, where I proceeded to find a dining room table to fall in love with (handmade in India, a steal at only $2,500) and managed to not take it home despite the encouragement from Kristel. We both managed to make it out of there without spending any money, but the same cannot be said about the next stop we made: Starbucks. When we walked in, this girl wearing a similar jacket to mine, looked at me painfully, then turned to her mother who could be heard saying “Why are you looking at me like that?”. This girl obviously did not appreciate the fact that our coats looked alike. Oh well, we got our stuff and sat and chatted for a long time. I was pretty impressed by the number of semi-cute guys coming in and out of there, usually you don’t get that much on the Eastside. We packed up and I took Kristel home, then went home myself and showered and started getting ready to go over to Jason and Beth’s for dinner and a little board game action. I checked myspace though and got a message saying we would have to reschedule, so I got ready anyway and headed over to B’s house. We went out to dinner at Kiku and watched Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy with the roommates before going out to the Zoo to meet Luke, Seth, Rick, Jenny and Tong. Chrystol and I had a pretty good time in our corner and overall the conversation was pretty good, but we all got tired and ended up leaving around 11:30. Went to bed after that.

Friday 2/24, B came over around 8:00 and we watched some SatC before going to bed at like 10:00. It was quite the early evening. Before he got there I think I just showered and did shit in my room.

Thursday 2/23, Since I would like to continue my streak of not going to Neighbours, I didn’t go on Thurdsay. Instead, B came over after work and we sat downstairs and made veggie lasagna and watched Velvet Goldmine. It was actually a fairly fun evening, though quite simple.

Wednesday 2/22, It’s been a while since I’ve updated this, so I kind of don’t remember what I did last Wednesday. I probably just sat at home, ate leftover rice and tortillas, then watched tv until I went to bed. Thrilling I know.

Tuesday 2/21, Hit the grocery store on my way home and just hung out at home. B and I got into another semi-argument, this time over the phone instead of in person. Oh well, I ended up just watching a bunch of random shows before falling asleep with the tv still on.

Monday 2/20, Had the day off but still got up around 8:30 to get my oil changed and the guys said I need to have some stuff done to my car, but I need to ask Dad about all of it and where to take it if I do indeed need to have stuff checked out and replaced. I got home and put on Ladder 49 because it has Joaquin in it, though he was a little chubbier than I usually like him, it was kind of predictable but I was doing a collage at the same time so I was multi-tasking. I had some lunch then B finally called and came over. We went to Costco then to Bellevue Square to meet Skye and Chrystol for some shopping. B bought some tux pants from Banana Republic, kind of funny. We left and went back to my house where we watched a lot of episodes of ANTM and ate some food. B finally left and I continued the marathon up in my room while playing on my computer.

Sunday 2/19, B and I got up and made waffles for breakfast with my new waffle maker and they were very good. After that we just laid in bed for a very long time and eventually fell back asleep. We finally got up and had some lunch while watching tv, but it became hard to drag B away from Myth Busters. I was finally successful and we headed back into Seattle to hang out for the rest of the day. We went to U Village to look at stuff, but both left empty handed back to his house. Skye and Chrystol were there and we hung out for a little while before they left and B and I hung out upstairs until it was time for me to leave, though we were having a somewhat heated discussion about Zeph when Mom called to tell me to come over for dinner. We had a nice dinner except that Kassie was in a weird mood and was acting kind of mean, and after dinner we sat and talked in the family room until it was time for me to leave to catch Desperate Housewives at home. I had the house to myself that night.

Saturday 2/18, B and I got up kind of early to go to my house to prep for the party that evening. We went to my house first so that B could dump that lye stuff down my shower drain because of the backup in it. Then it was off to do the grocery shopping where we got the carne asada beef, chips, ice cream and other fixins for the dinner. As soon as we got back I started the process of preparing the fried ice cream, which meant getting the balls in the freezer to harden. Then I began cleaning the kitchen and B installed the new doorbell but it doesn’t work, then the next phase for the “FIC” was to roll each ball in egg and coat it in crushed cornflakes and let freeze for another hour+. I kept going with the cleaning and prepping while B played on the computer and avoided doing house work. Finally I got him to mount my towel rack and hook in my bathroom and put up the new smoke detector in the kitchen and put the old one down in the garage. Back at the “FIC” station, B did another round of egg and corn flakes while I primed the new wall and post. I cleaned up all of that stuff while the FIC balls sat in the freezer for 3+ more hours. Then it was time to start getting ready so we both showered and relaxed until it was about time for people to start showing up. Kristel and Sarah were the first to show up and we sat in the living room and chatted until Kassie and Zeph showed up, and lastly were Chelsea and Zack. The house was buzzing with activity as B worked the grill and there were many people prepping and cooking in the kitchen. The good news is I really didn’t do that much because everyone else brought stuff or did the prepping themselves. The food was all delicious, though there was a ton left over. We all sat and talked in the living room until it started getting late so B and I prepped the FIC and did a test run, and it was really good. Everyone ended up having one and I think they were a hit, especially with the raspberry sauce that Chelsea brought. After the young kids left Kristel and Sarah stuck around for awhile and we talked about difficult roommates and college experiences. The evening was a success I think, at least I had a really good time.

Friday 2/17, I got off of work a little early because of an errand, but instead of going straight to B’s I had to stop at home to drop off the flowers that were left in the office. I went to B’s after that where he made some dinner and Schuyler and Chrystol planned to see Harry Potter with B and me. We all went together and had a lot of fun, though the theater was packed. After the movie we went home and went to bed.

Lots o' stuff

Thursday 2/16, Peggy left for NZ today so I’ll be on my own for 3 weeks. After work I finished patching up the chipped up part of my new wall then picked up a few things in my room and climbed into bed to warm up. I finally figured out where that $4.18 is that’s wrong in my checkbook and it goes all the way back to October…whoops. Zeph called and I talked with him for awhile about dinner, hiking and crampons. Yeah, weird word, I know. I watched a whole bunch of ATM Season 2 cause it was on VH1. Susan left for the evening after we chatted for a long time, then I talked briefly to B and went to bed.

Wednesday 2/15, I just laid in bed all night, nothing exciting.

Tuesday 2/14, B and my first Valentine’s Day. It was good. After work I went home and got ready and out the door by 6:20 and made it to his house by about 6:45, we had awhile before our 8:15 reservation at Café Campagne. He looked so dapper all dressed up and Chrystol and Schuyler were hottin and hollerin when I came in, they’re so cute, they were making their dinner together: a heart pizza. Chrystol took some pictures of us like we were going to a school dance or something, it was fun. B got me some very pretty flowers and he opened his gift and liked it I believe. We hung out for awhile in his room then went back downstairs to talk with Jason, Schuyler and Chrystol. The topic turned to custom pizzas and they’re going to open a pizzeria where you can request the pizza be shaped like anything you want and Schuyler will be known as the Pizza Baron or something, or as Le Fromage and Chrystol will be Le Grand Fromage. We came up with some hilarious ideas, the delivery hummer, the red carpet and trumpets sounding as pizza is delivered, the pizza being delivered on a pillow rather than in one of those tacky red cases, delivery person in a suit of armor and many other ridiculous concepts. Finally at about 7:45 we headed out and found a decent parking space and got our table early. Dinner was fabulous and Jason totally hooked us up with our bill, so that was really nice and everything was sooo good. We skipped dessert and headed back to B’s then onto my house where we can all guess what happened before going to bed.

Monday 2/13, I went to the mall after work to pick up B’s Valentine’s Day present. I tried on my outfit and hung out for the rest of the evening. Not much to report.

Sunday 2/12, movie madness continued when I got up. Jess was still sleeping but because it was 10:30 and I couldn’t sleep anymore, I got up and Jack was watching “The Island”. It was a decent movie but didn’t leave me feeling very good. I love Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor, but I can’t handle all of the action and suspense. I managed to survive it, then Day made an enormous breakfast with like 15 waffles, though I only ate one and so did Jess so there was a ton left over not to mention the eggs and bacon. As we were eating breakfast Jess put “The Prince and Me” on, surprisingly, this was probably the best of the 4 movies. I know, I was shocked too. After that was over I got dressed and packed up my stuff and said good bye. I’m glad Jess is going to be back in April, with Bora in tow so we’re planning on hanging out as a foursome. I headed home where I showered and cleaned a little bit before B got there then we had to go to my Mom’s for dinner. She made this excellent marinated chicken with all of these herbs and yummy stuff with rice and veggies. For dessert it was chocolate chip cookies. We couldn’t stick around for too long cause B had to get up early in the morning, so we left and made out at home then watched Desperate Housewives.

Saturday 2/11, the phone rang way too early for how late we went to bed (actual time around 8:00) and the culprit was Day, Jess’ Mom. We laid in bed for a long time talking about how Jess had gotten sick in the middle of the night from her drinks and the bean dip, luckily I hate bean dip so I avoided getting sick too. We finally got up around 10:00 and raided Grandma’s pantry before hitting the road. We stopped at her Mom’s house and then took her car up to her Dad’s house so she could change and get clothes. We chatted with her Dad for awhile then went to Haagen’s for the things her Mom wanted us to pick up. We also picked up some delicious warm bread and other organic items for the day’s festivities. We got back to her Mom’s house and we ate the rest of the bread and some apple chips then watched “The Wedding Date” it had the potential to be good, but just wasn’t very. Glad I didn’t see it in the theaters. After that we were standing outside while Jess talked to Bora and I was chatting with Day when Billy came walking across the beach and up to talk to us. It was quite painful, he’s gained quite a bit of weight and just seems really…weird. I think it must be the meds he’s on, if not, I don’t know what the hell is wrong with him. Jessica thinks he might be kind of retarded now, and not in a mean way, really just like, out of it. After that we went on a walk up to see the house for sale up the street ($700,000) then along the little trail to the park where Jessica told the ducks what to do and they listened. When we got back to the house it was time for the large turkey dinner that Day had slaved away on. Jack kept making the weirdest comments but everyone just laughed because they were so random and inappropriate. We ate dinner while watching “Must Love Dogs” and again, it had some potential, but was just kind of not that good. Oh well, after dinner Jack got the chocolates out and I showed everyone MySpace and Day made me some very good hot chocolate. Day wasn’t feeling good so her and Jack left for the night and Jess and I busted out the old videos from high school. First was the Mexico video (it was hard to watch cause, boy, I was packing around the pounds at that point, not a pretty sight) then some random party videos and finally the party at Logan’s which was pretty brief and just kind of snippet-y but fun anyway. We watched those damn videos for like 2 hours. There was one part where Matt is holding the camera and to Jessica “Show me that ass” so she lifts up the back of her shirt to show him her shorts-covering ass and he’s like “Hell yeah!” and we just laughed for like 10 minutes, it was so Everett, and so high school and so hilarious. The other funny part is how he was driving her car around everywhere and he was 14. After all of those laughs it was time for bed.

Friday 2/10, After work I headed straight for B’s house, though he wasn’t there, I chatted with Schuyler until he arrived. We were just going to hang out for the evening because he had to get up early to go to work on Sat and I was going to spend the week with Jessica. B made us raviolis but I was craving more so we went to QFC and I got a little pack of Hostess donuts. I also bought the homeless man standing outside the store a couple of bananas, I didn’t know what else to get him (next time I think I’ll buy a sandwich). I ate all of those damn little donuts and felt very very sick as a result. The toilet and the shower had some issues and there was nasty stuff coming into the tub, I didn’t look, but everyone was thoroughly grossed out. We watched some of the opening ceremony for the Olympics until it was time for B to go to bed then Jessica called and I headed up to her Grandma’s house. I got there just as she was getting into the house (this time there was a key for us) and we decided to head to the Azteca for some cocktails and our fill of Everett men. Jess had a few drinks, I had a virgin strawberry daiquiri, and we ate way too many chips. I was still feeling sick from my donut debacle, but did that stop me from eating too many chips and feeling gassy? No, it did not. We went home when they closed, I think it was 12:00. As we’re going into the house, Jessica’s grandma pulls up, and Jessica’s like “Grandma, what are you doing just getting home” and I piped in “Get off my ass, can’t a woman have her secrets?”, she thought that was funny. They had been playing bingo earlier in the evening then her and her friends went to Walmart, where we’re convinced they were cruising for men. We’ll never know for sure, but the fact that Grandma Marie got home later than us is slightly suspicious. We ended up staying up late talking to her Grandma until 2:30 then finally going to bed in the twin room downstairs.

Thursday 2/9, I didn’t want to go to Neighbours and Susan didn’t either so we both stayed home. I watched Life Aquatic and hung out in my room all evening until OC came on. It was mighty fine, but I still can’t believe they killed off Johnny, I mean yeah, he was kind of needy and persistent, but he was really cute. Booo! Whatever, after that I went to bed.

Wednesday 2/8, Susan wanted to go to the mall after work so we went and looked at stuff but neither of us bought anything. We went to Bento Box for dinner and it was delicious, Susan’s treat! We went home after that and went to our separate rooms to bed.

Tuesday 2/7, B and I got up kind of late and when I went inside saw Aubrie sitting on the couch as she had been waiting for us to get up so we could hang out since she stayed home from school that day to do so. Whoops. So instead of going to her favorite bagel place for breakfast and being out and about, she came in the motor home and kept me company while I packed my bags. Mom arrived and took Aubs to school cause she didn’t want to miss PE then Dad got home and we loaded the car, Mom got back and we took off to the airport. Since we didn’t get there as early as we’d hoped we settled for lunch at an airport restaurant instead of downtown as we’d hoped for, oh well. I scarffed some nachos then it was time to go to our gate. We said goodbye to Mom and Dad and flew back to Seattle. Mom picked us up at the airport and B stayed at my house for a few hours waiting for traffic to lighten up. I just relaxed for the rest of the evening and prepared to go back to work.

Vacation = Good

Monday 2/6, B and I just wanted to take it easy on our last day so we decided to stick close to Carlsbad. We went to Lou’s first thing in the morning and I unloaded 9 of the “garbage singles” and traded them for the newer Oasis album. Then we went over to the video side and I picked up 4 or 5 used movies, so our trip to Lou’s was fairly successful overall. We decided to go back to the outlets after that where I picked up the Vans I’ve been eyeing for months (the pink ones with skulls on them, I know, how cute huh?!) but no Puma suits, damn! B promised we could go up to the Marysville one some weekend and get them then. We looked in a lot of other stores but didn’t buy anything else. Then it was off to Old Carlsbad for lunch, so we parked the car and started walking up and down the streets and finally settled on Pizza Port where I haven’t been since Mom and Dad first moved into the house, it was good, if not a little slow. But to make up for it we walked up to the bakery and each got a little treat. There were some killer sales at the boutiques, but I resisted and we went to the beach instead. We walked around for a little bit and I took some pictures then we went home to relaaaax. Watched tv for a bit before heading over to meet Alishia at University of CA San Marcos for coffee and to visit. We got Starbucks then found an empty computer lab and chatted in there until it was time to head home and Lish had class, so we drove home where we found Dad prepping dinner. I asked Aubs if she wanted to go to the Vans outlet and get some new sneaks, and she did so we blasted down there and I got another pair (pink and brown checkered this time) and she got two pair as well. Well I bought her a pair and she bought herself a pair. What a fun big sister am I! We got home and had a nice family-style fondu with lots of beef and two different kinds of marinated chicken, French fries and lots of fresh veggies. It was delicious and we all stuffed ourselves, but not before we could down one of Dad’s home-made malts. After that it was about time for bed so we all headed our separate directions for sleep. Tomorrow we leave.

Sunday 2/5, I called Bella Stanza in the morning but much to my dismay, they were closed that day for the Super Bowl, damn! And I couldn’t go Monday because that’s the usual day they’re closed, so as far as getting my lamp went, I was screwed this trip. I got ready and B positioned himself on the couch for an entire day’s worth of watching television. Mom, Aubs and I all headed down to San Diego to drop Aubrie off for her competition, then Mom and I drove around in the Gas Lamp area then over to Little Italy where we found Bella Stanza. So I’m cruising this adorable biscotti jar (I don’t even like biscotti!) when my Mom says “There’s a lamp right there” and as we stand there looking at these magnificent items from the outside through the window I yell “THAT’s THE LAMP, THAT’S IT!” yes, that’s right, the exact lamp that has been stuck to my washer and dryer in paper form, was right there, but I couldn’t even touch it or see how much it was. Guessing by the cost of my biscotti jar though ($180) I’m thinking it ain’t gonna be cheap. As I left feeling slightly depressed, Mom suggested lunch but the place she wanted to go was closed, so we went to the Pier 1 clearance store instead where I picked up 4 charming striped mugs. Then we went back down to the Convention Center, parked and began to walk around to find lunch. We eventually settled on this very nice Italian restaurant, with one of the hottest waiters ever! He even gave me a business card for the restaurant (I’m sure I’m the only one he’s ever given one to) and my Mom thought he had the hots for me. Here’s to hoping. So we got out of there just in time to go over and catch Aubrie’s performance and they really kicked ass, and got 1st of course, then Mom and I booked it out of there and back home to watch the remaining part of the Super Bowl. Let’s just say the afternoon / evening of watching the game didn’t go well. Those refs sucked, I heard one has been suspended though, so that makes me happy. At least the food was good, Mom made a ton of junk food including: potato skins (no one makes em better than her), Hooters wings, a token veggie plate, many varieties of chips and dips, apples with caramel and I know I’m forgetting something else, but it’s been too long now to remember. After the game, Courtney and Pat came over to hang for awhile to discuss the game and pick up some Disneyland tickets. We watched a few episodes of Monk then they left, then after another couple episodes we all went to bed. What a disappointing game.

Steelers suckkkkkkk

Saturday 2/4, B and I woke up kind of early and started to get ready for our hike in Borrego Springs. Dad printed out directions for us and we took the Corvette out there. It was a pretty uneventful ride out there, except we stopped in Santa Ysabel for some pastries and the drive was absolutely beautiful. When we got to the visitor center we went to the bathroom and started on the trail, but we were more than a half mile from the campground and then had to hike to the trailhead from that point…we didn’t know you could park closer, so by the time we got to the trailhead we were both tired and hot. We got some more water and cooled off a little bit, then talked to a woman who said many people have been seeing big horn sheep around stop #9. We saw the sheep, there were 6 of them I think, then continued up to the spring. We hung out a little at the top and had some snacks then trekked back down, which felt faster and cooler than our hike up. The signs said that the hike was 1.5 miles but it sure felt longer. We saw the sheep again on the way down and also saw a deer hauling balls when we were on the trail back to the Visitor Center. We headed back home with a stop for lunch in Julien and made it home by 5:00. We hung out at home with Dad just watching tv and reading before Mom got home with Aubrie and we made the pot pie and watched home movies until like 11:30.

Friday 2/3, Court came in and got us up around 9:00 so we got out of there around 10:00 and head to the bagel place and I got a delicious one before we headed south to the Zoo. We drove through Balboa Park pretty quickly then headed to the parking lot and in, with only a $22 entrance fee rather than $32 which is what we thought. We started around the park and had a lot of fun seeing all the animals and reading about them. We saw the new baby panda first and she was sooo cute and I got a picture right before she turned her head. After that we mapped out a sensible route around the park. It was a very fun day with a kind of crappy lunch, but by the end we were all exhausted and skipped some of the reptile stuff like the tortoises, but otherwise saw everything and finally left around 3:30 and headed back to Court’s. We went in and got our stuff then headed back up, hit some traffic and decided to go 101 from Del Mar and stopped at the store for Mom to get some chicken and we got two whole chickens for $5, it was crazy. Mom grilled chicken for dinner and we had homemade fries which was all delicious, then we all piled into the hot tub for about an hour or so listening to Queen and Sting. We showered off after we got out and went to bed.

Thursday 2/2, B and I didn’t get up all that early but did manage to take a nice walk around the park and have some breakfast before Mom got home. Mom introduced us to all of her card playing friends before we took off to go get lunch at the Daily News Café. Then we hit Spin and I bought Seven Swans and Gorillaz before we headed to the outlets and looked at Barneys and the Puma outlet, where if all goes well we will have matching outfits before this trip is through. We left to pick up Aubrie and Co at school and took the girls home. We were going to go back out but were kind of exhausted so we laid around until it was time to pack our stuff for our stay at Court’s and to visit Mom at her center for her special class. We stayed there until Court called, got directions and took off. We left pretty quickly for dinner at Aloha Sushi and I got this great dish called “Mochi Chicken” it was like fried chicken but had sweet breading rather than salty and it was a breast piece all cut up not like drumsticks or anything. We walked to the Comedy Store after that which started at 8:00, and we got a 2 for 1 ticket price. The show was really long and there were a couple of good comics but out of like 25, it was way too long with some really bad comics. There were some really drunk people who kept repeating everything the comics would say, and Kelly was pretty funny too with critiques loud enough for each comic to hear. We finally dragged Court out of there around 10:25 and headed back to her house to go to bed.

And we had fun, fun, fun...

Wednesday 2/1, We got up early and headed up to Disneyland with Mom and Dad but not before Dad made pancakes, yum! We took two cars so that B and I could stay longer. First we went to the regular park and hit Pirates, Indiana Jones and Thunder Mountain before heading over to California Adventure (we would have hit the Haunted Mansion too but it was closed). After a little mix-up, we were in and heading toward the Grizzley water ride, but it was closed too, arggg! So we went to the one “Over CA” then went to lunch in Downtown Disney. We went to House of Blues and we all had good meals then we went back to CA Adventure to go on the Monsters Inc ride and Tower of Terror, except I was terrified but Mom was like, “No, I’ve been on it in FL and it’s not bad, they give you the option to get off before you go way up in the tower and it drops you”, yeah guess who was right…me! We were all sick by the time we got off of that ride, and it definitely lives up to it’s name. We decided to walk to the Pier after that and we went on the Ferris Wheel but it had these sliding cars so that freaked all of us out a bunch and made us even sicker than we were. We went back over to the regular park and rode the train around the park before Mom and Dad left to go home. We went and got some hot chocolate to warm up then went on the Jungle Adventure then pretty much left cause we were so cold. Found our way home and hung out until Mom and Dad got home. I don’t think we ate anything for dinner and just kind of went to bed. They played Beach Boys songs all day at Disneyland.

Tuesday 1/31, We hit it early and made it over to Mom’s, ate some breakfast and headed to the airport. Got all checked in and found our gate then boarded like an hour later. We had pretty good seats and the captain informed us that we would be landing about a half hour early. When we landed Mom and Dad weren’t there yet but told us they would be there soon, so they got there and we headed to Charlie’s for lunch on the beach and that was good. We then headed home along the coast and relaxed a little bit at home. After we settled in for a while we took the Corvette out and went up and down the coast before heading home because it was getting dark. Dad made popcorn for dinner and B had a home-made milkshake. Mom made us watch some X-Files-esqe show, but it was really terrible, then we went to bed out in the motorhome.

Monday 1/30, Got home and did laundry, packed, then B came over to spend the night before we left to go to San Diego. We were going to go to Mom’s in the morning cause Alan was going to take us to the airport. We watched tv and then we turned in.
