Tuesday 3/14, Looked at a lot of open houses that will be going on this weekend and found some good ones. Convinced B on the phone that we should definitely see some of them, did some reading then it was off to bed.
Monday 3/13, Just hung out after work and acted lazy except I think I took out some trash and shit. Talked to B for a long time on the phone cause he’s in Oregon.
Sunday 3/12, I was ready to do all sorts of stuff but B was being sluggish despite the fact that he’s always saying he doesn’t want to sit inside and do nothing all the time. I finally got him up and ready to go down to Café Campagne where I had to buy Peggy a gift certificate for her birthday. Jason came along so he could hit the tackle shop. B dropped me off and I ran in and luckily saw Jason in there so I got my certificate and got to chat with him for a few minutes which was nice and I got a hug too. I only had to wait a minute for B to come around the block then the three of us headed up to Queen Anne to the Pizza Co. or something for sandwiches. It was a beautiful day and we walked up to the place and had a delicious lunch (I had the Philly steak sub) then headed home to relax. Jason and I sat on the porch in the sunshine and read while B cleaned his car out. I eventually went upstairs to lay on his bed and fell asleep. He woke me up when it was time for him and Jason to go play pickle ball with some other guy and I decided to go home where I took a shower and proceeded to fall asleep again. I woke up in time to go to Mom’s but I really didn’t want to because I was so tired. Had a nice dinner but Kassie was sick and I was still tired so we both left at like 7:30 which is pretty early. I called Dad on my way home since I haven’t talked to him forever and got advice on my car. I talked to Mom too and got the low down with the housing situation then watched Desperate Housewives before going to bed for real.
Saturday 3/11, I got up around 8:30 or something and had to go to the bathroom but Schuyler was in there so I knew it would be a little while, so Chrystol told me I could just grab my stuff out of there and be on my way. I had to hold it all the way until I got home, yikes. I took a shower and got ready to go out with Kristel for lunch and a movie then hit the road. We planned to meet at PF Changs for lunch and then we would walk across the sky bridge for the movie in the new Lincoln Square. We had a nice lunch and the movie was really good, though left both of us feeling a little unsettled. Visions of Jonathan Rhys Meyers in a tight, wet, button up shirt helped me through that though. We did a little shopping after that and I ended up with three new Favorite T’s cause all of my current ones are nasty and pitted out. Gross I know. I headed to B’s after that and luckily Jason was getting there just as I did so he let me in and I read a magazine until B got home from pickle ball. We chatted but again he waited too long to take a shower and Chrystol beat him to it, he finally took one and we all got ready to go see Walk the Line at the Crest, but first dinner at Blue-C Sushi where all of the items go by on a conveyor belt and you choose what you would like and it’s price is determined by the plate color. I had two plates of vegetable tempura, yum! We were late on our way to the theater and by the time we got there the line was all the way around the block and it sounded like the only seats that were available were the ones way in the front so we nixed it and decided to get some goodies and watch Forest Gump at home. We didn’t end watching Forest Gump but instead some random shows and then the movie Dummy with Adrien Brody, it was ok, kind of weird, but funny too. That’s all.
Friday 3/10, I got off of work early so I high-tailed it home to pick up some overnight things, then into Seattle to B’s. He hadn’t showered yet even though he’d been home for like an hour so that made me furious, ok not really but I was like, “come on, it’s early afternoon on Friday and we’re just sitting here, get a move on!” so we finally made it out the door and headed down into Ballard to see if we could find Seattle Tile. We passed Goodwill and stopped in where I got some bowls and travel books. We went to Ivars after that for dinner then up to Value Village where I found even more matching bowls, some cute French-y plates and some little Pyrex bowls like the ones my parents used to give us fruit and ice cream in. We saw Seattle Tile on the way up there and I made a mental note, then we headed home where Jason was watching tv so we joined him (for the regulars: Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy) and I experienced my first “Deal or No Deal” and I was hooked about half way through. We had to go to bed early cause B was getting up early in the morning.
Thursday 3/9, B called to say he wouldn’t be coming over until later than usual, so I started making curry then and ate mine. I called him after I took my first bite to tell him that it was a good batch and that got him moving. He came over and we watched OC then went to bed.
Wednesday 3/8, I had to pick Peggy up at the airport so I put in an extra hour and a half at work and finally made it home where B was waiting because he had been stuck in traffic due to 520 being shut down. He had made a pizza so I ate the last slice of that and had a salad. We watched Top Model but he had to go home before the first actual episode aired, so I watched that by myself then I watched the finale of Project Runway where I was disappointed to find out that Chloe won, I was really rooting for Daniel because I liked the majority of his pieces better than Chloe’s. Plus he’s cuter.
