Saturday 6/17, Got up around 7:15 for Kay-See’s and my hike up Little Si again. We got an earlier start this time and though it was a cooler and cloudier day, it was just as beautiful a hike as when it’s sunny. We saw one really cute guy on our way up and when we got to the top there was only one guy who was all “zen” as Kay-See put it. We sat up there for quite a while just watching the clouds and talking. There was the cutest little squirrel that wanted something to eat, but we didn’t give in despite his constant circling around us and incredible cuteness. We decided to start back down but checked this look out point that drops straight down but has a better view than our other one, then joked about jumping out of the bushes at unsuspecting hikers and scaring them. We passed quite a few groups of people hiking up and one particularly cute blonde boy with his mom (we’re guessing). Kay-See almost made me turn around a couple of times to go back up and make him fall in love with us, but we didn’t. We’re working on our “hiker banter” so we can start to make friends with cute boys. We talked all the way back down, tried some salmon berries (the orange ones are apparently more ripe than the red, go figure) and ended up beating our time, then back down to my house. I showered and dressed then headed out to a tile place to browse. I hit the bank for some cash and saw Troy the banker who worked at the MI branch then at the Issaquah branch then disappeared, but now I know where he is. We talked for a while and he gave me his card in case I ever have any problems with my account, though I don’t foresee that happening. After I got home I napped for a while and felt groggy when I woke up. Susan and I both started getting ready to hit Cowgirls Inc and Neighbours. We wanted to get to CI early so that the crowds wouldn’t be so big and I would be able to talk to Andy more. We found parking closer to the club this time and went in. Susan asked if Andy was working and the bouncer said yes so we went in. Susan sees him first, but I get the first hug and we chatted for a second about how he keeps not coming to Neighbours but he said that they’ve got him working there Tuesday to Saturday, so he can’t. Then he said something but I didn’t hear, so I said “What?” and he nodded. Um, ok. We decided to go watch the girls dance on the bar and he kept walking by us cause they have to keep that area clear, so one of the times I grabbed him and we chatted for a minute and I was feeling brave to I asked him if he was still with his gf, he said no, I asked him if he had another gf he said no, that him and his gf broke up 2 weeks ago, so I was like “My bf broke up with me 3 weeks ago!” and he said “They don’t know what they’re missing” and I just smiled at him, so hopefully he got the hint. That’s all I could do was keep smiling, he’s just so damn cute. Susan corrected me and told me it was 4 weeks, and she’s right, which means that him and his gf must have broken up right at the time we went to see him last time. Hmmm. We got asked by some guy if we wanted to dance, but I don’t think he spoke English or was drunk or something because he just kept asking if we wanted to dance. Andy also said earlier that he’s almost worse off financially now than he was when he was working Neighbours and I asked him how and he said “This place is weird” and that he’d been bar backing in the beginning but now he’s back on security full time, so I hope he doesn’t mean it’s weird like he’s doing coke and wasting all his money that way. Um at some point I said that we were going to go up to Neighbours and he said that he appreciated that we came and saw him, which was nice. He saw us by the mechanical bull and pointed toward us and then to the bull and smiled, I just shook my head and smiled. He’s so cute, his hair is getting long and I like it. Not long in a conventional sense, just long for him. I think he’s still got that tongue ring too. Then when we were leaving I said “It was good seeing you” and he said “It was great seeing you” oooh, “great”! I’m a little irritated that I didn’t give him my number or ask him if he wanted to make out but I’ll finesse my line for next time. So I said bye and I think I got another hug then we headed up and Travers started screaming and calling for help. I laughed and gave him a tip so that he won’t scream the next time we come, but he wouldn’t promise anything. Nothing terrible exciting happened, we just danced a lot and ended up leaving around 12:40, pretty early for a Saturday night.
Friday 6/16, I was too tired to go for a walk so both Susan and I stayed in for the night. I watched tv and vegetated for the night. I think I went to bed around 11:30.
Thursday 6/15, I went for my 3 mile walk when I got home because I got off a little early and wanted to get a good workout in. I think I ate dinner and watched tv, showered and then got ready to go to Neighbours. Susan and I decided to leave earlier than usual so we could go to Toys in Babeland before it closed at 10:00. We got there around 9:00 I would say and looked around for quite a while. I got the Orchid and wanted to get this pirate porn because it looked totally entertaining, but at $60 I decided it would not be a very good investment. We went back to the car to drop off our loot then walked up to Everyday Music where I proceeded to buy 4 cds, all used, but still, I wasn’t intending to spend that money but out the door it went. I thought I saw Julien but I’m not sure if it was him or not. We walked back to the car so I could drop off the cds then we headed up to Neighbours and gave the bouncer a hug, talked with the money-taker guy who surprised me again by actually engaging in conversation, then went in. The place was pretty empty for a while and surprisingly no Bun. I think he’s probably still humiliated from last week after his awkward attempt at conversation with Susan. After dancing for a while we decided to go try to find that cute trucker-hat boy that had hit on Susan before so we went upstairs and watched the crowd before Susan went over to talk to him because he was playing pool by himself. Faith came on so I ran downstairs to dance by myself and as I was doing it I looked up onto the stage behind me and Craig was standing there so I just sat there with my mouth open pointing at him. I didn’t go up to him though, and he came down to me, so I told him his hair was long and I liked his jacket and that they were doing a new Top 40 80’s Night and that DJ Von Trapp had been in and out of the dj box all night. Then Footloose came on and a horrified look manifested itself on Craig’s face and he walked back up onto the stage, while I really let the dance moves come. Susan came down too so we danced to it, then another one came on and Craig came down to give Susan a hug and he actually stayed and danced with us for a while, despite these ugly humping gay guys who kept bumping into us and some drunk girl who fell down the stairs right into Craig. I laughed for about 5 minutes after that happened, not because she fell into Craig, just that she fell period. I didn’t go over to say hi to Thomas like Susan did so instead he blew me a kiss across the dance floor so I blew him one back, it was so cute. Blue shirt was back, but I don’t know if he recognized us. We went outside to get some fresh air at some point, but there isn’t fresh air out in the alley anymore because of all the smokers. I was introduced to a couple of Susan’s other friends and they were all very nice, but then we decided it was time to go so we walked back to the car and went home.
