Sunday 8/21, So because I hadn’t gotten home until 2:30 I didn’t wake up until right before 10. I jumped out of bed, ate some breakfast, threw my contacts in and headed out the door. First up was Costco for gas, then to the grocery store. When I got home I put my walking clothes on and left, though I really took it easy because I was so tired, probably my worst time, but I still walked 3 miles! I ate lunch when I got back, showered, packed my tanning-bag and headed down to Factoria to buy a new swim suit to tan in. First I hit Nordstrom Rack, the girl claimed they didn’t get any swim wear in this year, strike one, then to Target where everything had been thoroughly picked over and nothing matched, strike two, lastly to Old Navy where all my suits are from only to find out they have two bottoms in the clearance section and that’s it, strike three. Now I’m pissed because I didn’t bring a back up suit with me so I have to drive all the way home to get one. I change quickly and head out to the Bellevue Park. I talked a lot on the phone to Mom in San Diego and to Alishia, read my British Glamour then packed up after an hour and a half of sun. I went home and relaxed some more and uploaded my pictures onto flickr and cleaned up some shit on my computer. Pretty soon it was 5:45 and time to go to Mom’s for dinner where we had some delicious beef and rice dish, it was so good. We chatted for a little bit about Eric and Louisville and by 7:30 it was time for me to go. When I got home I put on my Decemberist cds, took out the recycling and began the timely process of hand cleaning each tile one by one with a washcloth. I did that until about 9:50 when Susan called me to tell me that she’d just landed. I put on Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here and set off for the airport. Her baggage wasn’t going to come for awhile so I pulled into the cell phone lot which was totally full so I parked in the Delta Employee Parking ONLY lot and called Aubrie to talk about Eric and the pictures I’d sent her. She’s so fun and I’m determined to get more for her. Susan called to tell me that she had her bags so I told her to go upstairs to ticketing because baggage claim would be nuts so she did and I’m so glad because there was a terrible line to go to baggage. We loaded into the car and about 2 minutes into our ride home Eric called so I asked if I could call him back in a half hour, he said yes, so Susan and I gossiped all the way home about her trip and Eric. When we got there she admired the tile job and we both went into our rooms. I called Eric, who had to call me back and then did right as I’d put my eye makeup remover on so I had to ask him to hold on so I could rinse it off and I could hear him whistling into the phone and laughed. We made plans for Wednesday after I’m done working and I’m hoping he’ll want to go dancing on Thursday too, so we can make out on the dance floor again. We’ll see though. I finished a chapter in my book and went to bed.

Saturday 8/20, I woke up early around 6:45 but didn’t get out of bed until 7:30 when Dale opened the front door, which I can always hear in my room. I got up and had some breakfast then checked my email and stuff then got ready to go on my walk. I took it easy and didn’t do any jogging because I knew it would be a long day and I didn’t want to wear myself out so early. I listened to Venga Boys and it’s a decent cd to walk to, but not as good as Gorillaz or Scissor Sisters. When I got back Dale was just finishing up so I stayed downstairs and chatted with him, though around 9:15 I heard my phone beep with a message and it was Eric which made me feel a little giddy that he was calling me so early. Finally Dale scooted out and said he would be back to seal the tile and I took that opportunity to call Eric back so we made plans for me to come into Seattle and get lunch and spend some time outside or something but I needed time to get ready so I told him it would be about 45 minutes which would have me leaving my house around 10:30, so early but I love it! So I found his place without any trouble and we decided to go get something to eat and that he’s going to drive us there. We walk out to his car but he starts to walk over to the passenger side so I assume he’s got to get something out of the car on that side, so he unlocks the door and holds it open for me, how nice right? well then I get in and he even shuts it for me. I was a little surprised and managed a “thank you” in there somewhere. Who knew right? I’ve never had a guy do that, that I can remember at least, especially at this stage of the game. So we get going and Schuyler called me to get my address for Chrystol and I tell him I’m hanging out with “my new friend Eric” so he wants some stories after I pass them off to Chrystol. We drive up to Queen Anne to have lunch at Pesos and again when we go in he lets me walk in first, I’m getting the vibe that he’s a true Southern boy, being from Kentucky and all, minus the racism and aversion to gays. We chat while we eat lunch and it’s nice to find out more about him and what he does for work and stuff, then I go to use the bathroom before the check comes, so when I get back he’s got the check and is getting cash out, so I grab my wallet and get my card out but the waitress comes and he hands her cash and she walks away with it. I sat there with my jaw on the table and said, “You just paid for it, I was going to give her my card” but he just shrugged so I told him next time I would get it and he goes “We’ll see” so I smiled and said “Well thank you” it was all very cute. We decided to walk over to Easy Street where he once again held open the door for me and we looked around at some new stuff then I got myself into trouble in the used section, like usual. He ended up with one and I walked out with two. We went back to his place and sat on his couch forever talking about movies and stuff and finally he leaned over and kissed me and we made out for 20 minutes until he had to go to work. I asked him if I could take a picture of him but the ones I got don’t do him justice but oh well, at least I had something to send to Aubs. He insisted on walking me to my car then got on his motorcycle (hot!) and rode away. I called Kay-See to see what she was doing and she told me to come down to the Juanita Park to sunbathe with her, so I did. AGF got there not too long after I did and we all worked on our tans and chit chatted. He mentioned that there might be dancing later in the evening with the other gays, which got me real excited, and Kay-See wanted to have dinner with Michelle so we scrapped having dinner and a movie at my place and decided to make it a “Seattle Night”. AGF took off for Starbucks to do some work and cool off and Kay-See and I followed about 20 minutes later. The three of us sat talking for quite awhile and got some very good bj / hj tips from Kyky. I’m still a little nervous about my technique but if I can master Kyky’s tips, I have a feeling I’ll be in pretty good shape. Now, to only find a willing participant… Anyway, so we laughed and talked until finally I felt like it was time for me to go so Kay-See and I walked back to the park and I drove home where I relaxed and enjoyed having the house to myself, ie walking around in the nude. Finally I showered and got ready and waited for a call from Kay-See to lay out the plans for the evening and ended up leaving around, um, 7:30 I think. After I parked I called Andy to see if he could pull any strings so we wouldn’t have to wait in a 45-minute line again, but he didn’t answer so I left a message. Kay-See and I walked up at the same time and Michelle was bustling around cleaning and preparing dinner. We lounged and had girl talk, ate dinner until we were bursting at the seams then played dress up with Michelle’s cute clothes and shoes. Finally a little after 10 we were off. The line wasn’t nearly as bad this time and I think the door guy was flirting with me and checking me out, but I can’t be sure. I guess we didn’t need Andy’s help after all. We go in and straight for the back, where I’ve spotted Andy, when I walk by him I squeeze his arm, say hi and ask how he’s doing and he says “Better now” so I smile and shake my head and we go back to the front to watch people fall off the bull. They were playing a lot of bad music, but the decent stuff we danced to and watched the girls on the bar, though Michelle was disappointed that they weren’t hotter. There were gross guys every where and I had to be saved more than once by Michelle and Kay-See from a butt-humper. Michelle was pushing us around the dance floor with her butt and told some country-loving guy that she lives in Seattle for a reason and that the music was for people from Monroe or something, it was really funny, then she said something about girls missing teeth, but I don’t remember. After a few more good songs we’d decided we’d had enough and it was time to get out of there (Michelle put it nicely when she said “You have to be drunk to tolerate this place”, I said “Or have a crush on the bouncer”) but I had to spot Andy first and say goodbye. He walked by me and I’m glad I didn’t grab him because he was going to take the position at the exit door, so we pounded our waters and made a beeline for him. I gave him a hug and asked if he’d gotten my voicemail, he hadn’t, I told him I was giving him a heads up, then he asked if we were going up to Neighbours and I said we might be meeting some friends up there but that I was tired though we wanted to get out because Michelle had never been to CI. Then he says “You should call me Monday, no, Sunday or Monday” and I know that those are his days off, but instead of saying ok, I elbowed him gently in the side and said “OR, YOU could call me, since you’ve got my number” and he says, “I think I will” with a smile. Uh huh, I’ll believe it when I see his name pop up on my cell phone. I said bye with a smile and we were off. Kay-See called AGF and told him we’d be up there in a half hour, so we got parking, walked down to Neighbours and started waiting on the street corner. Finally when they hadn’t shown up about 15 minutes later we went in (the cute bouncer called me sweet heart again) and hit the bathrooms. We decided to look for them from the back platform but AGF found us and brought us over to Richie. We all hit the dance floor and laughed, danced, ass-smacked and had a “gay” old time. One of the usual drag queens who's friends with "Mick Jagger" came down from the stage, touched my arm to get my attention and said I must play sports to have such athletic arms. I said, Oh thank you! Then she asked me what sports I played and I said none and she complimented me again and went back up to the stage. That made me happy, having some random person give you a compliment and you know they're not interested in getting in your pants. The music was decent and we were all laughing and grinding with each other. AGF and I eventually ended up outside chatting and soon the others joined us, we decided it was time to go home, walked to the car with some old guy asking us our names and wanting to chat, then headed back to Michelle’s where I dropped them off and went home. It was a big day.

Friday 8/19, Peggy let me leave about 10 minutes early so I went home to find Dale and his son working on the tile and it looked good. I went for my 3-mile walk and did it in record time, yay! I showered and hung out in my room to stay out of the way until about 6:00 when they went home. Later in the evening Dale called to ask if they could come back in the morning to grout, I said yes please, the sooner the better. I decided around 9:30 to watch Walk the Line because I love Joaquin and hadn’t seen it for awhile and about a half hour into it Eric called so we made plans to call each other in the morning to hang out since he had to work at 2:00. I was very excited he called and had contemplated asking him if he wanted to come over right then but my contacts were already out and I was too tired. I finished watching my movie but had a hard time staying awake at the end then went to sleep when it ended.

Thursday 8/18, I left work early to meet Dale the tile guy at 3:30 but by 3:45 when he hadn’t shown up yet I called him and he said he wasn’t coming and asked if he could come in the morning before I went to work. I said that was fine. When I was checking my mail this lady from the next building over came out and introduced herself and we ended up talking and gossiping for about an hour. She’s nice but seems a little nosy. I believe I didn’t do anything for the rest of the night, probably just read, watched a movie or played on my computer, though I can’t be sure.
