Thursday 3/1, I woke up realizing I'd met the man I want to marry in my dream. His name is Dan and though I didn't initially find him all that attractive as my dream progressed I found myself very attracted to him. He flips multi-million dollar houses and does the work himself. That's hot. He just seemed like a really good guy. Sigh. My search is now on for the real Dan. Anyhow, let the games begin! Kay-See called after I got home from work and informed me she felt like staying in instead of going on the art walk, boo! We made plans for Friday night instead. I showered and started to get ready then talked to Chrystol and firmed up plans for later in the evening. Ate some dinner and hit the road, arriving at Chrystol and Schuyler's a bit earlier than anticipated. I met S' dad and he's very nice, ignored B, and chatted with the other roommates until it was time to hit the road. We convinced Jason to come again, promises of booze helped in the persuasion, and as we were leaving he asked what I would do if B asked if he could come along. I said I would just look at him and ask him why he would want to do that when I'm not intellectually stimulating enough for his presence. Jason laughed, yes! Off to Pioneer Square while discussing mascara options (I prefer YSL and we vowed to find out what Kay-See uses). Parked much closer this time and walked over to find a much less crowded affair. We started up and found most studios open and even found some great ones on the other side of the building. We sent Jason in first for some of them because they were a little out there especially the one with a guy playing bongos, a dj spinning and disco ball completing a completely awkward situation. I think that was their art and figured if we go back next month we'll probably see video of ourselves looking in awkwardly from the outside then quickly leaving once we actually entered. I saw Sarah W. and Chuck though I didn't say hi to him. Jason ran into some friends again and my highlight of course is the painting I vow to buy. We found some other cool rooms this time so it felt like a very successful trip with Chrystol and Jason both commenting that it was more fun this month than last. The dead birds probably had something to do with that. Anyway, it was after 9 and Schuyler had a show at the Blue Moon that had started so we headed back to Wallingford so I could drop them off with Chrystol and I sitting in my car chatting for a while about boys and B's gf. I called Susan to see if I could go over there and hang until Neighbours, and when she mentioned cookie dough I was practically begging for an invite. When I got there I gorged myself on delicious cookie dough...dammit, I forgot to take it with me. Anyway, we looked at boys on the internet, watched Ace Ventura 2 and I took a mini nap on Susan's bed. Soon it was time to roll out, we parked in our usual spot then ran to the Egyptian to meet up with Vicki. We went in and this cute tall boy was making googly eyes at me as he reentered while I tried to pay attention to what the bouncers were saying to me. We went upstairs and quickly spotted my new bf on the dance floor, but his moves were not so good. Susan called him an ostrich, and I helpfully added that he looked not only like an ostrich but like an ostrich on roller skates. It's not that he physically looked like a bird, it was his dance moves. Then we spotted my older bf who has multiple costume changes throughout the night and this night was no exception. Even Vicki was impressed. I decided I needed another application of deodorant so I ran to my car, applied, ran back then cut in line to get back in, haha suckas! I found the girls dancing and saw my Army Hat bf (ostrich) lurking around them so I decided to go check my coat then blew my nose and redirected a guy out of the women's room and into the men's room then back out to the dance floor. Teal and Darren were there and I got to see Darren make out with his bf a little, hot! Um, we all danced and I kept an eye out for Army Hat but then this other guy started lurking around (something was in the water last night I swear!) and finally came up to me and introduced himself, and though he seemed nice and wasn't ugly, I just wasn't interested and I didn't really know how to say that without being a bitch so I told him he could find me there on Thursdays if he wants to see me again, but that I wasn't giving him my number and I didn't feel like going out for a beer or Diet Coke. Sorry Chris! Vicki left while I was trying to get Chris off my ass so Susan and I continued to dance it up and take some truly terrible pictures. It wasn't long before Susan made her first OC reference telling me she would "salt my game" if I tried to get with Army Hat, damn! The songs were pretty good even though Von Trapp and his stupid sidekick played Erasure's Stop TWICE within about 20 minutes, idiots. Susan and I were all over the floor, well over by the fan anyway, and these two guys kept looking over and I had absolutely no interest, and one of them says his friend is a really good dancer but I just told him no thanks and they left. Eventually that tall goth-y guy who I'm pretty sure is gay was dancing right next to us and I don't remember which song it was, but it was a good one, and I kept kind of looking over at him in his mesh t-shirt and black and white stripped pirate pants and we kind of smiled at each other and at one point he reached his arm around my shoulders to kind of semi-hug me / get my attention. I'm not sure what it was but it gave me a case of the shivers. I'm tracking him down next week! Teal was lots of fun and confirmed that Jeff is "very straight" and we took turns singing to each other from across the floor. PMT showed up and I shielded Susan though he seems pretty harmless. I saw Army Hat again when we took a break and out of the corner of my eye I saw him pointing me out to a friend or sidekick or something but I didn't make eye contact. I'm aloof like that. I take after Jacques. Finally it was time to go and we said our goodbyes to Teal and Darren, got our coats and booked it back to our cars. Luckily those guys driving up the alley didn't follow us and try to lure me into their car with candy and tales of a lost puppy.

Wednesday 2/28, I hung out at home, of course, showered, played with Jacques a little and watched some more OC. I then watched the new ANTM and determined that I hate half the girls. Especially the married ones, ug, give me a break.

Tuesday 2/27, I got home a little early so I decided to do some jump roping as a form of workout and it actually was pretty good and Jacques sat by the back door and watched me the whole time. I showered and cleaned up the house a little because Susan was coming over after work for Chinese and to play with the cat. She got out early so we called in our order to Cascade Garden and took off to pick it up. We watched AFV while inhaling (well I inhaled) our food. After it was over I convinced Susan to watch a couple of episodes from OC, I'm trying to get her hooked and it might be working a little bit. It was about 10:30 when we were done so Susan packed up and left then J finally came out of the closet (not metaphorical) then crawled under my bed to sleep.

Monday 2/26, I went on my short walk and ran a good portion of it then hung out with my cat all night and watched tv. Fabulous! Jacques was really going crazy with some of his toys and running all over the house, it was hilarious.
