Thursday 3/29, I got off work a little early and headed to Mom’s to get ready to go to dinner to celebrate Kassie and Grandpa’s birthdays. I tried calling Eliso on the way over then talked to Trevor and made tentative plans for Saturday. Traffic was awful and we were late for our reservation at Tavolata but once we got there the tension level went down. It’s this open kind of space with the kitchen open to the restaurant and there were several good looking chefs / cooks but there was one in particular that caught my eye, and by the look of his little jacket I was guessing he was head chef or sous chef or something. We made eye contact a few times and I was very attracted but that was all. We ordered dinner and I loved my gnocchi even though it wasn’t like any gnocchi I’ve ever had. Toward the end of dinner one of the waiters came over that Kassie knew and she told him I thought the chef guy was cute and was getting his stats, so we got his name, approx age and that he’s single. So I’m thoroughly mortified and he’s like, “Oh I’ll send him over” and I was like “Ack! No!” then I see him go over out of the corner of my eye and talking to him so then I’m even more mortified and Renee comes back over and says that he wants my number so Kassie writes it down and Renee delivered. Again, I was mortified, I couldn’t even look over there after that and we left not too long afterward. At least I was having a good hair day. We drove back to the house and had cake and opened cards which was fun and I ended up staying until about 9:00 then headed home and called Susan on the way to make plans to meet up. I hopped in the shower and got ready then headed out a little before 11, met Susan at the usual spot and we headed in where I whistled at Kyle on the way in. It was kind of dead so we headed upstairs right away and found Richie up there, took some pictures then went down to dance. We both weren’t feeling good and I’m sure I was really attractive blowing my nose on the dance floor all night, and since the music kind of sucked we both decided we would probably end up leaving early. We saw Darren and bf and said hi but he kind of stayed away all night. It was a fairly uneventful night and when the Jackson 5 came on at 12:20 I was like “I can’t deal, I’m ready to go” so we got our coats and left. I almost fell asleep on the way home and was feeling a little worse.

Wednesday 3/28, I talked to Kay-See after work about brunch and the cooking class we’re taking at the UW and the “date” with Trevor. I uploaded pictures to flickr forever then made some dinner and watched WoF, Jeopardy and ANTM then some polar bear special on Animal Planet. I ate like a million animal crackers. Yum!

Tuesday 3/27, I called Trevor when I got home and made plans for the evening then jumped into the shower and got ready. I borrowed one of Kassie’s jackets then talked to Susan before taking off into Seattle. By this point I my throat was pretty sore even though I’d been popping Vitamin Cs all day and gargling with salt water, so when Trevor went in for a kiss I kept my lips tightly pursed but then quickly explained why because I didn’t want him to think I didn’t want to kiss him, I just didn’t want to get him sick, being a singer and all. We hung out in his apartment for a while talking then he suggested going down to his little beach and for a walk in the dark so that was fun and it felt like we walked forever just looking at houses and talking about architecture and nightmare exes. I think I talked too much, but what can you do? Next time I’ll work on asking more questions and stop talking about myself so much. We talked more when we got back and looked at his photo album from Europe the year after I was there traveling around. It was time for us to go to our movie (Black Snake Moan) so we took off and as we were walking up the stairs he’s like, “Do you ever get the feeling when you’re walking up stairs that the person behind you is looking at your butt?” and I was like “YES!” because I had just been thinking that and how I should have worn the jeans the fit my ass better, then asked him if was asking for any particular reason and he said “Oh yeah, I was totally checking yours out and it’s not like you’d know, so I might as well” and we joked about that more and I got a good laugh out of it because his rationale was so funny. We didn’t know which theater it was at so we just parked and started walking. I called Susan for some backup and we eventually found it and took our place in the last row of the theater. Trevor was so funny with the talking and shushing people when they talked then asked if I was easily embarrassed and after I nodded with my hands on my face he goes “Oh, this is going to be fun” but when the movie started he was quiet. He did try to cover my eyes during the sex scene but I slapped his hand away because Justin in a sex scene? That’s hot. It reminded me of Eric. Movin on! It was an ok movie, not as good as I thought it was going to be, but I’m still glad I got to see it in the theater. After it was over we walked back to the car and I got a really funny text from Kay-See about karaoke Matt. As we crossed Broadway I could have sworn I saw Neil crossing the street so Trevor yelled his name but apparently it wasn’t him, though I know it really was. I know it! When we got back to Trevor’s I told him I had to go and we had another very tight lipped kiss and a nice hug then he slapped me on the butt, but mostly got thigh, so I told him to do it again and kind of stuck my butt out to give him a good shot at it. I took off for home then realized I forgot to give him the cookies. Oh well. So I ate some on the way home. Crawled into bed and listening to Jacques rustle around in the garment bag on the living room floor.

Monday 3/26, I talked to Trevor on my way to the store after work and made plans to hang out the next evening and see a movie or something, that made me all excited though my throat was hurting a little. At home I did a bunch of cleaning and talked to both Susan and Kay-See and told Kay-See to come over and bring cookies so I could tell stories from the wedding. I walked Jacques for a long time and I think he got more comfortable but he still isn’t clawing at the trees and climbing and stuff, but hopefully it will come. Just as I was finishing cleaning and starting dinner I heard Kay-See knock on the door so we hung in the kitchen while I made my salad then had some ham and we watched the videos I uploaded onto myspace of hot George then we started on the cookies, which basically meant that we ate a lot of cookie dough. I think I baked about 9 and put the rest of the dough in the freezer. These are the best cookies ever and I’m going to get the recipe because they put the Nestle ones to shame. Seriously. While Kay-See watched 24 I updated my blog and plotted our murder mystery party. It should be really fun. She left around 10:30 and I continued with my blog and went to bed kind of late.
