Wednesday 3/14, I ate a little after work, showered, fed Jacques and hit the road by 6:20 and made it into Seattle right before 7:00. Billy was all over my ass calling me so I told him I would call him when I parked. We met in front of the theatre to see Trevor in Fire on the Mountain and went in and got seated. Billy was very chatty but that’s nothing unusual and we were really excited for the show to start especially when we saw the set and all the instruments. Soon it started and we had pretty good seats, only about 5 rows back and right in the middle, so we had a great view of everything. I have to say that Trevor playing 5+ instruments was pretty fucking hot. Plus the show was EXCELLENT, really really good. I even got teary at one point, it was a really powerful play and Trevor’s dad has an amazing voice, I just want to take him home and have him sing to me all the time. Is that creepy? Yes? Ok, never mind. Onward! The singing and music were great and I would definitely see it again and am thinking about seeing if Mom wants to go because I think she would find it interesting. After it was over Billy and I both hit the bathroom and Billy was trying to call Trevor when I came out and all of a sudden Trevor was standing right next to us, he must have changed really quickly, so I got a hug (mmmm) and we decided to go over to McMenamin’s for some after show fun. Billy and I grabbed a booth while Trevor finished his cigarette (we’ll have to see about that) and we started perusing the menus. When Trevor got in I ordered a hot chocolate and he ordered artichoke dip and the Cajun tater tots for the table, yum! The three of us talked, but mostly Trevor and I flirted and talked but Billy managed to stay in there with the conversation. I wanted to call Kay-See because of her teasing voice mail but it was getting late at that point and I didn’t know how to sneak away. We talked about Neighbours and the kind of crowd there and after telling him that the last guy I dated I met there he asked, "Until he figured out he was gay?" then went on to say that you can find out how gay a guy is by how much he cringes when you say "vagina". We stayed there for a while until Trevor suggested we go do something else (and he picked up the tab, nice), like go to his house or to another bar or something and was like "We can make out or something...unless you already did with Billy" and I said that I hadn't and Billy was like "Subtle Trevor". Billy was going to roll and I decided since it was pushing 10:30 that I should probably head home so Trevor said he would walk us to our cars and mine was up first so we found it, by setting the alarm off, then I drove us over to Billy’s car. They tried out his new fiddle then Trevor got back into the car and I introduced him to Arcade Fire (This is me learning that he’s never heard Arcade Fire: “You’ve never heard Arcade Fire?! They’re amazing!”) as I drove him to his car. We were having fun talking and still flirting a little then I got him to his car and as we’re saying good bye and he’s thanking me for the Thin Mints he leans over like to hug me but kind of goes in for a kiss, but I didn’t understand because I thought we were doing more of a friend outing this time, so I kind of turned my head like for him to give me a kiss on the cheek then we kind of awkwardly hugged, cause we’re in the car, it’s always an awkward hug in the car, then he got out and said “We should keep in touch” or something like that, suggesting getting together again. So then I feel TOTALLY stupid, like, did I just give him the cheek?! Was he really going in for a kiss? The moment really wasn’t optimal so that’s why I was thrown. I contemplated calling him to ask if I just dissed him because that certainly wasn’t my intention, hells bells, I’d make out with him in a second, but I didn’t call him and I figure I’ll send him a message or see if he wants to go to Neighbours tomorrow (a good excuse to call I think) since he now knows that I go “religiously” and that straight guys are welcome they just have to be able to hang knowing the gay boys will sense fresh meat. It was fun and it was good to see him again and I am totally smitten like I was LIKE 3 MONTHS AGO. I drove home, talked to Jacques and laughed while he darted back and forth from my room to Kassie’s, then updated all this shit.

Tuesday 3/13, I rushed home to shower and get ready to go bowling with Kay-See and some of her crew from her old work. I got out of the house about 6:40 and headed out to West Seattle where I found the alley with no problem and went in. It was Kay-See, Bill and Nicholas (who I’ve had an ongoing semi-crush on / interest in now for a while) so I knew the evening would be fun. We had a good time, I mostly enjoyed watching Bill and Nikki take turns tag teaming Kay-See after she got a strike or provoked them in the slightest manner. The guy next to us made some snide comment to Kay-See and got her all riled up then he tried to blame it on Nikki which made her even madder. They were playing some really good songs, among the best were Jamiroquai, JT and Bon Jovi’s Livin on a Prayer and the worst being a Bob Marley song and some butt rock. There were a lot of boys there who I was introduced to and the ones I remember are Brandon, Jesse and Jake who were all very nice and were determined to get Kikki and me out to karaoke which was achieved when Jesse did his infamous “sad face” which included an arm around my shoulders. Kay-See knew it would work. Anyway, bowling was lots of fun even though I didn’t throw any balls down the lane, despite encouragement from the boys (“I have performance anxiety!”) and was made even funner when Kay-See and I pretended to make out and feel each other up and distracted Nikki and made him bowl a gutter ball with the funny video with pink ball. I talked to Nikki a little bit and I never realized how tall he is, 6’6” (!) and his brother is apparently even 2 inches taller than him and we talked about how hard it is to find clothes that fit, especially in the long sleeve department. Then I confirmed that Bill lives in the same building as Julien and Co. Um, there’s lots of other fun stuff but we’d be here all day, so eventually it was time to go sing at some place a few blocks down so Kay-See and I were ready to go but waiting on boys who were taking FOREVER but we used the opportunity to gossip and get the low down on everyone. We drove over together following Jake and went into Yan Woo Inn or something and started filling out song requests for Jesse and Jake who are apparently regulars and have been known to get a little rowdy (what was that story about a broken tv?). Then someone’s roommate Raj showed up and he was quite a good singer and very funny so I enjoyed my time sitting next to him. Then two Matts showed up, one really cute one not so much. All the boys were harassing us to pick something and sing and also bringing the microphones down to us to sing along to the choruses and “whoa-oh-ohhh” parts of a Genesis song. The one Matt was a little flirty and definitely had my attention the whole time. Luckily I thought to get my camera out and videotape when Jesse and Jake were singing Mr. Big’s To Be with You and got Matt in my shot, yes! While they were singing it they were like, “Who picked this song? It sucks!” and I was like “I did! It’s fantastic” and kept singing along to it. It was a lot of fun. It’s nice to have all that testosterone around, because even though there are always lots of boys at Neighbours, they’re mostly all gay and not really exuding testosterone, so this was a fantastic change of pace. Especially when the not cute Matt sang The Humpty Dance (which Kay-See sang along to almost the entire thing!) then some Salty Balls song which had all of us practically rolling on the floor. My face hurt from laughing so much so it’s safe to say it was really fun and I was in stitches the whole time. When we were talking to cute Matt Kay-See nudged me under the table and it felt so high school it was fantastic, I pinched her on the leg back and we giggled mischievously. Around 12:10ish we decided it was time to roll out and head home so we said our goodbyes (I had to slide across Jake’s lap to get out) and headed out. We found our way back to the alley where I dropped Kay-See off then drove home. I was tired.

Monday 3/12, Kassie was gone when I got up so I called her on the way to work and talked for quite a while which was nice and I’m excited for her to come back up again and luckily I probably won’t have to wait long. I got an email while at work from Jessica that Buck was going to be in town and hoping that it was ok that she told him to call me to hang out. Then I got an email from him and we set up plans to have a late dinner after he got in from London. Then right as I was about to leave work Billy called and we finalized plans for Wednesday and after I hung up with him I left my phone in my car for a few minutes and when I got in I had a missed call and message from Josh P seeing if I wanted to hang out when he’s in town next month and grab dinner or something downtown. I called him back and told him that sounded great and also that I’d be seeing him in a little over a week at Court’s wedding. Crazy! I got dressed for a walk and did my short one and when I got back talked to Kay-See about Tuesday plans and filled her in on all my boy plans. I ate a salad to tide me over until the late dinner then watched some OC and talked to Susan before showering and semi-getting ready to go out. I didn’t want to completely get ready in case Buck was too tired from his flight to go out and when 9:20 rolled around and he called to cancel I was glad I hadn’t applied mascara or put pants on. I heated up some spaghetti and continued watching I Love NY (Is it bad that I secretly hoped he would cancel so I could finish watching my show? Yes? That’s what I figured). Talked to Susan again and we made plans for Thursday and JT. Watched the news, read and went to bed.
