Monday 7/16, Aubrie was at home all day by herself but I checked in with her via myspace and it sounded like she was doing just fine so I wasn't worried. When I got home she was still in her pjs and thought it was hilarious. We snacked a little bit then decided to go on a walk so we drove down to Timberlake Park and walked down to the water and back a couple of times playing "fuck, live, cliff" and howling at the responses. We presented each other with some conundrums. Then we went to Office Depot where I picked up a new bulletin board for a sister art project then over to PCC for some dinner items. Talked to Mom and told her I would bake two angel food cakes and some corn bread for the family event and confirmed we would be celebrating my birthday on Wednesday while Aubs was still here. We ate dinner at the table and we laughed at how Aubrie didn't really like her dinner items but I know she liked dessert: frozen cookie dough! Yum. I did some cleaning and laundry then we put on Old School and started on the collage and she got a real hoot out of some of my clippings and was reading all the jokes I'd cut out. We created a pretty good collage and it's a lot less busy than the other ones I've done. I hung it in the entry way with the rest then we headed upstairs because it was fairly late. I uploaded some pictures to myspace then we took more with Aubrie looking like an amputee, I showered, we read in bed then went to sleep.
Sunday 7/15, I woke up at 8, gassed up, got Aubs up when I got back, got ready and hit the road to the market. We found decent parking right by RED then walked down and looked at all the delicious food and beautiful flowers and stuff. I got Mom some jam for her birthday (belated!) then we watched the cute boys throw fish and I showed her my hippie donut bf. We got a text from N saying that whenever we wanted to come over he was ready. We headed back to the car and drove over to Eastlake, parked very close to his house on account of it being Sunday and he came down and met us. Introductions were made then we walked up to 14 Carrot where we had a minimal wait for the best table in the house. N thought it was because there were two smokin hot girls in our party and the staff knew that that would draw the crowds in. We all did pretty well on our breakfasts and N was pretty good at asking Aubrie questions and engaging but she later said she could have ran around with her shirt off and he wouldn't have even looked up because he's smitten with me and didn't remove his gaze from me. Aww. Tee hee. Get a grip Karrah! Ok, so we decided to go to Madison Park to lay out and swim so we got our stuff and went up to his place to change into our suits and he played a little Bowie on the uke and the two of us sang to it then we kissed a little in the kitchen out of Aubrie's view. As I'm sure she probably would have thrown up. We drove down to Madison Park and found a good spot for people watching and getting our sun on (even though Aubrie clearly let us know that a park is NOT the same as a beach). It was pretty hot so N walked to the store for some sun screen and when he got back we all started lotioning up and Kassie called with some fairly huge news so then I told Aubs and N and we all just sat there like, shit, wow. Aubrie had the idea to give N a sun screen tattoo on his back so she made a medium size heart with an A and K in the middle and he left it there for a good half hour then he turned over onto his back and forgot about it and it smeared all over his towel, but I think it actually made a little bit of a tan. We put our feet in the water and N went all the way in tried to convince us to do the same but we weren't having it. Aubs laughed at some guy who twisted his ankle as he came down the hill and he totally saw her and wouldn't stop staring. N and I did a little beach kissing but nothing over the top. Aubrie was "so over it" so we packed up and left, drove back to Eastlake where we dropped N then headed home, stopping at two Albertsons where we picked up 6 pizzas for a fantastic deal. Aubs said the boy at my regular store who rang us up was staring intently at me like N was earlier and that she could have flashed him and he wouldn't have even glanced in her direction. She demonstrated this in the parking lot on the way to the car. We snacked a little bit at home and watched the rest of Beach while I tried to repair my bulletin board that I knocked down the stairs that had busted to smithereens, but it wasn't working so I bit the bullet and just transferred the art to a new one and threw the other one out. We then watched Happy Endings and I popped one of the pizzas in, we conquered then watched AFV because I got the downstairs tv working again, yay! Then it was part of EHM until we got distracted by videos N posted in a bulletin and the cat video again. We half watched Desperate Housewives while I copy and pasted messages. We stayed down there for a long time and finally headed up to bed where we both read before going to sleep.
Saturday 7/14, We woke up not that early and just laid around, playing on the computer and eating breakfast in bed. I talked to N who Aubrie was excited to meet, and we made plans for later in the day to go swimming and to hang out. Aubrie and I ended up just goofing around at home for a long time then decided to go into Issaquah to Sweet Addition for some cheesecake and coffee cake then over to BB&B for some items then to Target to try and find Dogma. We returned home and gathered our things then set out for Seattle to drive around and basically wait for N to call. We went to Gasworks first and watched a wedding party take pictures and these guys in space suits filming a video or something. We took a ton of pictures and laid in the sun then decided to take off toward Eastlake to go swing, so we did that for a while and took more pictures then down to U-Village to stop in Anthro and Lucky. I talked to Kay-See who filled me in on her prior evening's exciting events and said to call her back if we didn't hear from N. Aubrie and I went over to Pasta and Co. for some chicken filled tortellini with the Beecher cheese all baked together. It was delicious to say the least. I called N and left a message and he called back about 5 minutes later to say he was at home just hanging out because he was tired, so then I was confused because I thought we were hanging out. But apparently not. He said he would call us in a little while because he wasn't ready to throw in the towel on Saturday. I told him duh, it was only 7:30. So I called Kay-See back and asked if we could come over and sit on the deck, she said yes, and we went to get some dinner for her and gelato for us first. As we were walking back to her car I saw Michael from behind at the ATM and I was like "Michael!" and he turned around and it totally was. We chatted for a few minutes then he took off and we did the same. Back at K's we went up on the roof and started solving more of the mysteries of the world, namely, how to stay with one person forever. I think K cracked the code, but it doesn't make me think that I'll ever be close to finding it. N called back and said he was just going to stay in but asked if we would accompany him to breakfast the next day. None of us were pleased with this, well, the being ditched part anyway. Aubrie fell asleep on one of the lounge chairs while K and I continued to talk about the best kissers we've had, etc. then she got the text she'd been waiting for so we took off. Dropper her in Pioneer Square and wished her luck then we headed home and started Beach but stopped it about 3/4 of the way through to go to sleep.
Friday 7/13, Aubrie and I got up early and got a move-on because we were going to the Science Center to see Harry Potter on the IMAX screen. I dropped her off to make sure there were still tickets available because I didn't want to pay for parking then there be no tickets. There were, so she bought them, then we parked and walked down, stopping for pictures in front of the huge banner. The place was already totally full so we sat like 5 rows up from the front then Aubs spotted Alix which was totally random and hilarious. Part of the movie was in 3-D but it made my eyes hurt so I was glad it was only part of it. I enjoyed it and so did Aubrie because she got to see Ron and Harry on an enormous screen for a second time. We chatted with Alix a little after the show then headed into Ballard for some lunch at Hi-Life. First though, we stopped at the Ballard Bowl but didn't find any treats for Aubrie so we continued on. I let our waiter (the same one who had the crush on Kay-See a long time ago) pick my lunch and I was very pleased, and Aubs was pleased with her biscuits and gravy. We laughed all the way through lunch then did another walk-by of the park; still no boys though. We walked up to Cafe Besalu but it was closed for summer vacation so we walked back to the car and went to Green Lake. It was really hot but it felt good to burn off some of those calories from lunch, plus the people watching was fantastic. Especially this hot guy on a bike who passed us and I was like "Hel-lo!" and Aubrie was like "He-ayyyy" then we kept checking each other out as he was riding away. Before we knew it he was riding by again (damn he did that 3 miles quickly!) and he was like (very pleasantly) "Hello" so I said hi as Aubrie shielded her embarrassment. Finally a third time when he was riding by he stopped and said he wanted to stop and say hi and introduced himself as Jesse and was totally totally hot. Aubrie and I were wiping the drool from our mouths. We chatted for a few minutes then told him he'd made our day and he was like "Cheers!" as he rode away. Aubs thinks he was half Filipino or something, but I feel like he was just a mix of something, with that beautiful olive-y complexion. Mmmm. We headed toward home and stopped at MI at the skate park but of course there was NOT ONE PERSON there and it made me look like I didn't know what the hell I was talking about. We stopped at DQ on the way home and I got a very interesting cheesecake and oreo combination blizzard and we sat in the car eating. At home we hung out in my room and watched Wedding Crashers while playing on the computer and chatting with boys. We headed down to N. Rack where I got a bunch of underwear and she got some Hanky Pankys then over to OE She for some gyoza then to Target for a few essentials then we headed home and I updated this thing while we hung out and watched more tv or something.
