Friday 5/15, I left 15 minutes early from work and went home to finish packing and getting ready. Eric called and said he was in traffic and stressed but I didn’t want to go without him so I stayed and told him not to worry. At 6 Dad called and had landed. Eric arrived minutes later and we left with no traffic all the way to the airport. Picked Dad up and headed to Southcenter and nixed Claim Jumper and went to Newport Bay instead. We had a nice dinner but it wasn’t great. Lots of good chit chat, however. Back in the car we went to the airport and I said bye to Dad and Eric and off I went to check in and through security and bought some ridiculously overpriced chapstick on the way to the gate. I can’t believe I forgot to put my Nivea in my purse when I switched. I texted K and read some mags and ipod-d it. I talked to Eric and Dad who were trying to figure out the cruise control, then Eric again as I was walking through Fireworks and Eric put me on speakerphone so I could talk to Castor and Eric said his ears perked up and I told him to be a good boy. I was scoping out cute guys and waiting for K and finally she arrived and we were so excited and looked at all the super hot guys going to Houston. Plus we saw Joe Ph*m’s roommate from senior year, Cameron, I think. We got seats together in the exit row but I had to sit next to a big fat guy who kept coughing and shifting and bumping me every time I’d fall asleep. I probably got 45 minutes total sleep on that flight, which left at midnight (landing at 5am). It looked like K slept almost all of the 3.75 hour flight.

Thursday 5/14, I corresponded with LPC all day and there was some minor flirting that I reported to Kay-See. We're going to have a "dog-date" when I get back. Castor and I went to the park and did a mile and a half and he was sluggish and eating lots of grass. We went home and I started on my stuff and got almost everything done, including painting the windowsill and cubby. I talked to Eric twice and he couldn't believe I was ditching him to watch tv and I couldn't believe he thinks Cindy Crawford is so foxy. I can’t remember what I was watching but I probably stayed up a bit later than I should have and kept packing and prep for the next day.

Wednesday 5/13, Jenifer called and wanted to meet me to have me sign more paperwork for the loan. I told her to meet me at Bellevue Square. I went and picked up the lights then over to the mall and let Castor out to pee. I went in and called Susan and met her at tmobile then back over to Nordstrom to wait for J. I looked around but didn't buy anything, of course. She arrived and I signed everything and she said she wants to do the appraisal before I leave, eek. Lots of cleaning to do. Susan and I wandered around trying to find dresses, headbands and jewelry for the big day. We talked and laughed and I got in trouble at Claire's and we laughed about it. We hit VS and Susan tried on bras and decided on one then let me have the free panty (sorry Susan). We walked to my car then took off and I realized I forgot the loan docs at VS so I had to re-park and run all the way to the other side of the mall and grabbed them then back and home. I fed Castor who seemed to be starving and I hoped not bummed because we couldn't go for a walk due to rain. I ran around doing stuff, packing, and contemplated writing to LPC but didn't because I needed to keep moving. I’ve had him on the brain lately. I got quite a bit done and to bed after 11 after reading a bunch out of my Belize book. I think I figured out that Castor is allergic to peanuts because I gave him peanut butter the night before and all day at work he was licking and itching like crazy.

Tuesday 5/12, Found out some interesting information about our resort in Belize and corresponded with one of the staff over the past two days to try and figure out what their system is. Called Kay-See on the way home and she sounded a little stressed but I think settled her down by the end of it. Went home and found a note from Eric saying he had gone for a run and when he got back he got ready. I did some laundry and started on my packing. We went to the store on MI and picked up some root beer float ingredients and some regular stuff I need for the week. Eric claimed a woman in a green trench coat winked at him. I didn't see her, but was dying to. I went to the bank for some $$ then over to Grandma's where she was on the pot. Eric got the floats started and I enjoyed mine then we got Grandma settled and she started in. We talked about all sorts of stuff and her Scarlet Fever when she was 6 and how she hated drinking milk but loved root beer floats. We stayed for an hour and a half then took off but I forgot something at the store so we went back then home. Eric started the turkey stoganoff and it was delicious. The BL finale was on and Eric could only make it through an hour of it and sadly by 10 I realized it was on until 11, ughh. I went upstairs and Eric was going to bed so I finished watching it while doing more Ambergris Caye research.

Monday 5/11, Castor and I went home so I could change into my workout wear then headed up to the park where did a two mile run / walk. He was pooped by the end and we headed home where we settled right down. I ate leftover curry for dinner and it was really good. I watched GG but don't think I did much else the rest of the night.

Sunday 5/10, Eric eventually came upstairs around 3 or 4 probably. I had an idea to go down to Pike Place for flowers for Grandma so when we started waking up I told Eric. He wanted to delay getting the morning going and I complied. We rolled out of the house with Castor by 10. We found parking on 3rd and walked down and Castor pooped twice and Eric almost died it was so big. Down at the market I perused the flowers and picked up bouquet and all the flowers were so pretty. While I was looking for chocolate Mom called and we talked briefly about the house we saw then I told her I'd be by later to drop off some stuff. I went to Delaurentis and got two chocolate bars: one with raspberries and one mint chocolate. Eric kept Castor out by the pig and people wanted to pet him but he had no interest. We walked back up to the car and went to Mercer Island to Grandma's. Eric went to the bookstore and I went in and surprised her and she was very happy. It was cute. We cut up the chocolate for her and talked for an hour and a half and told her we'd come by on Tuesday for root beer floats. We went home for some lunch and Eric made a good turkey, rice dish. We ate that up I watched some Tudors while Eric watched a little basketball or something then decided he wanted to run so he went all the way to the coal mines and back - 7 miles. I talked to Mom for a while then Dad about Friday. Eric made the pasta he got from the market (lemon and chive) with mushrooms and asparagus - Dad was leaning toward gay. I watched my shows and Eric went upstairs before we both turned in.

Saturday 5/9, I woke up before 8 but managed to fall back asleep until 9. I got up and called Eric to find out where he was and he was a ways out so I put on my workout clothes and headed up the hill with Castor and jogged a mile and a half and made him run up and down the big grassy hill two times. Back at home I ate breakfast and started cleaning and Eric showed up at 11. I kept cleaning and he took off on his bike for the market. I showered and took off for the market too and met him and we got some lunch but mine took forever (taco truck). We sat on a bench and talked about why we didn't want children. Got a little dessert and decided to go home. I took off in the car and called Kay-See to see if she wanted to come over for dinner and she did. At home I started painting the little cubby and got that done then went upstairs and cleaned the windowsill so I can paint that next. The carpet guy, Kevin, arrived and talked me into a different one and to redo the top of the stairs and got that ordered. We went to go see an open house that looked really cool online and I loved it and thought how much Mom would like it and the property. The realtor gave us an entire tour and we were there for quite a while looking at everything. He told us to come to his open house the next day too. We went over to Alexander Lighting and I picked out two lights for the bedrooms but they weren't in stock so Eric will pick them up on Tuesday. We went to the store for dinner supplies and saw Dick in the parking lot and he said how much he enjoyed showing us around. At home we chilled out and K arrived shortly after. We hung out looking at houses and talking and snacking on some avo, rice crackers and manchego. Soon we started on dinner and K was a great help with chopping and preparation (veggie curry with potatoes, carrots and spinach). Dinner was done and we all ate a bunch then Eric made dessert: vanilla ice cream mixed with coconut milk and refrozen accompanied by mango, kiwi and papaya. We put on Can't Hardly Wait and ate our dessert and laughed all the way through it. Eric fell asleep and at 10 it was over and K took off and I took Castor out. I cleaned up the kitchen a bit and Eric moved to the couch to sleep and I did this and watched 48 Hours and the news. He didn't want to go upstairs and just wanted to sleep on the couch so I left him. Watched some of SNL with JT and talked to Alix about being home.

Friday 5/8, I took Castor for a walk on the trail and Sos called to invite me to Chen Du or whatever with her Mom but I didn't want to spend the money, overeat and had planned to eat broccoli, carrots and rice for dinner. I took him on a mini-walk then headed home and made dinner. Called Sos to see if she wanted to go to Costco Home with her Mom but she ended up passing. I watched a couple episodes of Tudors then took Castor out and got my new AD in the mail. Looked at that until 11:30.

Thursday 5/7, Eric left early in the morning but then right before I had to get up he came back in and said Bill had given him the day off and that he was going to cuddle with me for a little bit. He went downstairs and made Castor's breakfast and made mine too and said he would take Castor for the day (even to a meeting, apparently). I slept in and it was very nice. We watched the news together as I ate my breakfast then got ready and headed out. I called Mark the painter and asked if he could go over and check out the job while Eric was there and he said yes. Finally. He called back and told me he'd been there and I'd see him when I got home. When I arrived the boys weren't there because Eric had taken Castor up the hill to the park. When he got home he showed me he got the outside light up, nailed down the trim piece and got the last knob put on the cabinet below the sink. He asked if I wanted to go to Pogacha for happy hour and we saw that they have all night happy hour on Thursdays. I called Sos to see if she wanted to meet us and told us her mom had just arrived from WI and they were going out to dinner but she hates Pogacha so we'd meet up later. We went into Issaquah and got a good table and put our order in (one pogacha each and the garlic cheese fries). We talked about Trixie Ricksy and how we want to hook K up with him. When we were done we went to REI and Eric got Castor a new collar and jaunty red scarf. I got a new Sigg and some soap. We went to Sos' and walked down Front to meet Sos and the crew. Hugs all around and then inside to chat. Eric told them his plan to go to PDX and Jake doesn't want to go but Sos wants to so we'll see what happens. At 8 we said bye and took off for home. I watched Ugly Betty then Office then took Castor out and got ready for bed and Eric was already asleep. I watched Southland too and looked at houses online. Lights out at 11.

Wednesday 5/6, I took Castor for a quick walk on the trail after work since he'd missed out on most of all his other walks throughout the day because of the heavy rain. I talked to Kass for a while about her upcoming two weeks and being gone and opening the Green Joint and also about the dogs and drama there. When I pulled into my driveway I saw Eric's car and I was like "Heyyyy!" and was excited to see him, since I didn't expect to until Saturday. I went in and he was upstairs watching some baseball. I did a little paint touchup and filled some holes to finish my paint job in the stairway. Eric started dinner and I put dishes away then sat on the couch looking for Biggest Loser online (no luck). Eric made a delicious turkey stroganoff that I had three helpings of (!) then some ice cream as we watched Scrubs. It wasn't a very good season ending, and I suspect it was a series ending as well. I cleaned the kitchen and took Castor out then we went upstairs and Eric wanted to watch a depressing WWII special so I took my time in the bathroom so I didn't have to listen to it. I fell asleep before he did.

Tuesday 5/5, I talked to Susan on the way home and later when she needed a little traffic advisory. We also discussed her plans for after the big event and how Chrystol and Schuyler want to come to the afterparty. I got home and Eric had been there for a while and had finished up some stuff for me, which was extremely helpful. He was also on a fried rice kick again so he whipped some of that up. After we ate we went up to a new park by my house and walked around on the trails. This lady in a bathrobe from the condos bordering the park came out and she was British and she was talking to her mini-Pin and was like "Oh look Spencey, you didn't expect that" then "Spencey" tried to lunge at Castor. Of course. Castor ignored him and we kept going. We went back down to the house and Mom called to confirm which flight she was booking Aubs on so I booked our tickets from MN to Seattle as well. I watched part of BL but Eric and I had a date so at a quarter after I turned it off and showered and climbed into bed and we got down to it. It was a double header. Went to bed.

Monday 5/4, Had a dream about LPC. He gave me this book of all the pictues he'd taken of me while we were dating (in real life he only took one picture of me). There were all these arty semi-nude shots and I was really touched in my dream. In real life I would probably ask him to delete those pictures and hide the book under my bed or something. Nevertheless, it's the second really nice dream I've had about him. Strange. Called Doug in the morning about the proposal and not needing to come to the meeting because they would probably not go for it. Called Mark to set up a time for painting instructions; he has to check his calendar to see which morning will work. Uncle Brad called and we talked windows and tax breaks and I said I'd forward the proposal. Got off work early and headed down to Factoria to meet with Jenifer and Joe. I got there early and Monique called with another house lead, but I said I'd seen it and not interested; I think she was a little put off. I picked up a watermelon at QFC for Eric. Met with J & J and had a really nice time, they are very on top of everything and I'm hoping I can lock in the 4.375, that would be insane. Going to Belize might make things a mite trickier, but hopefully not. That ran long, until like 6:30 so I missed the homeowner's meeting; oh well. I left and went home and Zeph called on the way to give him his stats and would call later and to call Kay-See, so I called her and she said she'd call when she was leaving dinner later on and said a hug would make it worth the trip over. Went home to find Eric excited to show me all the stuff he'd gotten done: patch the bathroom outlet hole, heater hole, change out outlet and cable front in the living room, set trim piece in kitchen and fixed the lights in the bathroom. It's looking better and better. We popped the lasagna in the oven for 15 minutes and made out in the kitchen then sat down and watched WoF and part of Jeopardy then I turned on my RH video and made Eric watch the various videos until GG came on. Eric went upstairs and watched baseball. At 9 Zeph called and said he was on his way. Took Castor out and by 9:30 he arrived on the front door. We started chatting and Eric came down and we talked for a long time then K showed up and we continued chatting then Eric went to bed and we were talking until 11:15 or so then they filed out and I'm glad he called and wanted to get together. He makes me laugh. I went upstairs and Eric was out. I finished watching the episode of Frasier that was on and went to bed.

Sunday 5/3, We couldn't sleep in, of course, so we snuggled for a little bit then got up. I left the house by 8:40 to head into Kirkland for a walk with Kay-See and Bethany. I arrived first and took Castor around trying to get him to "eliminate" before the walk so I wouldn't have to carry anything around. K arrived next and I told her a little about the house then B showed up and Castor liked her dog (Bernese Mt) Nelly. We got going and let the dogs off for a little bit on the bridge and Castor actually wanted to play! What?! I was like "I don't think he's being aggressive, I think he might be trying to play...?" It was funny. We got a nice little walk in and talked about bfs' mothers and how nuts they can be. Not naming anyone specific. We got back and I needed to feed Castor so I said my goodbyes and as I was walking to my car I could hear my phone so I checked and it was Sos and we talked all the way until I got home and need to get together soon. When I got there Eric was still there and had gotten a lot of stuff done and took me around and showed me. It was cute. He decided to go for a bike ride into Issaquah so I took that opportunity to relax and do some other stuff, then showered and got ready. He arrived shortly after and got ready as well and we set out to get some lunch at Cascade Garden. We both got lunch specials and it was pretty good then over to QFC for some things then back home where we relaxed. I suggested going to the park and DQ afterward so we looked up some parks and headed into the Eastgate park. We parked down below and walked up and found this crazy ropes course way up in the air and trees. We walked around and Castor loved it then back down to sit at the Stonehenge-style artwork table thing then back to the car. We went to DQ and I got a blizzard and Eric wanted to stop by the store for a watermelon. On our way home we stopped to pick up a flyer for a house I've been curious about and learned it's $850k and sits on a beautiful piece of property. At home Eric was on a fried rice kick so he whipped some up and I had a little and it was good. We watched DH and went to bed after.

Saturday 5/2, I got up at like 7:30 and got my workout clothes on and Castor and I went up to the park and ran around a couple times for our morning workout. At home I ate some breakfast and started on my chores. It was a day full of them. Eric arrived at 9 and that's when it really started. He was up at 4:15 and had already been to work for 4 hours and then worked at my house all f-ing day. He's a machine. He started on the bathroom light while I vacuumed and ran around. We had a lot of trouble with it and decided to go to Home Depot before going to see the house. We found some stuff we needed (decorative screws and new outdoor light) then over to Lamps Plus where we saw the light was all janky there too so Eric felt better, though we knew we'd get it to look better than that one. Over to the house and looked at stuff around there then Monique showed up and we went in. It smelled a little, like old people or something, and it was a little disappointing because the downstairs was a disaster and the rooms upstairs were pretty small. The main floor was fine though and has tons of potential. We talked a little about it outside and Monique thinks if I'm seriously considering buying a house I need to look around a bit more. I don't disagree but I'm not in a house buying mindset, I just liked the idea of this particular house. We went home and kept plugging away and I got some laundry done and some painting and more helping Eric and more vacuuming and getting cobwebs and organizing. It was such an action packed day but we got sooo much done. At 6 we stopped and went to the store to do our shopping for dinner since C & S were coming over. When we got home I probably took Castor out and Eric started on dinner. I unwound and ate chips and dips while Eric carried on. They arrived after 7 and we snacked and talked and had dinner pretty soon after. We sat in the living room and continued talking and were bummed when Cops wasn't on. We hung out in the living room for the rest of the night and we showed them the work Eric did and they stayed until about 11:15 then took off as I was cleaning up the kitchen. Eric went to sleep soon after and I stayed up until after midnight before lights out.

Friday 5/1, I woke up at like 5 and couldn't go back to sleep to save my life. Still thinking about the house. Went online to do a little more mortgage investigations. Talked to the painter, talked to the carpet guy (appt next Sat) and talked to Monique and set up a time to see the house tomorrow (2pm). I'm excited. I was so tired when I went home I just wanted to take a nap but I had stuff to do. I had called Kass a few times to get John M's number to try and refi because I was coming up empty. I found Jenifer's number in an old email and left a message. Eric called and I was telling him how tired I was and everything then a 206 number beeped in and it was Jenifer and she was so thrilled I'd found her and got all sorts of info out of me so we could get started. She's a firecracker and she remembered where my place is and other random things from like 4 years ago. I talked to her for a while and wrote down what I needed to get together for our Monday meeting. We hung up and I called Eric back and we talked for a long time and even as I took Castor up to the park for a walk we continued to talk and we did a lap and a half I think, hmm, or maybe two. Can't remember, but some little dog went after Castor. What is it with little dogs and being so aggressive? Jeez, my dog never comes near you, stay away from him! Poor Castor, just steers clear. Went home and probably made some dinner, talked on the phone and watched tv? I think I did some cleaning and prep for the next day.
