Saturday 6/5, Eric left really early considering he didn't have to be to work until 8:30. I woke up at 6:30, tried to go back to sleep, no luck, finally got up at 7:30. Gassed up at Costco, took Castor for a run when I got back (2 miles) then showered and got ready and headed down to Rainier Valley to get my oil changed. Texted LPC but he was sleeping, apparently. Back home and wanted to go to sleep but didn't. Eric came home and I was sleepy. Beautiful day out. He wanted to go golfing with Schuyler so I told him to have fun. Mom came over and we watched Brizo sun herself on the back patio and keep guard of the deck all day. It was so funny. Mom and I went to Ace for twine and rose black spot stuff then home. We did quite a bit of work in the front getting the magnolia trained and getting the hydrangea all tied back. Also, cut a bunch of roses and they smell diviiiiine. Mmm. Even Eric likes it, and he's a boy. We tied some of the roses back too, and I cut a bunch of black spot leaves off. The courtyard looked really good after that. We sat inside and talked then Chrystol called asking if I wanted to help with her registry and did I ever! Mom took off and I had to direct C how to get to the house from Redmond. LPC texted back. We looked online at a few things then headed down to Bellevue Square. We were in Macy's forever and we got her a registry started with like 9 things, which was HUGE. Can't make decisions but she made a couple! We were there for at least an hour then up to Pottery Barn where we got her registered there too with a rug and some hand towels. It was almost 9 so we picked the boys up from William Sonoma and we rolled out. Went up to Szechuan Chef and I got the broccoli beef and some soup. Schuyler's garlic green beans were so good I'm getting those next time. We had a good time talking then home. They stayed for an hour or so and we talked around the table then they took off. I got into bed and watched SNL for a little bit but dozed off.

Friday 6/4, Donut day! Too bad I didn't get one. Took castor for a walk I think, ate leftovers for dinner then went out in search of donuts. Stopped at Whole Foods first for a razor (recycled yogurt cups for the handle and no animal testing!) then down to Top Pot, which was closed, damn! We decided on Bellevue Square and had a Specialties cookie instead, then a small orange julius, which wasn't as good as I remember. We walked around, went through Nordstrom, tried on some shoes, into Hugo Boss and a guy with funny hair kept asking us questions and was really trying to get Eric into a suit. On the way home Eric was irritating me with an argument so I think I barricaded myself in the room and went to bed early.

Thursday 6/3, Wanted to go to First Thursday so asked Eric and he was in and he asked C&S but they had stuff going on. I was off work a little early and headed home, cleaned up a bit then took Castor and Nyx for a spin around the park. Eric was home and getting dinner together. I sat down and started feeling really tired. I took a really long shower which made me even more tired. Put on pjs and relaxed, ate then knew we really weren't going out. Oh well. Watched Office and ate chocolate chips then climbed into bed at 8. Looked at stuff online for an hour then fell asleep at 9. It was still light out.

Wednesday 6/2, I rushed home and Eric was already there getting everything looking nice and changed into his running clothes. Kristel arrived and they took off on their run. I hopped in the shower and Jess was on her way, arriving shortly after I dressed. I took her for a tour and she pet all the dogs. We sat on the couch and she started filling me in on all the drama that had transpired since Easter. Wael, Portugal, Karl and a few other hilarious events. Eric and Kristel came back so we finished the story outside and then back inside. We left pretty quickly after that for Palomino where Kristel snagged a table in the bar. We ordered a ton of food and Jess had two glasses of wine and it was $40. Steal. We talked about Jess' dating experiences and how to "power through" and we were all dying. She was trying to get some sexting going with the Quebequois. At 8 we headed upstairs to the theater where I was told to check my pizza. Seriously. We found decent seats considering the theater was packed. Jess texted through most of it which was hilarious. I liked the movie and there was a lot of eye candy, of all sorts, so that was fun. It was almost 11 when we left. Said bye to Kristel and headed out. At home we took the dogs out and Jess smoked. Back inside we talked in her room until midnight then I got ready for bed. Had a shitty night's sleep.

Tuesday 6/1, Lish's birthday. Decent day back at work after the three day weekend. Eric had the house all cleaned up and looking nice when I got home. We took off pretty quickly for All the Best (got the thundercoat for Castor) and Costco. Picked up the composter and wandered then home. I had leftover turkey pasta that was really really good (Eric made over the weekend), fed the dogs and we watched tv. Jess cancelled until the next day for SatC with Kristel. We watched Wipe Out and laughed a lot then I went in the bedroom and got ready for bed. Eric fell asleep on the couch. Lights out by 10:30. Had bad dreams that Craig from Bachelor was killing the neighbors with a machine gun. Yikes.

Monday 5/31, Kristel's alarm was going off at 7:30 or so and we got up and ready. I ate some breakfast then packed up, Mom was cleaning and off we went around 8:30. Had a nice drive and didn't really hit traffic. Talked and talked all the way over. Rainy weather on the west side. Sunny on the east when we woke up. Still want to come back for Kristel's 30 1/2 birthday. Took Mom and Dad to the airport, hugs and kisses and started home. Eric was prepping carne asada for the night's dinner, yum, smelled so good. I looked at all the stuff he did in the yard and it looked great, but no fence posts in the ground. Jess called and cancelled, rescheduled for Tuesday. I showered and we laid around and eventually we went up to Crossroads so I could get more Recoil. We wandered through Pier 1 and I found some dining room chairs I like. Eric told me what he wants the kitchen to look like and I'm not really on board. That project is a ways out though. Bought a composting can for the kitchen at BB&B then headed back home talking about flashy cars (Land Rover vs bright yellow Corvette). We decided to watch Happy Endings then it was time for Eric to do dinner. He made guac, I brushed Castor, fed the dogs and put the enzymes in the doggie dooley. We ate dinner a bit late. Started watching Bachelor then the terrible True Beauty (or whatever) show in bed. Eric fell asleep, I stayed up until the end.

Sunday 5/30, We were up by 7:30, laid in bed until 8:30 talking, then got up, dressed and went into Plain to get coffee and see the new cute things at the hardware store. The new cafe was packed. We perused but didn't buy anything. Back at home Dad made us blueberry french toast and after gobbling down a few pieces we took off for a walk up to the train tracks (3 miles roundtrip) and saw one cute jogger. I've never seen so many people over there, it was crazy. People everywhere. Mom was ready when we got back so we piled into the car and started our drive to Wenatchee, which Kristel hasn't been to since she was little. We went to Costco and got a ton of samples and Mom got me a gift card for the composter. Gassed up, went to Fred Meyer to use the bathroom then back over the river talking about relationships and longevity and chemistry. Drove down the main street downtown to go to our favorite shop but it was closed. Back through Wenatchee and stopped at the milk shake place for chicken strips, fries and a big chocolate milk shake. Next we drove through Cashmere and they have TWO bakeries; Kassie's going to die. Really cute and they have a bowling alley. Looked at cute houses then back to the ranch. Kristel fell asleep for 20 minutes during the drive and Mom and I talked about female singers and how the percent of straight guys who listen to Madonna is probably 0. We went upstairs to relax and talked at length about relationships and sex. Mom called us that dinner was ready and I told her about the phone and she thought it was as weird as I did. Oh well. Dinner was soooo good. Gigantic steaks, potatoes, corn and apple boats. I ate all of mine then took all the fat and bones to the dogs next door and they loved it. K was trying to see what the neighbors were eating (various potato chips and nuts). Her and Dad started falling asleep as we watched tv so I got her up and we went upstairs (it was 9ish) and put on SatC (the movie) and I fell in and out of sleep from about half way through to the end. She stayed awake. We talked a little more after it was over before going to bed.

Saturday 5/29, Up at like 6:20, heard a dripping noise, irritating. Finally got up around 7:30 and started my day. Ate breakfast, packed, showered and hit the road by 8:20 without Eric and the dogs. He was going to stay home to do yard work (his choice, I wanted him to come). Traffic was a bitch from Woodinville through Skykomish; however, I passed a lot of people and thankfully there weren't a lot of cars coming from the other direction which allowed me to make up for some lost time. I made it to the property by 10:30. Mom and Dad weren't expecting me that early. I sat inside with Mom for a long time talking while Dad worked on his tractor and filled the foundation for the new garage with dirt so the concrete floor could be poured. Mom made me some lunch and we called Eric to say hi and give him some instructions on the trees (nice side out). We went outside to help Dad and I rode around on the tractor with him for a half hour or so as he took the dirt from one side of the driveway into the new garage. I helped Mom pick up all wood for a burn pile and we coerced Dad to knock down the high branches with the tractor bucket and wished Eric was there so he could stand in the bucket and take the chainsaw to the really high ones. We were out there for a long time talking and laughing and almost getting run over by Dad. We called him and the tractor the "Silent Killer"; the tractor noise is so constant that you never can tell when it's getting close to you or not and Dad's not looking around completely while driving. Kristel showed up at 4 and I took her in and we got her a snack. We went out to look at the progress and for Kristel to say hi to Mom and Dad then helped Mom move all the rocks and strategically placed the ex-bf rocks. Mom was mad people hadn’t been signing their rocks. Back inside we chatted with Mom and she told us the long version of the night she met Dad. We were really cracking up. Dad came in and he got ready, then Mom and we talked some more and eventually took off for Headwaters for dinner and karaoke. The place was packed and there were a couple cute guys and lots of soccer. We got two pizzas and talked, talked, talked. Mom was getting after it and before long she was telling us Kenny Chesney had arms "like, bam!" and snapping her fingers. We were dying. She also gave Kristel a few tips: Never marry a car salesman, never buy your own wedding ring and find a pen that works. Oh, and Bobs are out. The three of them did a jello shot then the karaoke started and the entire bar sang "Sweet Caroline" and Dad kept hootin and hollerin. It was hilarious. Next Kristel's bf with the long goatee sang (but not really at all) "Brown Eyed Girl". I don't think he could read. Dad took care of the bill and soon we were on our way to tour the lake front homes and Kristel and I wanted to come back and pick up for sale fliers to find out what they're going for. Some are sooo cute. We continued driving and it was absolutely beautiful out there. I want to talk Skylar into buying one. Diversify, that's what I say. On our way back we drove through the state park and it was packed. Back home Mom explained she did not want to see any of our neighbors in their swimsuits and K and I were dying thinking of the "hot dad" and Mom was like "Who do you want to see in their swimsuit? No one!" because she doesn't know about the hot dad thing. Back in the motorhome we had some sweet treats then up to the loft. Kristel was tired (it was 10ish) so we got ready for bed and crashed.

Friday 5/28, Home a little early and decided to take Castor and Nyx for one time around the park because the weather wasn't great and I didn't want Castor pooping everywhere while I tried to run. Eric made breakfast sandwiches for dinner that were very good using the ham. Around 8 he suggested we go out for dessert so we took the Saturn and cruised up to Crossroads but decided to go to Kidd Valley instead after making a stop at the bank. Apparently the car is too low to use the drive up ATM. Hilarious. I laughed so hard. I got an Oreo shake and we went to Super Supplements and I got Castor's crazy pills then headed home. I was stuffed from my shake. I think we ended up watching tv for a bit, but I don't remember what. Went to bed not too late I think.

Thursday 5/27, Home a bit early and Eric was already there. We both got ready for our workouts and I took off with Castor. It was a real shit storm (poop-wise). We did two times around and it took forever. I took a picture of the lake and sent it to Eric. 2 guys fishing. He wasn't back when I returned so I cleaned up then found a note saying he'd gone to Chipotle (didn't want ham apparently) for our dinner and to pick up some milk. I figured he hadn't run, but when he returned he told me he'd done three miles and totally beat me back from my slow ass two miles. Castor really slows me down, but I guess that's not the point. We ate dinner and watched tv. I didn't want to watch crappy reruns of anything so I showered and climbed into bed. I read for a while then took the dogs out and crashed. It was 10.

Wednesday 5/26, Mom and Dad got up when I did and stayed after I left. Stayed a bit late at work to finish some things up. Eric was preparing a ham but it would take a while so he suggested I eat something else. I had a couple pieces of pizza then half of one of his sandwiches. At 8 I watched SatC the Movie and laughed at the parts I’d forgotten about. Excited to see the new one but don't have plans to do so yet. Eric and I didn't go to bed until after 10.

Tuesday 5/25, Talked to Mom and Dad and they were running a little late coming down from Snoqualmie. Into the shower when I got home. Eric was already showered and getting the house cleaned up and lighting candles. Mom and Dad arrived around 6:30 and Dad got the title transferred to Eric on the Saturn then we all walked around looking at the house and yard. We took off to Outback for dinner and had a fun time talking of Disneyland, wild animal park and trip to MN. Kass might come this weekend, not sure. We took off for DQ and Dad and I had treats and we talked about the DQ in Montana where everyone stared at us. Back at home we watched the BL Finale and Dad kept up with the commentary and made me laugh. “Oh, didn’t win!” After it was over I took the dogs out and we all got ready for bed and to sleep at 11.

Monday 5/24, I got off work a little early, headed home and Alix was there. I talked her into going for a walk at the park and she relented. Eric took care of getting dinner squared away and arrived home shortly after we did. Two pizzas and he whipped up my favorite salad. We ate in the dining room and talked about school, her internship and living down near PDX. We sat on couch after and talked / watched tv. Mom told me her and Dad were going to come stay the next night so I started cleaning. It wasn't all that exciting for Alix so she headed home (around 9). Eric went into full swing and dusted everything and got the vacuum out. I did the bathroom. Went to bed with a nice clean house.

Sunday 5/23, I slept way in, like 9. Whoa. I was so tired and still didn't want to get up but knew I needed to. Eric had already taken care of the dogs. I knew Kristel was running until about noon so I had some time to do stuff around the house and relax. She called and said she would come over to my place (I thought I was going to hers for the afternoon) since she was hiking after lunch. We went down to Factoria to Stone Lotus or something (Vietnamese), a place Eric and I have always wanted to try. It was really good and we got some tropical spring rolls that were delicious. My crispy noodles were really really good too and I ate them all. Full. On our way back home we stopped at the Subaru / VW dealership and wandered around trying to figure out which car I should buy next. We felt very popular with all those boys introducing themselves and showing us videos of their cats, and making fun of me and suggesting I drive a little truck and saying I'm crazy because I hate Foresters for a ridiculous reason. We had fun though and I didn't come any closer to knowing what I want. We decided if you ever feel lonely you should just go to a dealership because everyone wants to say hi to you there! It's their job! They want the commission! Back home and went next door to see the open house (sad he's moving, wahhh!) but good to know his house is on the market for $525k and it's not all that nicer than mine inside. Yes! Tiny kitchen and bathrooms need a gut job like mine. Kristel took off after that and I'm not sure where Eric was. I think I may have napped, can't remember. He wanted pho for dinner so we went into Bellevue for it, I had more spring rolls since I wasn't all that hungry from stuffing myself at a late lunch. We were there for a while then over to Shnoo or whatever and I tried the chocolate this time with oreos. We ate in the car and marveled at where all these pedestrians were coming from. Next over to B&N and looked at a history book Eric wants. Stopped at the store on the way home for some cereal and stuff. I showered when we got home then the fun started. By the time we were done it was, um, like 10:15. Showered and crashed out.

Saturday 5/22, Up earlyish and went for a run. Two times around I think. Mom came over and we talked about the yard and mapped out the screen and door scenarios. I still think french doors are better but she wants doors on tracks so the opening is 8 feet to the patio. Eric moved all the cut up wood into the pool room then hooked up our new rain barrel (which was full by the end of the day and overflowing). Mom stuck around for a while but finally left so I could shower and get ready. RH Eric texted asking if we were still on, I confirmed. After I got ready Eric and I were watching FC and Eric called. I got his new address, took off and talked to Dad on the way. He asked if Eric was coming and I told him no, and that he trusts me. I found his place fine, got a big hug, still not his svelte self, saw the place and took off for downtown Ballard. He told me about his job (B*lmar) and played with the radio. He showed me his long-ish red mop. Totally cute. We decided to go to that Caribbean place that I can't remember the name to now, but he predicted he would want avo on his sandwich so we stopped into QFC. We walked around, got our stuff, laughed a lot, I told him to cut it open with his sword tattoo behind his ear, left with the avo in the cup holder. We drove down but the line was too long for Eric to want to wait so back into Ballard. We parked and walked over to a Puerto Rican (or something) place and talked about how he used to take his shirt off when he danced. It made me laugh so hard. The image. Good times. Sat at the bar and talked talked talked. I ordered some pork bowl and he told me I'd like pigeon peas (beans) and tricked me. He asked me if I like spicy yet. Nope. Told me about Jaks (Team, not gang) and Hell's Angels from when he was working in Georgetown (don’t fuck with em because you’ll get your ass kicked). I asked him what he meant about his text and the baby and he said he was referring to me. Kristel said later "Ohh, look at you and your game". So funny. It was a lot of fun and I still hold a little candle for him. We left and went down the street to get our lotto tickets. If I won I would take him to St. Martin and if he won he would take me to Grand Cayman. Fair. We walked back to the car talking about him getting his pink slip from N but I think they'll work it out. I dropped him at a friend's and headed home, calling Eric on the way. He wasn't home when I arrived (out shopping for dinner) so I took the dogs out and started cleaning, laundry, etc. The house looked decent. Eric worked on dinner and went all out. Cheese, fruit, olives, meat, then dinner was dijon rubbed chicken with herbs de Provence, creamed spinach and roasted potatoes. Chrystol and Schuyler came over around 6:45 and we all ate and chatted. Nice long dinner with "Little Nibbler" taking care of most of the extra chicken bits. Chrystol was trying on a new nickname for Schuyler to see if we would say anything. We decided to go out for dessert and I called ahead to the Stone House in Redmond and we made our way over in the rain talking about rich kids at Chrystol's school. The place was really cute and we decided to get four desserts and share them: banana split (best one), dark chocolate pudding cake, butter lemon cake with strawberries, deconstructed cheesecake with strawberries and waffle cone crust. Delicious! There was nothing left. It was 10:30 by the time we left. They stayed until 12:30 or so and we sat on the couch talking and half-watching tv and talking about the wedding. After they left we climbed into bed and I crashed out pretty fast, despite Eric wanting to mess around.

Friday 5/21, Kind of a long day at work. Home and Eric and I hopped in the shower and he was getting frisky but Susan was on her way over so I told him to shelve it. Susan arrived and we sat on the couch and chatted. Eric made turkey meatloaf. We ate and watched Office then Top Model which was ridiculous. Susan left when the behind the scenes portion started. We got into bed went to sleep before too long.

Thursday 5/20, Finally told her; it was ok. Left at the normal time, stopped and got dog food and birthday treat for Nyx (which was May 4 - oops). Eric and I went to Ace after work and picked up a rain barrel and had fun going around the place. I give him a lot of grief and try to tell him he doesn’t know anything about hardware and yard stuff when it’s totally the opposite. We had leftovers for dinner and watched the season finales of Office and Parks and Rec. Showered and into bed.

Wednesday 5/19, Had a dream about RH Eric and I was telling this lady how great he was in an attempt to help him get a job. Took P to her dr appt that was useless except she got some Vicodin. Still didn't break it to her. At home I think I took Castor and Nyx for a one time around walk. Eric made up the teriyaki chicken that P sent home with me. It was good. We watched the season finale of Modern Family and I half watched Cougartown while texting with RH Eric. Made plans to get lunch on Saturday. He was complimentary and still had some game with the whole "waiting for you to go to lunch with me" when I asked what he was doing Saturday. Climbed into bed at 10.

Tuesday 5/18, Had to take P to the chiropractor. Long day emotionally. Lots going on. Home and Eric had taken care of getting the tree stuff figured out, emptied out the planter, watered plants, fixed lawnmower battery, made dinner and cleaned up the house. Everything looked really good. He saw one of the baby birds flying from the Twisty Baby to the fir. I was so tired and couldn't go out with Kass (she texted earlier). Eric and I ate dinner (delicious turkey pasta), I showered and watched BL with the dogs and updated this.

Monday 5/17, Discovered something at work that I didn't want to tell. Decided to wait. P really hurt her back and I tried to help as good as I could, but didn't know what to do. Talked to Susan, Mom, then Dad about the last week. They're coming up this weekend for a week. Eric made me a cream cheese hot dog for dinner and it was very good and extremely messy. We watched tv and I watched GG in the bedroom. Eric had the next day off so he stayed up and I was up a little later than usual. Jealous of him.

Sunday 5/16, Eric was up earlier than me. I got up at 8, still feeling sick. I ate breakfast and we started getting ready to work out in the yard. Mom was on her way over. We got the hole for the Sumak dug and it was enormous. We were just getting it in the ground when Mom came. We planted, pruned, watered, transplanted and watched baby birds hop around the courtyard, scared and the parents freaking out. We were out there until 2 then Eric ate lunch. We relaxed and I fell asleep for a few hours. I went down to Alexander Lighting to check out outdoor lights then to the store for some stuff. I started working and did a bit over 4 hours and to bed at almost 11. Watched DH while working.

Saturday 5/15, I was up at 7 or something ridiculous. I kept looking for my phone and was doing some filing when Mom walked in. Door Store opened in 20 minutes and she wanted to get there. It was 8:40. I threw clothes on and we headed out. Found some good doors and options. Back home, planning the arbor, decided against having Mauricio come the next day. Still looking for phone, no luck. Weird. Mom finally suggested we look at the bill, Eric had it, I called Ron's number and he still denied it so I started freaking out. Mom was stoking the fire and she left a minute before he showed up. I lost it and was just yelling and asking why the hell he lied about it. We went inside and talked and talked and talked. It was a misunderstanding and he hijacked it without knowing, apparently. I'm not sure. It was weird, he was sorry, we had a good talk. I felt sick instantly and my nose wouldn’t stop running. I showered and Eric went and got some food and made dinner. We rested on the couch and he fell asleep at 7:45. I watched American Pie and laughed and laughed. I told him to go to bed and I watched 48 hours or something then the first part of SNL but fell asleep after 3 skits.

Friday 5/14, Couldn’t find my phone and was irate before going to work. Mom was doing Peggy's yard so there was a lot of in and out and an easier kind of day. She took a bunch of plants to my house and met me there when I got home. We searched everywhere for my phone, couldn't find it. Really frustrated, retraced steps, nothing. Mom left latish. I couldn't call Eric and he wasn't home by 10 I thought maybe he was staying in Tacoma. I showered and he came home after that. He didn’t' have my phone. We talked for a long time in the bedroom and he told me he felt like when we were in AZ at the property that he was standing with family, not just gf's family. He wants to make me proud and do more with his life so he wants to go back to school full time and pursue that avenue. I was really happy. I was also very tired. He stayed up and I went to bed before midnight. He had to be up at 5. Bah.

Thursday 5/13, Another day I had to stay a little late. Mom had a special delivery for me. It was a gigantic Staghorn Sumac and some Black Locust Freesias. The Sumac was too hard to move myself. I talked to Eric and went up to Chipotle to get us some dinner. Eric got home after 8 and wanted to move the tree but it was so frickin heavy we could only get it a little up into the yard. Eric was frustrated. We watched Office online while we watched Parks and Rec then Office. I balanced my checkbook then into bed.

Wednesday 5/12, I think the worst day at work ever. It was so awful. Mistakes all around though definitely not all my fault, however fingers were pointed to me. Ugh. The end of the day was ok, had to stay late. Just a bad, bad day. Bad. Eric was working late all week and I think didn't get home until after 9. Watched shows and at least got some laughs out of that portion of my day. Tired.

Tuesday 5/11, It was not a very good day at work and I had to stay late so I was exhausted and didn't want to walk. I watched BL and I think updated this while watching. Can't remember anything else.

Monday 5/10, Eric was sick but still up early and got the dogs going. Slept in until 8:30 then got up. Eric made breakfast burritos and we watched tv for a little bit (Joan Rivers was hilarious bending over and shooting a gun through her legs) then I showered and Brizo ate the rest of the apple chips out of my purse. Dressed and got ready and headed out to run errands: Walgreens and Super Supplements. Home, ate lunch then headed out around noon. Work was looong. Home, took the dogs around the block, Eric made dinner, I started on my bills and filing because I'm trying to find my damn soc card. No luck, but got a ton of filing done. Eric made delicious mac and cheese with bacon, peppers and onion. Best ever! I had two helpings, yikes. Back in the bedroom, watched GG and encouraged Eric to sleep in the bedroom. To bed around 11.

Sunday 5/9, Eric was gone early, doing all the grocery shopping, I was up at 7 and worked out for 30 minutes. Eric came back and needed to be let in so I finished and up I went. Showered, woke up the other girls, got ready, packed and soon we were on our way with Kassie and Sky. We stopped by the store for a few more things then over to Grandma's to start breakfast. I cut strawberries while Eric and Kassie busted ass with cooking. Finally it was done and it was good and everyone raved. It was really fun. Grandma cried and said it was the best Mother's Day. Yay, success! Cleaned up, got ready to head out to Goldtown for the day. It was a bit of a drive but we had fun and talking about other potential properties for Mom and Dad. Made it out there and it was HOT. Wandered around, sun was strong. Looked around, it was the same town Mom took us to when we were little with the guy in the outhouse and panning for gold down below. Eric challenged Sky to a dual and won. We went to the Bordello, toured the museum and saw the church. Took the train ride then left with Aubrie and Christian. He's into art and history so we talked art and majors for most of our drive to Keegan's for lunch. I had a veggie melt and it was really good though I couldn't finish it. We had to hit the road to get K&S to the airport. Back to Grandma's then off to the airport. Said our goodbyes and will see Mom and Dad in two weeks, Kass might come too. Dad dropped us after telling us about the depression that will occur in 15 years, so I'm scared and want to start stockpiling. We went through security together then to an open area to chat. Kass and I called Mom and wished her a happy Mother's Day. Sky and Eric talked about S' Mom and rehab and all that. Kass was enthralled and could relate. It was a good conversation. Her flight was delayed and finally boarded about 20 minutes before ours did. We had a good flight back and listened to music and read magazines. We got in about 20 minutes early which gave us a headstart on our trip home. Got the car, home and the dogs were so excited. We went out, got ready for bed and hit the sack. Eric slept on the couch because he didn't feel good and would probably be coughing and blowing nose all night. Poor guy. On the net and eventually to bed.

Saturday 5/8, Eric and the boys left by 8 and I was up at 8:30 and went and worked out. Did 2.1 and watched HGTV then up to the room, woke the girls and showered and got ready. We all went down together for breakfast (second time for Aubrie) and enjoyed a very nice continental breakfast. We had fun talking and I told them about my lesbian Lindsay L*han dream; I was very disturbed. We were soon on our way and stopped at Target, called Mom she said to have fun and Grandma wanted us to go to Cute Nails which is exactly where we wanted to go. I bought some new suits on sale and a new little gray layering piece. Nail time, I picked pink again, we had fun, Kassie's treat, then onto to Sprouts for sandwiches. They were super cheap. Kass got some other groceries. Back to Grandma's and ate and waited for the boys and Grandma and Mom to come home. Had big hellos then hung out and chatted then I took pictures for my phone contacts, including one of Cookie for Grandma and Papa. Finally got our suits on for the pool, sunscreen and headed out. Pool was fun with family time and all. Sky was at the hotel and needed to be picked up. We went back, got ready and headed to the hotel to pick up the other kids since time was running out. They brought my pants and I changed in the car on the way out to Mom and Dad's property. It took a while but when we got there it was really beautiful. They showed us where the house would go and also the pool. The scenery was gorgeous and really peaceful. Only a handful of houses in sight. Off to dinner at the Stagecoach which wasn't terrific, but it was so warm and wonderful out and the atmosphere was great. We had a fun time and finally rolled out. We had to go back to Grandma's so I wanted to follow Dad, but Alishia got sick so we had to pull off and find a bathroom. We got lost on the way back, dropped Alishia since we were already by the hotel then got turned around on the way to Grandma's so by the time we got there I was really irritated. Eric was trying to make me feel better. By the time we got back it was late. We changed, took out contacts and went over to Kassie's room. They were doing madlibs and her and Eric put together the menu for the next day. We were there for maybe 45 minutes, then off to bed.

Friday 5/7, I woke up and Eric wasn't there so I thought he didn't sleep with me. Turns out he went to bed at 12:30 and got up at 4:30. Eric got me up at 6 and had already gone to the bank and picked me up 2 donuts. I ate some, got ready, finished packing and off we went to the airport. Parked, shuttled, checked in, through security and started looking around, but soon went to Anthony's for breakfast, Eric's treat. Shopping around, at Fireworks a woman came up and said "Good morning, ladies" and we cracked up. First insult of the day. Got a message that Grandma had had a stroke, so when we went to the north concourse I called Dad and found out things are ok, but scary. Rosemary had emergency surgery and Margareth was on a feeding tube. In threes I guess. I called Peggy, updated her with what I'd done the day before, talked to Mom and chatted about the dogs and eventually to the gate and boarded. The flight was ok and I got through a bunch of mags, Eric spilled his seltzer and my orange juice and it went everywhere. Juice crotch. My knee, shoes, bags were splattered. Second insult of the day. Landed, texted Kass, found them, Papa took us back to his house, talked to Mom, he took us on a real long detour to show us the place. He left to go check on Grandma, she called and talked to Kass and told her where everything was for lunch. She made delish paninis and guac. We didn't know it was for the party. We took off soon after for the hotel but ended up at the wrong one, headed over to the other. We went up, really nice rooms, loved it. We got ready but then Aubs called that we didn't have to go over to the house right then so we changed into suits and went down to the pool. We put our feet in and it was like 90 degree water. We talked about the menu for Mother's Day. Hoping Grandma will let us. The sisters and Christian arrived. We took off not too long after and got a little turned around on the way to Grandma's. All her and Papa's friends were there for the party so we mingled and there were a couple UPS alumni there so that was fun. I didn't eat much because I felt gross from earlier in the day. Lots of talking with Dad and Kass and Eric worked the party. Everyone left a bit after 9 and we packed up too and took off for the hotel. We got our suits on and Eric was in the pool quick. A little chilly for me so we all ended up in the hot tub. Talked in there for a long time then up to the rooms. I showered and got into bed.

Thursday 5/6, Stressful day at work and trying to get everything done before leaving for AZ the next day. I was freaking out once I got home. Mom had delivered the new trees and was trying to talk to me while Eric was trying to leave for the M’s game. I had to pack, feed the dogs, and to top all this off Brizo was shaking and not eating, which is a first. That piglet has never let a meal pass her by, so that made me freak out even more. Eric called to talk me off the ledge. Mom called and wanted to bring over one of the magnolias so then there was that. Sos was supposed to come over at 6:30, Mom and Dad came and left, locked the dogs up and took off for Hakim and Carmen's. Thank goodness we had carpool because traffic on 520 was terrible. We made it pretty quick and beat Kristel. We all hung out, talked, laughed, had a great time. Carmen made a great dinner and we had fun talking around the table. After dinner we watched a bunch of Hakim's videos from Kenya, fascinating. We were there until after 9 I think, so after dessert we all took off. Home, packed, waited for Eric, finally to bed by 11:30. Eric was still up.

Wednesday 5/5, I didn't run because it was hailing and raining, picked up the house, laundry and started packing. Eric was really late and to top off all this shiz, had car problems. I ate a hodge podge of stuff for dinner and we talked in the kitchen for a long time while he was cooking his dinner. We watched our shows and he went to bed; I looked at murder mystery parties online for the UPS crew.

Tuesday 5/4, Castor and I ran at the park after work, two times around. There was thunder and lightening but only drizzling. Didn’t finish this day. I’m sure there was BL and dinner. Eric probably home late, to bed early.

Monday 5/3, The weather was terrible so I didn't go for my run. Eric was late coming home, as would probably be the case all week. I had two tacos for dinner and we watched tv. Eric went to bed and I watched GG in the living room and went through old pictures for Mom, for a video I suspect. Went to bed shortly after.

Sunday 5/2, Eric was awake earlier than me but stayed in bed and cuddled then we did fun stuff with each other. We showered and I suggested going out for breakfast to the Pancake Corral. We got there and had a minimal wait. Breakfast was good but I didn't finish it all. We headed to Costco and picked up a few things, didn't get the rain catcher and composter. Next time perhaps. At home I called Mom and she suggested we go to Furneys to check out their Twisty Baby Locusts, which she had been furiously calling around about. I went over and we drove down, all the while I scoped airport parking options. The Twisty Babies weren't very good, however I found a Butterflies Magnolia and fell in love. Put it on my list. Also, Gardenia and Peonies. Back home we went where I had chores I was fixin to accomplish, but Mom called back a while later and suggested we go to Flower World. I met her at the park and ride and we drove North. Took the looong way. They had a couple Butterflies Magnolia but none were exactly what I wanted so we kept perusing. Walked around for a long time and made notes of which blueberries and peonies I wanted. Back home and went for a short run because I didn't really feel like going but knew I needed to. Eric made chicken tacos for dinner and they were delicious. We watched our shows and I watched DH in the bedroom. Went to bed shortly after.

Saturday 5/1, Up early but super tired. Eric told me he didn't want to start on the fence. I went on a run and did three times around and Eric was already started on yard work and weeding the sidewalk and the street in front of the house. I wasn't in a great mood, not sure why. I went inside and called Mom and she said to get ready and come over and we'd go look at plants. I ate breakfast, showered and took off. We left for Wells Medina and found quite a few good ideas: Twisty Baby Locust, Dynamite Crape Myrtle, Golden Full Moon Maple, jasmine, schizphragma and some that mom liked that I wasn't in love with. We were there a while then went back to MI and she took me by a house with the rock wall she wants at my place. The place was three different huge houses - incredible. Back to her house and I picked up the daphne odora and home I went. I told Eric some of the ideas and he wasn't very into it and kept questioning whether I wanted that stuff, which is a legitimate question, but wouldn't drop it so then I was in a bad mood again. I went inside and laid down and watched part of Bend it Like Beckham, which I've not seen. Snuggled with the dogs and eventually fell asleep. After my nap I was still tired. We went to Ace, picked up ladybugs for the roses (worked like a charm) then off to Costco, which was closed, then Home Depot and spent $50 on makeshift fencing materials which put me in a bad mood again. Home we went. I ate my other half fajita. We decided to watch a movie and I picked Dogville which ended up being a fairly depressing movie. I couldn't stop thinking about it. SNL was a repeat. Eric wanted to get it on before bed but all I could keep thinking about was rape. We cuddled instead. Lovely. Fell asleep by 12:30 maybe.

Friday 4/30, Off work a bit early and Susan decided to run errands before coming over so I took Castor over to the park and we did a couple laps around then back home. I was feeding the dogs when Susan arrived. We sat and talked on the couch for a while then decided on Chipotle for dinner. We agreed to only eat half of our burritos so we wouldn't make ourselves sick. There was a semi-cute legal teen at the next table but he appeared to be very moody and he was wearing camo. On our way home we discovered the Mighty Dollar and both got more than I think we needed. Got a hilarious I <3>
Wednesday 4/28, I beat Eric home again and picked up after the dogs then got ready for a run. He took off again at the same place and did three times around. I did two and we walked home together. Eric got the kitchen cleaned up while I took Nyx around the neighborhood. Fed the dogs, folded laundry and started fussing with itunes to download to my phone. Dinner was ready, had two helpings (stroganoff, yum!) then talked to Mom for a while. Showered, Eric joined me for a bit then settled onto the couch for Modern Family. He went to bed, I attempted to stay up and watch Cougar Town, but kept dozing. Got in bed, asleep by 10:30.

Tuesday 4/27, Got home at the same time as Eric. He was exhausted but I pressed him to go for a run with me. We ran together for a little bit then he took off and Castor was pulling me trying to catch up with him. He runs so fast and ended up being at least a half mile ahead of me. I went two times around then waited for him at the barn, but he didn't come so I started going home and there he was. He'd taken some route into the neighborhoods to get some extra running in. At home we suited Nyxie up and took her around the block and talked to Cherry. Peach was up in the window barking at us and it was hilarious. At home we showered then both fended for ourselves dinner-wise. I had some veggies and a roll. Kassie called and we talked for over an hour about the wedding. I'm maid of honor apparently. She's got big plans for this thing, like spa weekends, dress shopping in SF and Vegas for the bachelorette party. Start saving now I guess. Should be quite the event. Hung up after 9, Eric was already asleep. Finished watching the end of BL and crashed.

Monday 4/26, Decent day at work, almost done with the project, got a bonus. Home later than usual and told Eric we should go to dinner and he should go straight home rather than to the store. I wanted to run but it was raining too hard so I took Castor and Nyx around the block to at least give them a little workout. I changed and we went into Bellevue and got Pho but got turned around and saw a yogurt place so decided to go there after dinner. Dinner was good and I was stuffed. We headed over and got some yogurt and it wasn't ice cream-y, it was more sour, like Greek yogurt or something. We sat and talked and ate and watched the Ferraris and Mercedes go by. Ahh, Bellevue. Headed home and watched DwtS on the couch. Missed GG but tivo-d it at work. Went to bed around 11.

Sunday 4/25, I was up earlyish and Eric had already fed Castor so I went on a run by myself. I did two times around and came back to find that Eric had cut down the holly against the fence and it went over and down into Cherry's yard. He hauled it back over but it smashed some of her plants. Oops. We spent a few hours cleaning up the yard and he went nuts with the chainsaw getting everything we didn't want out. I spent a lot of time cutting stuff and piling into the yard waste then started on the new gigantic pile that appeared. Went inside and talked to Kristel and decided to meet up at noon. I showered, got ready and hit the road to her place. We walked downtown to PF Changs for lunch and talked about marriage and relationships and Belize. I got the double pan fried noodles which are so good I want to eat the whole plate. I refrained. Next we walked down to the Rack where I picked up a new purse and didn't try on any shoes. We stopped in Sephora and I looked for that new deodorant but they don't carry the brand. Looks like I'm going to have to order if from NY. Next we went into Anthro which I haven't been to in ages; wasn't really tempted by anything. I was getting tired by this point. We walked back up to her place and I got my external hard drive. She gave me a ride to my car and it was 3. I headed home and took the dogs out. Eric was hanging with Schuyler and I relaxed with the dogs and eventually fell asleep. He was home before dinner but I wasn't feeling good suddenly. Too much PF Changs? He made a huge salad and got a pizza for dinner. We watched 40 Year Old Virgin and I eventually had a little food. We went to bed around 10.

Saturday 4/24, Eric had to work and I was up pretty early so I went for a run with Castor then fed the dogs when I got home. Got ready and went to Target and returned the baby gate, wandered around waiting for the Rack to open and talked to Mom. over to Nordstrom Rack, didn't see anything I loved and left. At home I was tired so I climbed under the blanket on my bed and looked at some stuff on the net then wanted to start dozing off but Mom called to say she was on her way over. We walked around the yard for a while and talked about the courtyard, front yard and the area that will become the private patio garden off the master. We talked inside for a while and looked at house numbers online and mid-century house design and house colors. Eric came home and he sat down with us and talked for a while then Mom left. We relaxed for a little while and he showered then we got ready to go to Sos' for dinner. We stopped at the Front Street butcher and got some sausages then over to the Market for a bottle of wine for Jake's birthday. Over we went and met Vinny and his wife...uh...Carly I think. I ate lots of cheese and guac and homemade tortilla chips (so good). Jess and her bf, uh...can't remember his name, showed up and the talking and eating continued. Eventually Carmen and Hakim arrived with Kona so it was a full house. We ate dinner, sang happy birthday, ate dessert (cheesecake) and eventually headed out. We all went to Sun Villa bowl or whatever, I dropped Eric then went home to let the dogs out. Went back down and caught everyone in the first couple frames. Hakim won the thing, Eric came in second. Everyone was pretty good. We took some pictures, headed into the parking lot talking and then took Sos and Jake home. Back home, climbed into bed, watched 10 minutes of SNL, crashed out.

Friday 4/23, Stressful morning at work; the end of the day was better. Went home and changed since we were going to Mom's for dinner since David, Carrie, Maddie and Adrien were in town visiting. We went over there and talked and hung out with everyone. Eric was cracking P up. Chip was cracking me up. We had a good dinner and Carrie took a crack at Dane and said she loves passing guys like him while running races. We had dessert, talked some more, and watched people leave one by one. We left around 8:30 since Eric had to be up at 4:00 the next morning. We stopped at the store on the way home so he could get coffee then home. Took the dogs out then got into bed and went to sleep not much later.

Thursday 4/22, Kassie's birthday and also the day she got engaged. Apparently it's a 2.1 carat cushion cut diamond. Jealous much? Yes, actually. Talked to her on the way home then talked to Mom about relationships, Kass and Sky and facebook. Dad was having not such a good day. I told them about the blizzard special and Dad said he'd be here by 8. Eric and I went for a 2-mile jog at the park and he runs waaayyy too fast. He could have lapped me for sure. We did the first mile together then he took off like a rocket and the last I could see him he was a half mile ahead of me. Back home, fed the dogs and went to Chipotle. We stopped at Ace on the way home. I showered then watched Office while working. Finished after an hour. Climbed into bed, updated this, watched Marriage Ref.

Wednesday 4/21, Eric and I went to the park and walked and brought all the dogs, including Brizo and it was hilarious because she was all over the place. Eric heated up some pasta for me for dinner and also steamed some broccoli. We talked in the kitchen and ate. I worked for a while then showered and climbed into bed to watch some Seinfeld and eventually fell asleep.

Tuesday 4/20, Eric and I went for a walk after work at the park. Eric made some pasta for dinner and I worked while watching BL for about 2 hours. Eric was fast asleep by the time I went in to bed.

Monday 4/19, Stayed at work until 6 trying to get stuff done; so much to do. Took work home. Eric had dinner ready so I ate then we decided to walk Castor and Nyx around the block at 8 and enjoyed the beautiful weather. When we got back I started working and didn't stop until almost midnight. I finished what I wanted to, but not all of it. Yuck. Crashed out.

Sunday 4/18, Got up and went for a 2 mile jog, had some breakfast and sat down on the couch. Eric wanted to hike and talked me into it so we left by 9, up the to Rattlesnake Ridge. We sat for a while and the weather and view were beautiful, sunny. There were a lot of people. We ran almost all the way back down, drove home, exhausted, showered, ate a little then laid down and slept for a little bit. I got up and we went into Issaquah. Hit Target, Panera for a sandwich, BB&B and back to Target for a carpet cleaner. We grocery shopped on the way back home. Talked to Mom for a long time, Eric cleaned the carpet and it was so much better; that carpet was nasty. Eric started dinner; turkey burgers and sweet potato fries (not yams). Kristel texted so she came over for dinner too, watched AFV and EHM where she couldn't believe they demoed the house; it’s been a long time since she's seen it. She left at 9, I watched DH, went to bed and Eric was still watching tv.

Saturday 4/17, Nyx was up early, all excited to start the day. It was the first morning in as long as I can remember where she acted like she used to. We had a big day ahead of us so I got up at 8 and joined Eric, who made breakfast burritos while I got dressed. I called the groomers and got Nyx in, then started in the yard with clipping holly branches. Close to 10 I took Nyx and Brizo in; they clipped Brizo's nails and we went home and left Nyxie. Eric and I discussed the fence when I got home and drew illustrations and got measurements squared away then took off to run errands. We went to the Issaquah Cedar place and bought all the wood for a fifth of what I thought I was going to have to spend on the fence. We went to BMC and to celebrate we bought a pick, rake and water pipe insulation. We stopped by the Issaquah Market so I could check out Miska's paintings in the barn. It was a quick trip. We went to Ace and got some bigger clippers so I could really do some damage in the yard then home. I made something to eat and Eric was back outside busting ass. I joined him and got a lot of dead stuff off the pear tree and got the hollies all deconstructed. Nyx wasn't done, talked to Mom, worked for a little while, looked at Eric's work, picked up Nyx and she looked so cute with her pink bow and scrunchy collar cover. I decided to head up to Crossroads and got Eric a cd, card for our anniversary, bought some lotto tickets, went to BB&B and bought a curtain rod, then over to Chipotle and it was pouring. I got some food for us and went home and ate. I think I finished up work then started getting ready to go to Susan's for girl's night. Showered, got ready and hit the road. Helped by cutting strawberries, chatted about M and looked at the place now that it's solely her's. Looked really good. Kristel showed up next and we talked in the kitchen about D*n and the baby and how that's all going. Ryan showed up last and we dug into dessert. I had two helpings and could have eaten more, but didn't. We watched this hilarious video Susan got from the library called "Dangers of Rock and Roll" or something put out by some church group and we died laughing. We thought it was a fake movie, but it totally wasn’t. There was also a lot of head scratching and generalizing on the part of Ministries Production or whatever. We finished the first half and packed it in. It was almost 11. I called Eric on the way home but was sure he was asleep. He was. Got into bed after stepping in dog poop, poor Nyx was still freaked out from her haircut I think. Went to sleep around midnight.

Friday 4/16, I was home early and had brought some work home to do over the weekend. Eric was going to be later than normal so I took Castor and Nyx to the park for a walk. Nyx was still all pant-y and acting odd so I vowed to call the vet (since she’d been acting weird for 2 weeks now). Of course, I didn't call and she started acting normal again. I think the walks really help. We did one time around the blueberry patch then home and beat Eric. I think we just did leftovers and tried to clean out the fridge. We hung out and relaxed and talked about what we were going to do the next day. I think we went to bed early-ish.

Thursday 4/15, I was home early again and waited for Eric in the courtyard with the dogs who were all soaking up the sun. We took a walk at the blueberry fields and when we got home he made steak fajitas. They were delicious. We watched a little tv then he got in bed. I was crampy and out of ibuprofen so I went to Walgreens, read in bed and watched the SNL special. Went to bed at 11.

Wednesday 4/14, I arrived home early, finally. I cleaned up and Eric was home later than usual. He was mowing the lawn when Kristel arrived. She came in and had some snacks as I was trying to get the dogs to eat and Brizo to pee outside. It was a lot of back and forth with Brizo in her carrier so she wouldn't piss on any carpets. Sos arrived and we all talked inside. Jake couldn't make it. Eric started cooking, us girls gabbed around the table then ate, talked more for a long time, then looked at the pear tree (in full bloom). I made cookies and finally didn't burn them. We all ate way too many. They took off about a half hour apart, we cleaned up a little, I watched Ugly Betty, then to sleep.

Tuesday 4/13, Had to stay until 6 unexpectedly. I talked to Mom and Dad on the way home and found Eric putting together the lawn mower in the garage. I couldn't believe it had already arrived. Talked with the parents about AZ, work and Aubs' bf. Eric took the mower around the lawn for a spin and it did a good job. We went to Costco and I was starting to get very hungry so I was trying to get Eric to hurry up and make some decisions. We stopped by PCC so he could pick up some stuff then home. We each made our own dinner and Eric brought me some of his fries. I watched BL, showered and got into bed for overdue fun time.

Monday 4/12, My and Eric's 2 year anniversary. Left work late, still crazy as ever. Beat Eric there, took the dogs out. Brizo peed on the dining room carpet 15 minutes later, I was furious but she just doesn't get it. Showered, got ready to go out to dinner. We went into Bellevue and Eric suggested we go to CPK since he's never been. We parked right in front of the old Tower, still so crazy what they've done to the inside. At CPK I got the White Pizza and Eric got the Cheeseburger Pizza which had me in stitches (like the pizza burger). We had a nice dinner and I suggested Cheesecake Factory for dessert, which he'd also never been. It was an evening full of corporate chains! We walked over and ordered our repective cheesecakes (him: lemon raspberry, me: dutch apple streusel) and we gobbled them up. He thought it was a weird place. Now he can say he’s been to both. We walked back to the car and back home. Brizo peed on the carpet in the bedroom, auuuuuggghhhhh. I was so pissed. Why doesn't that damn little dog get it? There's a pee pad 2 feet away! She's going to be penned up from now on. That put me in a really bad mood then I hit my head on the damn cupboard in the kitchen getting my lunch ready for the next day. I put ice on it and cried in the kitchen. Eric was watching tv so I went back in the bedroom and read for a little bit then went to bed. Not how I envisioned my night ending.

Sunday 4/11, I got up at 8, got ready, gassed up and into work. There until 1:00 then to All the Best to get some dog food and treats for Castor's 8th birthday. Eric had picked me up a burrito from Chipotle knowing I would be hungry when I got home. Yum! I showered, played on my computer, felt tired and didn't want to go to dinner, called Kass, she was fine with it, called Mom and talked to her for a while then fell asleep. When I woke up I cajoled Eric into a walk around the blueberry fields. I need to start doing that more often. Eric went to the store to get food for dinner and I went to Szechuan Chef to pick up my scarf which I forgot on Friday. I got the dogs settled, washed the inside of the back windows of my car, Eric moved everything to the other side of the garage so now I can park without the big shelf right by my car. Eric started dinner and I called Alishia to catch up. Dinner was ready around 8: lamb gyro with homemade taziki and it was so f-ing good. Better than you'd get in a restaurant. I had two. We watched some tv then I did some laundry, paid some bills and filed. I talked to Susan then read in bed until going to sleep by 11.

Saturday 4/10, We were both up pretty early and got ready and headed out to a little local shop that reminds Eric of Tacoma that carries lawn equipment and all that kind of stuff. We had researched electric lawn mowers that morning and I decided I wanted the Neuton which they didn't carry. After that we stopped at Andy's Nails or whatever for pedis and I wanted to pick out a color for Eric but he didn't want one. I picked a really red magenta. Back home then Eric left for a hair cut and to get Kass a birthday present and I cleaned the bathrooms, hardly the same kind of fun. I went up to Crossroads and did an exchange at BB&B, got Kass some cds, picked up the new Dr. Dog for myself and bought some lotto tickets, which is my new Saturday thing. Back home and ate my leftovers and was surprised Eric wasn't home yet. He got her a cutting board, cheese knives and a bottle of wine. I think I may have napped a little. Eric went for a run and I went and picked up dog poop for almost the whole time he was gone. Talked to Kassie and made plans to meet at her new place. We got ready and took off around 6 and found the house easily. Kassie toured us and I can't believe how much is ripped apart but it's going to be amazing when she's done with it. We took off for Capitol Hill to try the Tin Table but the wait was an hour so we went to Quinn's instead. We ordered so much food and Sky went crazy with the apps (pate, marrow, cheese plate and two orders of devils on horseback) and Eric ate most of the questionable orders. Skys eyes got so big when he tried the marrow, I laughed. We were there for a while then headed into Ballard to see Miles Kurosky at the Tractor. We watched one of the opening bands then he came on. The set was good and so was the people watching. We left around 12:15 and said we'd see them the next day for dinner. Drove home, let the dogs out, climbed into bed and Eric watched tv in the living room for a while. I fell asleep.

Friday 4/9, Didn't have to work late but agreed to come in on Sunday and P will make it worth my while. Showered and Eric had been out buying a surprise dessert because C&S were coming over. We had plans to go to the fair and Szechuan Chef. They arrived as I was trying to get the dogs fed. We walked through the blueberry fields to dinner. We could see the carnival was in full effect and looked forward to our adventures there later that evening. We went in, got a good table near the back and perused the menu. We all ordered and I decided to try something new: honey, walnut chicken and it was really good. Eric got the chef's special duck and it smelled like an old football. The least favorite dish of the evening. After dinner we went out to see the carnival had been shut down for the night. Granted it was like 9, but still, on a Friday night? Oh well. We walked home and Eric started preparing the dessert, I put Hangover in and Schuyler played piano while Chrystol tried to get the dogs to howl. Eric brought out a huge platter of desserts: apricot and raspberry cookies and double chocolate cake all from the French bakery paired with fresh raspberries and strawberries, crème fraiche gelato and a lemon cream ice cream. We finished the entire platter but the boys ate the most, surprisingly. They liked the movie and we talked afterward for a while then they left by midnight.

Thursday 4/8, No working late. Susan came over a few minutes after I got home for evening festivities. I was doing some laundry and running back and forth in the house as Susan and Eric chatted. We left to go to Chipotle for dinner and it was really sunny in there. We sat by the condiments and each ate all of our burritos. Next I had the bright idea to go to McD's for an ice cream sundae and Susan laughed and declared she would not be participating. The drive thru was ridiculous with it's insane incline. We went home, sat on couch and watched tv for a while. We both got ready at 8 and took off shortly after. There was a line to get in and that was just the beginning to having my mind blown for the night. We got our skates on and headed out. I was in awe of all the tricks and talent on the floor. It was insane. I loved the old black guys in the middle dancing it up on their lighted skates. My other favorites: The Clapper, my roller blade bf, the Mike Bougeaure (can’t remember how to spell it) look-alike and the roller derby girl Susan recognized. We stayed until 10 and got a pretty good workout I believe. Eric was asleep. I climbed into bed, read for a while then asleep.

Wednesday 4/7, Stayed late at work again, came home to find Eric with a pizza about to go in, talked about his dr appt and all that stuff, he was feeling rather frustrated with his situation but determined to overcome it all (anxiety and all that). Talked to Mom, ate dinner, watched tv, showered, climbed into bed, thumbed through a mag, watched Ugly Betty and to bed a little after 11.

Tuesday 4/6, Stayed late at work trying to get something done, Eric had all the fixins out for me to make my dinner, showered first and into pjs, ate dinner, sat on couch and relaxed, I ate too much after dinner (candy, apple) then Eric made mac and cheese so I had some of that too. BL on tv, watched it and found Eric asleep at 8:30. Went to bed by 10:30.
Sunday 4/4, Jess was up early to go to church with her dad and Linda. I stayed in bed but couldn't go back to sleep and didn't want to still be sleeping when they came home so I got up finally. Showered, talked to Dad for a while about his trip (Asia) and money then talked to Eric and told him I'd be home around 1 or 2. Finished getting ready, packed up and they came home. We took two cars down to Everett to go to Anthony's for Easter brunch. We had fun and recognized our server as the girl David F*nney ditched Jess for at Homecoming. The food was delicious. Out we went and soon I was on the road back home with Ed Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros blaring through the streets of downtown Everett. Made good time and Eric had lunch ready for me. I was stuffed though so he ate them. He showed me that he installed the Doggie Dooley and told me how much work it was. I think I took a nap then we went to All the Best to get some food and got some turkey necks to get Castor on a semi-raw diet. Back home I think he made dinner and we relaxed on the couch. I watched EHM and probably went to bed not long after.

Saturday 4/3, Did a bunch of cleaning and house stuff while waiting to hear from Jess. Eric had to work. I walked Castor to Walgreens to pick up birthday presents (Yes to Carrots, Cucumber, Tomato) for Jess. I showered and got ready and packed and headed out right before Eric got home, around 4:00. I talked to Chrystol on the way up about her wedding dress and the high likelihood of roller skating that evening. I got up to Jess' and Billy caught me just as I was pulling in and had me out there talking forever, got his new number and convinced him not to go inside to say hi to Day. Went in and Day got all new furniture, and a ton of it. Jess and I ate birthday cake and talked about her new business idea. Jess got ready and I talked to Day about her purchases, including the new hot tub. We took off for Everett and arrived at Azteca a little after 7:30. We waited forever and finally Megan showed up and eventually Jasmine and Hannah at like 9. QB was there but we didn't say hi. I felt bad afterward. We had a funny dinner with the least enthusiastic waiter ever. There was another birthday party being set up next to us and the ring leader let us pick some grab bags (I got an energy efficient light bulb). We headed to Chopstix next in downtown Everett and I changed my shirt before going in. I ordered some cake when we got there and we had a good time thinking up songs to request, even though they didn't play any of them. Jessica had to sit on the piano so they could sing her a birthday song. The people watching was fantastic and Megan and I talked about our bad boy Everett bfs. Grant and his wife, can't remember name, came and were buying shots and being hilarious without meaning to. Grant pretended like he remembered me and kept touching me on the back. Nice try. We were there until like 12:15 then all took off for the Everett Skate Deck. There were all these kids there, despite it being 12:30; no curfew apparently. These kids were good, skating backwards and doing tricks and making fun of Grant. "That's you in 20 years kid!" Jess was really good skating backwards and doing tricks too. I didn't fall and finally got into the groove of it after a while. We had fun skating around and Jess and I were the last ones on the floor. We took off at 1:30 with the rest of the skate kids. We dropped Megan off at home then headed up to her Dad's. We decided to stop at the Casino so Jess could play $20. I was smiling and making eyes at some guys at one of the tables and Jessica told me to stop it. We walked around and left after a half hour. Drove up to her Dad's, tip toed in and climbed into bed.
