Sunday 4/4, Jess was up early to go to church with her dad and Linda. I stayed in bed but couldn't go back to sleep and didn't want to still be sleeping when they came home so I got up finally. Showered, talked to Dad for a while about his trip (Asia) and money then talked to Eric and told him I'd be home around 1 or 2. Finished getting ready, packed up and they came home. We took two cars down to Everett to go to Anthony's for Easter brunch. We had fun and recognized our server as the girl David F*nney ditched Jess for at Homecoming. The food was delicious. Out we went and soon I was on the road back home with Ed Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros blaring through the streets of downtown Everett. Made good time and Eric had lunch ready for me. I was stuffed though so he ate them. He showed me that he installed the Doggie Dooley and told me how much work it was. I think I took a nap then we went to All the Best to get some food and got some turkey necks to get Castor on a semi-raw diet. Back home I think he made dinner and we relaxed on the couch. I watched EHM and probably went to bed not long after.
Saturday 4/3, Did a bunch of cleaning and house stuff while waiting to hear from Jess. Eric had to work. I walked Castor to Walgreens to pick up birthday presents (Yes to Carrots, Cucumber, Tomato) for Jess. I showered and got ready and packed and headed out right before Eric got home, around 4:00. I talked to Chrystol on the way up about her wedding dress and the high likelihood of roller skating that evening. I got up to Jess' and Billy caught me just as I was pulling in and had me out there talking forever, got his new number and convinced him not to go inside to say hi to Day. Went in and Day got all new furniture, and a ton of it. Jess and I ate birthday cake and talked about her new business idea. Jess got ready and I talked to Day about her purchases, including the new hot tub. We took off for Everett and arrived at Azteca a little after 7:30. We waited forever and finally Megan showed up and eventually Jasmine and Hannah at like 9. QB was there but we didn't say hi. I felt bad afterward. We had a funny dinner with the least enthusiastic waiter ever. There was another birthday party being set up next to us and the ring leader let us pick some grab bags (I got an energy efficient light bulb). We headed to Chopstix next in downtown Everett and I changed my shirt before going in. I ordered some cake when we got there and we had a good time thinking up songs to request, even though they didn't play any of them. Jessica had to sit on the piano so they could sing her a birthday song. The people watching was fantastic and Megan and I talked about our bad boy Everett bfs. Grant and his wife, can't remember name, came and were buying shots and being hilarious without meaning to. Grant pretended like he remembered me and kept touching me on the back. Nice try. We were there until like 12:15 then all took off for the Everett Skate Deck. There were all these kids there, despite it being 12:30; no curfew apparently. These kids were good, skating backwards and doing tricks and making fun of Grant. "That's you in 20 years kid!" Jess was really good skating backwards and doing tricks too. I didn't fall and finally got into the groove of it after a while. We had fun skating around and Jess and I were the last ones on the floor. We took off at 1:30 with the rest of the skate kids. We dropped Megan off at home then headed up to her Dad's. We decided to stop at the Casino so Jess could play $20. I was smiling and making eyes at some guys at one of the tables and Jessica told me to stop it. We walked around and left after a half hour. Drove up to her Dad's, tip toed in and climbed into bed.
