Thursday 4/5, Took Lucia on a run after work and learned it is 1.5, which isn’t great, but better than nothing. We clipped Nyx’s and Clancy’s nails and one foot of Brizo’s. Lucia had another accident, but in the bedroom this time. Yikes. I can’t remember what else happened, but I know my shows weren’t on. I probably went to bed early.

Wednesday 4/4, Rose responded and is up for a visit so I’m going to get to see Quincy this weekend! So excited. I was home by 5, Eric was out on a run and I took care of some laundry and ate some fritos. He came home and I continued putting the back room together. Got the curtains back up, bookshelf in, picture hung and Eric helped me get the map up. I answered a message from Sos about this weekend. Eric showered and we went to the store for a couple things. Back home Eric got going on dinner and I did stuff online. We ate dinner and watched a little tv with the pups.

Tuesday 4/3, I decided to go to Portland and get a hotel room. I wrote to Sos and told her I’d be coming for her baby shower and that I was excited. When I got home I took Lucia for a run and Eric went on an 8-miler, so I knew he’d be gone a while. I went out to clean up the dog crap when I got back and wrote some emails. I showered while Eric made dinner and we watched tv. We were in bed early and had cuddle time with the dogs. Wished Jess a happy birthday and wished I was with her celebrating.

Monday 4/2, I started to put the back bedroom back together but didn’t make much progress. I cleaned out one of the dog beds that was stuffed with old shit. We had leftovers for dinner and decided to watch Silver Streak. It was very funny and we had a good time watching it. We went to bed not long after.

Sunday 4/1, We got up and took Nyx and Clancy to the park and let them run around for a while. Nyx was so cute, crying like she didn’t know what to do while in there. I walked around with her for a little while and she finally got it. We went home and each got started on our projects. Me: kept painting back bedroom which took most of the day. Eric did his own projects in the yard. I half way got the room put back together after I finished. I think I may have taken a nap later in the evening and I’m sure Eric made dinner.

Saturday 3/31, Eric was up early and off to work; I got up by 8, took care of the dogs and started on my projects. I wanted to get some of the back bedroom painted before heading off to Susan’s for lunch. I made some decent progress, showered, got ready, talked to Susan and headed out the door. I got there right on time and woke Susan up. We talked for a while before leaving for lunch. We parked close-ish and walked to Bimbo’s. I had a delicious quesadilla. Next we hit Everyday Music where I picked up a bunch of cheap, mostly bad, movies and one good one: Silver Streak. We walked back to the car and headed over to the GO. I went a little nuts and got a bunch of stuff I didn’t need, but that was ok. We went back to Susan’s and I dropped her off. I went home and found Eric there who was in the yard getting stuff done. Unfortunately the spigot in the front broke and he had to turn the water off at the street. Thank god he knows how to do that. I was inside putting stuff away. We went up to Haagen and got everything for dinner that evening then to Ace for plumbing supplies. At home Eric got a cap on it for the meantime so we could get the water back on then inside to get ready for the evening. I vacuumed and he made dinner. C&S showed up a little early and we chatted and went out and talked about the pool room and plans there when Stef showed up. Lucia was so happy to see her, which was great to see. We had dinner not long after she got there and we sat in the living room and watched the Sounders game, which was the stupid “surprise” Eric told me there would be. We talked while watching and Eric brought out dessert (honey yogurt with fresh fruit) and the chocolate covered macadamia nuts Stef brought. Stefanie told us about some hilarious camp counselor stories and specifically one about some girl having a very loud orgasm with 15 other girls in the room. Eric and Schuyler got more ideas for their Nasty Boys movie. They all stayed until almost midnight then took off. It was a fun night. I was tired and went to bed not long after. Eric had had coffee so he was up for a while.

Friday 3/30, I was really excited it was Friday and had some good energy as I left work. When I got home it all deflated. Lucia had had an accident by the door and there was shit all over the floor in the den and then after we cleaned all that up there was more pee. We were both all stressed and upset. I went in the bedroom and just laid there forever, looking out the window. Eric came in and we talked and I told him I just feel overwhelmed and like it’s one more strike against Lucia. She never had accidents and now she has them regularly. I’m so tired of it. Also, Lucia got another app and I had to shoot it down, which is exhausting in itself. To have to constantly say why an app won’t work I feel makes me look too picky, but I know they all understand. It’s going to take a while. I had other stuff on my mind of things I needed to do and feeling frustrated that I was feeling so down. I felt better after our talk and eventually we moved on for the evening. We watched tv and I suggested we go to the Local Market to pick up supplies but Eric was tired and wanted to get into bed. We did that instead. Boring Friday night, but he had to be up early and I wanted to get some painting done in the morning.

Thursday 3/29, I went home and quickly changed, grabbed something to eat and was off to get my hair cut. I was there a little early. It’s been like six months since my last cut so it was much needed. We decided on a sort of short bob. By the end he thought it was the best cut he’d given me yet. That’s what he said last time. We chatted it up and he encouraged me to see a therapist to get an early-thirties checkup. It’s already been suggested to me by several other people. We’ll see how long it takes me to get there. It was an enjoyable evening and I need to not wait so long next time. I took off and made it home right after 8. I ate some more dinner and had some dessert. I’ve decided to cut down on sugar in order to see if my face settles down. Went to bed not too late.

Wednesday 3/28, I dropped P off at the airport and attended an extremely boring conference about HSAs, HRAs and wellness plans. Oy. It took a while to get home from downtown. Eric and I made plans to have dinner with S&C and Stef on Saturday night. There was a “surprise” Eric wouldn’t tell me about. I don’t remember what else we did. I think I got the invite for Sos’ baby shower and contemplated going. I don’t think there was much on tv, maybe updated this thing.

Tuesday 3/27, I got new loan paperwork and spent the evening filling it out. Lucia also has another family interested, guys down in Auburn, but there might be a speed bump. We’ll see; I sent Genie my concerns. I had a lot on my mind so I was all inside my head at home. I fed the dogs and started cleaning the kitchen. Eric came back from his run and was feeling spicy about Lucia’s app and jumping down my throat about it, though he claims he wasn’t being argumentative. He later apologized, even though I guess we were just having a conversation. Clancy humped his blanket during our “talk”. We sat in the bedroom with Lucia and played and cuddled her then had dinner: TTC. Eric left for the store to get dessert and came back with blueberry coffee cake. I ate a piece and it was delicious. I filled out the loan paperwork and had to pull my file to fill in some of the info and compared cost and information. I sent a few emails requesting clarifications. Doug ordered the windows. Buffy’s owners cancelled, which I was ok with.

Monday 3/26, After work I stopped at AT&T since my phone wasn’t working again. They replaced the sim card and it was working so I went home. Hopefully it will continue to work. I stopped at the store on the way home and picked up some things, not knowing Eric had already done the same. At home I fed the dogs and heated up the TTC that Eric had made for me. I sat on the couch and vegetated and eventually put on Tourist and watched that until Eric got home. We chatted and I went to bed not much later. He stayed up and came to bed after I was asleep.

Sunday 3/25, My phone wasn’t working all day and didn’t work until about 9pm. Eric was up at 6 and out the door before 8 to head over to Mercer Island for the half marathon. I got up after 8 and got ready to tackle another day. I was determined to start painting the living room. I started with the piano wall and got it done pretty quickly and soon moved onto the tv wall, and made my way slowly but steadily all the way across to the fireplace. That room is almost 20’ long. I was mostly done by the time Eric called and said he was on his way home. He filled me in when he got home and said he’d run into Brandon. He was hungry so we went up to the French Bakery and got lunch. We both had turkey, havarti and cranberry paninis. I got a Palmier for dessert and Eric got a spinach and feta croissant. We drove home and I kept going on the painting while Eric took a nap. I finished and it looked great, but a little darker than I would have liked, only because that room does not get a bunch of light. I love the color though. I cleaned up and went and took a nap myself. Eric fed the dogs which woke me up and I finished putting the artwork back on the walls. I showered and we took off for Mom’s not much later. Eric and I were the first there and we just chatted until Dro*hv and Ak*mi showed up. Sky and Jake came and had just been schvitzing. Kass, Kate and Alix came much later because they were out shopping for interviewing clothes at BR. We dug in to the goat cheese terrine, the cheeses Kassie brought and the pate D&A brought (I passed on that one). Finally we had dinner and it was very good: veggie curry with the option to add lemongrass shrimp. We had good conversation and soon it was time for dessert: cheesecake and lazy man cookies. We spent a good part of dinner voting for Kate’s Clinton Initiative online  (she ended in second place). We made the girls do a fashion show and they both looked good and got some good things. We headed home around 9 and I was tired and ready for bed.

Saturday 3/24, I was up by 8 and fed the dogs and all that, then had my own breakfast. I got going and got quite a bit done before the chimney guy arrived. It took him an hour and a half or so to do both chimneys and said they both need some repairs and caps, which I already knew. Quoted $900; ouch. Need to get a couple other quotes I guess. I started working on the pool room and cleaning that mess up. I made quite a bit of headway and texted Eric at work if he wanted me to pick up the pressure washer. I went over to Mom’s and chatted for an hour or so and grabbed it then down to the store. I picked up a six pack of root beer and took it over to Eric. He was still mad at me, I could tell, but I told him to settle down and just relax and drink his rootbeer. I went home and kept moving and eventually went into the backyard to hang with the dogs and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. Eric came out while I was brushing Nyx and started moving. The pressure washer was missing a piece, great, so that was useless. Kass and Sky were on their way, but Eric was determined to start getting the roof closed. We set up the rickety ladder and got to it with the ratchet straps, and by god, he got one side of the roof closed. I couldn’t believe it. After all that. We had tried from the top of the roof, tried to manually crank it, tried to push it from the inside with a giant pole. This worked. The other panel would be harder since we couldn’t get a ladder to reach up there because the pool was directly underneath. He climbed back up onto the roof, shimmied over, dropped the ratchet down under the panel, hooked the other end to the top, under the plastic and ratchted that side closed too. He hammered then screwed the panels closed at the top. Sky and Kassie literally showed up just as he was climbing down. I had cleaned up the majority of the room and they bought a pressure washer and left it for us. We chatted in the pool room for a long time about our long term plans, then outside to see the boulders and foundation of the pool then back inside where we hung in the living room and looked at pictures of Kass’ space. Sky pet Lucia a bunch and she did really well. I couldn’t believe it and was holding my breath the whole time. They took off to have dinner with Alix and Eric and I decided to go get a pizza for dinner. We got the deluxe veggie, our favorite! We ate a couple pieces then I got into bed and watched Ides of March. We went to bed early since we were both exhausted and Eric had to get up early to do the MI half-marathon.

Friday 3/23, I got a call from Stan on my refi and got a bug up my ass about getting the pool room cleaned up. I was all excited when Eric came home but he was just like, “Oh, great, here we go again”. We headed up to Ace so I could get painting supplies since I had the idea to start painting the living room as well and also got some other house-y stuff. Next we went over to Ivar’s to have dinner and Eric treated and I got fish and chips, yum! Next we went down to Mud Bay to get some treats for the dogs for the next day when the chimney guy was going to come to clean the chimneys. We went home after that and relaxed for the evening. I called Mom to ask if she had a pressure washer and she did so I planned to borrow it. Kass and Sky offered to come over the next day and bring ladders and man power to help get the roof closed. I told Sky I might take him up on it. I told Eric about our willing helpers and it put him in a bad mood (ugghhhh!) and he got all snippy. Went to bed kind of early since Eric was in a bad mood and had to be up super early for work.

Thursday 3/22, I was sharking ikea cd towers online and found one in Redmond to get that evening. I told Eric what I was doing, since he was at work, and he warned me to be careful. I went to the bank, then the store to break a $20 and over to the guy’s house. He met me in the driveway and handed it over in the garage; there was a rabbit in the garage and I felt sorry for it because it probably never sees the light of day or gets any human contact and rabbits are very social. Sad. I headed home, stopping at Chipotle on the way for dinner, and when I got home let all the dogs out and did all that. I ate dinner in front of the tv and watched some tv, though most of my shows weren’t on. I got the tower out of my car and into the closet. Eric came home and I filled him in. Neck was still sore; went to bed earlyish.

Wednesday 3/21, Slept on my neck wrong and it was painful all day. And after all that f-ing relaxing! I went to the store and picked up bacon and hashbrowns per Eric’s request, which made me excited for where dinner was going that evening. When I got home I showered and did my neck exercises under the hot water. It felt better after that. Eric made dinner and I ate in bed. I updated this and confirmed the window order to Doug and watched reruns.

Tuesday 3/20, Tax refund finally deposited into my account. Kristel asked if I wanted to go to Mandy and Luke’s celebratory wedding event at Alibi Room before going to Banya 5. I rushed home, changed and headed out the door since traffic looked like it was going to be a nightmare. It took me 40 minutes to get to Kristel’s. She finished getting ready and she told me about her snowmobiling adventure with Troy. We headed downtown and made it to AR. We were there for an hour or so and I had a caprese salad and Kristel had hummus that I ate most of. Plenty of garlic to sweat out at Banya! We chatted and checked out the cute redhead bartender and fantasized that if he was our bf if he would give us free pizza. We talked about which would be worse: Going to a naked spa with your mother-in-law or letting your m-i-l watch you give birth, and you had to pick one. I say naked, but a few of the girls said birth since there’s already a bunch of people down there anyway looking at your “dark pink parts”. That visual image came from a graphic designer, btw. We took off about 8ish and went down to Banya. We filled out our paperwork, got our locker key and headed into the locker room. We got into our suits, showered off and headed out. It was a little intimidating at first. We headed into the steam room, then hot tub, then tepid pool. We did the rounds a few times and made a few friends but everyone kept asking us if it was our first time. I guess all the gawking and looking around made it obvious. We ended with a tour of the relaxation room and saw that Brian Utting is the director or whatever, so I need to put in a call to Kass to see if we can get a family discount. We showered off, dressed and headed out. I felt incredibly relaxed and so warm. We talked about our experience and aspects of the evening. She dropped me at my car and I got home a little after 10. I told Eric about our evening and got ready for bed. I moisturized and into bed.

Monday 3/19, When I got home I took Lucia for a run and when I got home Eric fed the dogs. Eric made me some enchiladas for dinner and I showered. We went into Issaquah to go to REI so Eric could load up on his Gu since he got his dividend. On the way home we stopped at DQ to celebrate the last day of winter. I had a mint oreo, but should have gone with regular oreo. Eric had ice water. We people watched and it was good as ever. We went home and I put the artwork back up in the back hallway. Instead of watching a movie I watched House Hunters online before going to bed.

Sunday 3/18, Eric went to work early-ish and I was determined to not spend all day in bed. Except I watched Drive in bed before getting my motivation going. I touched up the paint in the back hallway and took care of that project. I picked up dog shit in the backyard, brushed the dogs and did some other general cleaning around the house. I watched a few episodes of House Hunters online until Eric got home. We went to the store to pick up some groceries for dinner. Eric made breakfast burritos / enchiladas which were delicious. We watched AFV and got into bed early.

Saturday 3/17, Eric was up early and out by 9 to run some errands. I got up and dressed and moving in anticipation of Eric getting home and spending the day cleaning. I was hungry and he still wasn’t home so I got ready to go to the store for milk when he called. He had been at Mom’s chatting it up (for two hours!) and also reported back about Alix and Kate. I went to the store, at a medium irritation level, and got milk and some other things then home for breakfast. Eric arrived a while later with a bag full of pastries from the French bakery. Yum! That made me eat my words. I was washing windows and mirrors when he got home and they were nasty. I had some laundry going too. Eric moved the furniture around in the living room and mopped the hardwood floors. I showered and Eric went to the store to pick up provisions for our dinner with Alix and Kate. They arrived right at 4 and we chatted about Kate and her dad who’s the Dutch ambassador to Jordan and how she’s an EMT and been to Africa three times and worked in a clinic there. And she’s 21. Crazy. This girl has more stories and has been more places than even Jessica. We ate an early dinner and they eventually took off a little after 6. Eric told me Sky was coming over to watch the Sounders game so I holed up in the bedroom and watched Project Runway and some other shows online, then Cinderella. The boys were up for a while and I was falling asleep by the time Eric came to bed.

Friday 3/16, I talked to Mom about my weekend plans on the way home. I took the dogs for a walk so that was good. I don’t remember but I think I may have watched a movie. I don’t remember.

Thursday 3/15, Long day at work, not stressful, just loooong. At home I knew I should run Lucia and start my exercise regime, but really didn’t want to. The weather all day had been nuts; rain, hail, wind, thunder and lightening. When I got home it was not raining and no wind. Eric had just gotten back from his run and doing his exercises. I put on my running stuff, suited Lucia up, kissed Eric goodbye (he was leaving for Schuyler’s) and took off. We just ran around the neighborhood, running up and down the streets and up past the elementary school. She did really good actually. Not much stopping to sniff, mostly she would pull and want to keep going when I needed to walk for a minute. Back at home I fed her, moved the dogs around and took a shower. I made dinner and ate in the living room with Lucia while watching my shows. Into the bedroom at 8 to watch Modern Family online and some House Hunters Int’l then Office. I updated this and Eric came home. Got another app for Lucia; that makes four this week. Alix called at 11:30 to say she couldn’t get a hold of Mom and asking if I could pick her up. She woke me out of my slumber and I thought it was morning. Eric was still up so he said he would go, got there and Mom had been there the whole time but the phone lines were all jacked up. Eric came home and to bed; it took me a while to fall back asleep.

Wednesday 3/14, Kristel sent me a link for Banya 5 and we agreed to go the following week and also made plans for her to come over that evening. I got home a little early and Eric was just leaving with Clancy and Lucia so I ran out and told him to wait while I geared Nyx up. We went around the block and Lucia did some good sniffing and even came nose to nose with Nyx and didn’t react. Very exciting. When we got home Eric got ready and took off for his 8 mile run. I fed the dogs and did stuff on my computer. She didn’t show up until after 8. I finally made my dinner and was eating when she arrived. The three of us sat in the kitchen and talked for a long time. Finally we moved into the living room and talked about Kassie’s business then the girl talk started and Eric excused himself. She aired some concerns but we also talked about solutions and stuff. She left around 11. Eric was already asleep. I put Lucia to bed then crawled in and went to sleep.

Tuesday 3/13, Eric told me I was on my own for dinner again. I took a super long shower and got all cleaned up because Eric wanted to romp around. An hour and a half later we settled into bed and I crashed.

Monday 3/12, Stopped by the store on the way home and Eric was making dinner for the dogs when I got home. I talked to Kass about MN and later talked to Mom and Dad about the plans and going to the fair. I made a ramshackle dinner and watched Bachelor after taking a shower. Updated this a little and hung with the dogs.

Sunday 3/11, I slept in until 9:30 because of the time change. Eric left shortly after for his run (15 miler) and I got up and had breakfast. I got ready and started clearing out the den and kitchen to mop the floors. I cleaned out the bucket, got dog bedding going in the wash and moved all moveable furniture out. Lots of vacuuming and mopping several times before Eric called to say he was ready to be picked up at FM. We went home and he showered and changed before sitting down for a few minutes. I ate some lunch but he didn’t eat anything because he wasn’t hungry. After he left for work I finished moving all the furniture back in and finished the dog bedding. I showered and got ready then relaxed and did some stuff online. I left to go to Lincoln Square where I went through the furniture shops before going up to see my movie (Wanderlust). I got some popcorn but finished it before the movie even started. Movie was funny and I enjoyed seeing it by myself. I took off for home and fed the dogs and started watching SNL before Eric got home with a pizza for dinner. We sat in the living room and had dinner and watched tv. We got into bed early and I flipped through my Luxe before going to sleep.

Saturday 3/10, Eric had to be at work super early. I got up and fed the dogs and all that then got back into bed. I watched the Hangover extras then the Midnight in Paris special feature-ettes. I got going doing a bunch of research on Huguette Clark and ended up staying in bed until 1:30. Yikes. Several times I told myself only one more article but then I just kept on reading. After getting out of bed I had lunch and cleaned up the mess in the kitchen. I did a few other things before Eric got home after 3. He saw an estate sale in the neighborhood so we put on our coats and walked over. It was mostly junk and the house smelled but it was good to see the inside of another house in the neighborhood, especially one that I kind of like the exterior. We didn’t get anything and saw Cherry on the way out who asked if we wanted any plants because she’s taking out the giant cedar in the front yard. Back at home we were feeling restless so we hopped in the car and started exploring some neighborhoods, starting with the south Bellevue waterfront, then a neighborhood up by Coal Creek then over to Enatai and over to MI to show Eric the old house, high school, an old neighborhood I liked as a kid and the southend. We went home and Eric whipped up the steaks from the night before and some roasted potatoes. We were upset Cops wasn’t on, again, and ended up watching something else. Eric wasn’t feeling great and went to bed early. I couldn’t even stay up to watch the beginning of SNL.

Friday 3/9, Eric was making dinner (steak) and he had ideas for blizzards. We stayed home instead and I had jello pie thing. After chatting with Kyle (ClearScript) I had a hankering to watch Hangover. I barricaded myself in the bedroom and watched it in bed. We went to bed not long after it was over.

Thursday 3/8, Eric was supposed to be at school when I got home but he was home and said he would help me walk the dogs. We went around the block and after we got home he left to hang out with Schuyler. I had dinner and watched my shows. He was home after 10 probably.

Wednesday 3/7, I wanted to work with Lucia on her leash skills so we started off and I was trying different techniques with her but it ended up taking us almost an hour to get through the neighborhood. I was hoping she would have caught on more quickly, but practice makes perfect. When I got home Eric was there (I think he was out on a run when I got home) and feeding the other dogs. I was exhausted. Kass and Dad both called but I didn’t call them back. We watched our shows and went to bed.

Tuesday 3/6, We had client meetings all day then I decided to be a team player and go to dinner afterward. We went to RN74 and had drinks first then had dinner which was excellent. I had the lamb shank cassoulet. It was delicious; then the beignets for dessert, yum! We left and went back to the RC to get our cars. I went home and filled Eric in. I showered and into bed and that was it.

Monday 3/5, I stayed late at work then home where I showered and warmed up. We talked and watched tv and Eric made me a salad then he cut up some strawberries and apples. I had some ice cream and we watched our shows. I went into the bedroom and watched Bachelor and updated this.

Sunday 3/4, Eric was up early again and I was up by 8. I had breakfast and got dressed. He asked me to take him to work so he could run home. I dropped him off then went to Costco where I picked up a few things, including Drive. At home I got going painting the rest of the hallway, though I screwed up and did some touch ups on the wall I’d done the day before and the shade was darker because I’d combined two cans of the same color / finish but it was slightly darker. Bahh! I cleaned up the kitchen, had lunch, watched a little of the Monkees then showered and got ready and headed out to Kirkland. I went to Hoffman’s and got a couple cookies then over to the theater and went in. I loved the movie (My Week with Marilyn) and wanted to go home to do some research. Eric came home briefly in the middle of his run (15 miles) to tell me he would be later than he thought. When he got home we talked about dinner so I took off for the store and picked up a roast chicken and salad stuff. Eric whipped it all up when I got home and we put on Drive. Ahhh. Yes. I watched the commentary afterward and finally got ready for bed around 10:45. Watched a little tv then to sleep. Eric was still out in the den when I went to sleep.

Saturday 3/3, Eric was up early to go to work and I managed to fall in and out of sleep until 8:30. I got up, let the dogs out, fed them, got dressed and took off for the grocery store. I picked up stuff, went home and had some breakfast. I started chores and bustled between laundry, cleaning the kitchen, cleaning the bathroom and getting the back hallway ready to paint. I put on music and got going. It didn’t take me too long, but damn that texture is deep. I was done by 1 and sat down to have some lunch (big salad). I relaxed then did some more laundry. I sat down on the couch and turned on Happy Endings and Eric came home in the middle. He went on a run and when he got back I asked if he wanted to take a walk with the dogs. We walked around the neighborhood and talked then back home. Lucia, Clancy and Nyx did great. Eric showered and we took off for the bank and store. We picked up stuff to make dinner. Eric made ground chicken patties with squash and zucchini and mashed potatoes. Yum! We wanted to watch Cops but it wasn’t on so we watched part of LotR because it was on tv then 48 Hours about some gambler who killed his parents. Eric couldn’t make it to the end and went to bed. I finished the show then into bed to watch the news and SNL. I made it about half way through then went to sleep.

Friday 3/2, Eric emailed asking if I wanted to hang with Sky and Chrystol, have dinner and watch a movie. When I got home Eric was off for his run and I took care of the dogs and decompressed. I did some vacuuming and other tidying, which then Eric took over because he was more calm. He also went and got stuff for a fire. We took off for the drug store then Super Supplements to get some stuff. We stopped at home and Eric grabbed some coupons and we went to pick up some pizzas. Back at home I hopped in the shower and Eric got the pizzas going. C&S showed up and I threw some clothes on. Went in the kitchen and we dished up pizza and salad then into the living room to watch Overboard. We all laughed through that then watched tv after. We had cookies and rice krispy treats and talked. They took off a little after 11. I climbed into bed and Eric was not far behind because he had to work at 7 the next day.

Thursday 3/1, Watched all my shows like usual. Boy, I guess that’s it. Same old weekday evening I’m sure.

Wednesday 2/29, I showered when I got home and got ready and had some dinner then we took off for the Bellevue City Hall to see B. Grace speak. I talked with him before he started and introduced Eric. It was a good presentation and afterward we split into discussion groups and that was entertaining too. We left around 9:30 for home and talked about the evening. Eric was really excited and was glad we went. I crawled into bed and went to sleep, but Eric was too amped up to go to bed.

Tuesday 2/28, I got home a little early and Eric still wasn’t feeling well. I did some bills and showered then had some dinner and updated this while watching WoF and Jeopardy. Eric made rice krispy treats and I had too many of those. I watched Midnight in Paris while continuing to update this since I was so behind.

Monday 2/27, Eric still wasn’t feeling good when I got home but we went outside anyway and worked with Lucia a little bit and Clancy with walking toward each other. Inside I put my laundry away and Eric brought dinner in while I worked on an email to my brokers on the improvements made to the property. It took a long time to construct but finally finished and sent it off. I showered and got into bed to watch Bachelor. K’s prediction is still right and frankly I think they deserve each other. Went to bed.

Sunday 2/26, We were up early because Poppy was coming over for a half-day visit. They arrived after 7:30 and Eric thought he was a funny little dog. We divided our time with the dogs and I mostly hung in the bedroom. I talked to Susan for a long time and it was snowing and probably two inches accumulated (it’s Tuesday and there’s still snow on the ground). I had some lunch and we took off separately; me with Poppy to drop him off at his house and Eric with Lucia to the MI ATB adoption event. Poppy lives on the same street that Angela used to live on when we were friends. I went down and Lucia had already had an incident with Skip. Great. There were tons of adopters there and the dogs that everyone thought they wanted ended up choosing different dogs to apply for. Lucia was her irritable self and did a lot of growling and even bit my thumb at one point when there were other dogs at my feet running around and Genie was close and there was just too much commotion for her to focus on what I was doing. She’s never bit me, ever, and I lost it. I went out and sat in my car for a while and tried to compose myself. I went back in and stayed for a little longer then took off to meet Kass down at Pac Galleries and Eric took off as well because Lucia was at the end of her rope and impressing no one. When I got down there Kass wasn’t there because she had run home to get more money. This was the first general auction we attended. She won the one display case she wanted and paid a fortune for it. The general auctions start earlier (11) and the seating and presentation is so different from the fine auctions. I saw Amit and we talked for a while until I saw Kassie had arrived. We saw Jeff from the Duvall auction and he told Kass he had another large photograph and Kass paid him right there for it. She won the Spanish “X” chair, but that was it for the rest of the auction. We went and paid then waited for the cute helper boy to help us. He had been showing us his muscles earlier in the day. Matt and Sky showed up but Sky needed to fax something so we walked around the mall a little then took off for Rejuvenation, but since it was almost 5 they were closing up shop. I dropped Kass and Matty downtown where Sky was and headed home. Eric was home and gave me an update on the pack. We went to the store and picked up supplies to make a mexican-style salad for dinner. We relaxed for the night and I ate up the salad; it was delicious. We went to bed semi-early since we’d been up early and tired from the day’s events.

Saturday 2/25, I got up and took care of the dogs since Eric was off to work early. A little after noon I called Kristel to see if she still wanted to hang and do lunch. She said yes and we decided to hit up the tots at Six Arms. I got to her place at 1 and we talked and started filling each other in on the latest developments then headed up the street. I had the mozzarella and tomato toasted sandwich and a little salad and of course we shared the basket of Cajun tots. We went back up to her place after lunch and continued our dialog. She dropped me at my car and I took off for Kassie’s. She was walking the dogs and we left for Pac Galleries after she got back. We wandered through the preview and inspected many items. We circled the items she wanted and looked at everything until it was time to close up shop. We met a word worker guy who was curious what we were up to (Amit). We walked through the mall then off to her new space in White Center. It is huge and I think will be good for what she wants to do. She was hungry so we went to Zippy’s and waited for our food (well, only chocolate milkshake for me). We did some people watching and we chatted. We took off for her place and looked at her new maps until Sky got home. She told me Eli was coming home early to break up with Joslin, which was too bad. I took off not long after Sky got home so I could feed the dogs. I had an apple when I got home and watched Cops. Got an app for Lucia that looked decent but I knew it probably wouldn’t work out with the cats. I told Eric when he got home and we got into a discussion about Lucia and rededicating ourselves to working with her. We watched some tv and a bit of SNL before going to sleep.

Friday 2/24, Mary had called asking if we could watch Poppy on Sunday. I talked to Eric and Kass and we figured it out and when I suggested my plan she was pleased. Eric had made reservations for Coterie Room for dinner and wanted to see a movie afterward. I showered and got ready to go. I was exhausted but looking forward to dinner. We arrived at the restaurant right on time and started with three salads. We shared the pork shoulder for dinner then had two desserts: apple pastry with ice cream and chocolate thing. Everything was excellent and we were stuffed. I started to get cramps. We paid and back to the car and off to Lincoln Square for the Artist. It was very good and Eric loved it. Back home and it was late and to bed.

Thursday 2/23, I woke up early in the morning thinking it was Friday. Bummer. I got news on my refi about the pool, so left a long voicemail with my broker. Kass called to say she was on her way back from PDX and that Etta had gotten out of the yard. I took off from work, picked up Eric and went over there. As I was heading up Admiral she called to say Jason had come back and found Etta by the back gate. He let her in the backyard but she hid under the deck and wouldn’t come out. I sent Eric out and he managed to coax her out and I took Ida out in the from yard so he could get her upstairs to Kassie’s room. Kass was almost home and offered to take us to dinner but Eric wanted to get home so we took off. We stopped on MI so he could get his paycheck and get gas to put in his car since he’d run out earlier that day by BC. I dropped him at his car and went home; he went to the store and got a pizza from Papa Murphy’s. I fed the dogs and Eric got dinner going when he got home. We watched our Thursday night shows and to bed.

Wednesday 2/22, It was a really nice day with plenty of sunshine. I screwed my neck up and it hurts to turn it. Eric was on a run when I got home so I fed the dogs and went through some old school papers. After he got home and showered we went down to FM to get some groceries then to Goodwill to drop off some stuff and finally Super Supplements so I could stock up. Back at home Eric started dinner and I went through emails and played with Lucia until it was time to eat. It was after 8. We watched tv and our Wed night favorite, Modern Family. When it was over I showered and got into bed and took a vicodin to try and loosen my neck up and also knew it would knock me out.

Tuesday 2/21, Eric made burgers for dinner and mine was messy. We watched our shows then I went in the bedroom to watch the prior night's Bachelor. So far Kristel's prediction for who is going to win is holding up. Only a couple more episodes before we find out if her sources were correct. After it was over Eric got in bed and we talked a little before lights out.

Tuesday, May 01, 2012

Monday 2/20, Eric was up early and off to work, but had a nail in his tire so he asked to use my car. I fed the dogs and got myself cereal before getting back in bed and vegetating. I watched Sweet Home Alabama and updated this. I think I finally got out of bed by 11:30, showered and set out for the store on foot. It was drizzling, but not too bad. I picked up stuff to make a salad and some other necessities. When I headed home it was raining a bit harder and I was cold and wet by the time I got home. Luckily we're pretty close. I made myself lunch and hung with the dogs. I went through some UPS papers. Eric made a fire to burn up some of the wood in the pool room then had the idea to go to Target. He exchanged some things and I bought too much Valentine's Day candy from the discount section. We went up to the bread outlet and picked up hamburger buns and a bunch of bread then home. It wasn't until I was sitting on the couch relaxing that I remembered I was supposed to have dinner at Mom's and called to confirm. I called Kass next to see if she was coming and she was. I hit the road not much later. Ayal was there and Sky too, sitting on the couch talking. We talked about jewelry and the pendant Mom's making for each of us using the diamonds from Grandma's bracelet. We had dinner (chicken in mushroom sauce with basmati rice and simple salad) and talked about exes of Ayal's and the pendent design. After dinner Kassie and I went online to check out this week's auctions and estate sales. We took off by 8:30 or so. When I got home I got into bed right away and Eric hung on the couch.

Sunday 2/19, Totally forgot to do this day. I know that Eric and I went through my old UPS newspapers because he loved reading about all the crime that happened on campus. We hung out that evening and watched tv; other than that, I don’t know what I did earlier in the day.

Saturday 2/18, I was up by 6:45 in preparation for Poppy Jack, the puppy, to come over for the day. They arrived at 7:30 and he was a little fluff ball. I took him outside with Clancy to get his nervous potty out. We sat down on the couch and watched Grease, which I haven’t seen in a while. I still know all the words and songs but just realized how good looking John Travolta was. I had some lunch and let Clancy and Poppy play together for a while. I put on Shanghai Knights and we watched that together too on the couch. I tried to get a few things done but Poppy didn’t like when I left him alone and would cry. Mary called to let me know they were coming back early and arrived by 3. Eric was home a little after 4 and we decided to go down to ATB to pick up some antlers. We went to Bartell’s next so I could get some contact solution and ended up picking up some other stuff I didn’t need including a ton of marked down valentine’s day candy. We went up to Crossroads and got a post card to mail to Sidney. We went home and Eric made a simple dinner. I wasn’t all that hungry because I’d eaten a ton of Fritos and candy in the car. We decided to watch There Will Be Blood but Eric fell asleep toward the end. I stayed up and finished it then climbed into bed. Eric was still awake and we watched SNL for a little bit until we both crashed.

Friday 2/17, My day went pretty well until I got home and Lucia peed on the carpet again; it’s the 6th accident in two weeks. In the 6 months we’ve had her she’s never once had one and now all of a sudden. Might be the rain. I emailed Janell and she told me to stick it out, in nicer terms than that, so I just need to keep her on a schedule and make her go out even if she doesn’t seem to want to. Eric heated up some leftovers for me and we watched tv on the couch. The night got better even though I had riled myself up. We watched tv for a bit but otherwise it was an early night since we both had to be up early the next morning.

Thursday 2/16, I had to stay late at work to sort out a plumbing issue since P was on a plane to Paris. I got home late and Eric wasn’t there so I called him and he said he had a surprise. I hopped in the shower and when I got out Eric had come home and had gone to PF Changs and picked up a ton of food. I was hungry so I loaded up and we sat in front of the tv and ate. We watched our shows and into bed. I showed him a good time.

Wednesday 2/15, Eric heated up leftovers and that French toast was just as good the next day. We watched our shows, per usual.

Tuesday 2/14, Eric was making dinner when I got home: sausage and red pepper scramble, roasted potatoes and strawberry stuffed French toast with homemade whipped cream. I showered then dinner was ready. We sat in the living room and that damn French toast was so good I had too much and made myself feel sick. Got into bed and crashed out.

Monday 2/13, When I got home I showered and got ready for Eric’s birthday dinner. I gave Eric his birthday presents, which he liked. Sky and Chrystol showed up and Eric opened his present from them. We took off for the Pumphouse. Dinner was good (I had a mushroom swiss burger) and our conversation was good. We went over to Whole Foods for dessert and picked up a few things then home. We went home and sat in the living room and talked until 10 then they left. I got ready for bed and Eric wasn’t tired so he stayed up.

Sunday 2/12, I think I wrapped presents for Eric’s birthday and did some cleaning. There was an auction at Pac Galleries so I went down but Kass was running late so I got there, got her number and prepared to bid on her behalf for her items. She didn’t win any of them because they were all too high. Kinickie came (Alex) down as well but didn’t stay for the whole thing. After the zebra bags went we packed up and headed out. She got a few things she wanted including a few things in the silent auction. I went home and hung out for a little bit until it was time to go to Mom’s for Eric’s bday dinner. We had gyros, kind of. It was very good and had cheesecake for dessert. Eric opened his presents and seemed to like them all and Kass got him a gift certificate for Coterie Room. We went home and Eric tried on his stuff and liked it. Not sure if we watched anything before going to bed.

Saturday 2/11, I got up and started on some chores and at 11 Doug L*nkhaar arrived and we went around and went over what we wanted then he measured, told us what options we had and was out by noon. Eric took off to go hang out with Schuyler. I kept going on chores and cleaning up. Followed up with Jane again and called Elly who said she would mail off the form on Monday. I think we took it easy that evening, maybe watched a movie or Dateline?

Friday 2/10, No clue. Don’t remember. I probably got the Friday night blues after dinner and relaxing.

Thursday 2/9, The appraiser called and said he was available that morning to appraise the house so I called Eric and he said it was fine to have him come over. Eric called an hour later to let me know it had gone well and he was off to school. Took it easy that evening and we watched our shows. Probably went to bed early.

Wednesday 2/8, I stayed a little late at work then to the store for supplies then home. Eric had moved the dvds into the hall closet and the cds into the laundry room utility room. It looks better. I moved one of the small bookshelves to the wall with the bookcases and put it between them. It looked better. I knew I had to get an appraisal and started planning what needed to be done over the weekend. Eric made dinner and I sent an email to my loan officer. Rate is going down but no closing costs. I did a couple of little things after dinner then we watched our shows. I got ready for bed after Modern Family and fell asleep watching tv.

Tuesday 2/7, I saw Eric finishing up his run when I pulled into the neighborhood (8 miles) and picked him up. We took Clancy and Lucia on a walk then I took Nyx by herself on a walk. When I got home I called Jane to check in on Coco and her spay paperwork. We chatted for a little while. Eric had dinner ready for me when I was off. I continued on my cleaning quest of the hall closet then started on the hutch. Eric jumped in to help and we got quite a bit thrown away, recycled, organized or in the give away pile. I was exhausted so I got ready for bed and went through some old RS mags. I fell asleep by 9:15 then woke up at 10 when Eric came in to put the dogs away.

Monday 2/6, At home I cleaned up after the dogs in the backyard then yoga. Eric had dinner ready, enchiladas! I showered then watched Bachelor. Kristel told me a secret of who wins, but I'm not going to tell. We'll see if her sources are accurate. I went to bed by 11.

Sunday 2/5, We were both up early and got ready. Eric took off for his run and I told him I'd meet him in Issaquah (9-miler). I left not much later and got gas then to Office Depot for some storage bins for old school work and historic financial files. Next I went to the bank then over to Target. I picked up some things for Eric's birthday then he called to say he was outside. We drove home and got to work on our tasks. Eric needed to get the light fixed in the laundry room utility room, but he ended up not figuring it out. I wanted to get the room cleared out and organized. I pretty much worked in those two rooms for the rest of the day. I got some old artwork up on the walls and some old music posters, which I think makes it really cute. I cleaned out the cupboards in the laundry room and consolidated things and organized. We made a big give away pile and took a trip to goodwill to drop it all off. We went to Top Foods (now Haagen) to get supplies for lunch. I wanted nachos so we got a ton of stuff for that and other snacks. When we got home Eric got going on that while I worked in the laundry room and into the hall closet. We played with ideas for rearranging some things in the den. We sat down to eat lunch (about 3pm) and watch football; it was already the 2nd quarter (superbowl). I finished what I wanted and went back to working and going through magazines. I talked to Mom and Dad later in the day to discuss dates for the family reunion (7/21) and the dates for the NR annual reunion this summer (7/28). I told Dad I was going to refi and some of the other financial stuff going on. I think I went to bed early. I was tired.

Saturday 2/4, We were up fairly early and got to work right away. We cleaned up the wood in the pool room and I cleaned up the chairs that we found in the shed as well as the tables. The tables need to be painted but the chairs look good and are now in the dining room. Eric got the screens all taken care of and junk hauled out. I was tired and laid down for a minute and fell asleep. Eric took Lucia and Clancy to the blueberry farm for a walk. I got up and got going again and he came home. I had an idea to do the patio the next day because it was supposed to be nice and he was not into it. We got into a little bit of an argument and I started crying and just wanted him to go away partly because I didn't want to talk about it but also because I didn't know why I was crying. What we were talking about wasn't that bad, I think I was just a little emotional. He insisted I get up and we go on a walk. I looked awful; face red, eyes puffy. Ish. He got my sunglasses for me and we set out. It was gorgeous outside. We walked down to our favorite street and looked at the houses. The one at the end is my favorite (mid-century on a huge acres-sized lot) and I was determined to get to the bottom of the mystery of why it's been gated up and abandoned so long. It felt good to be outside. We walked home and I got down to finding out the details of that house and found some cool pictures and the permit and that it's been parceled up. It's a huge plot. Eric left to go to work not much later so I got back to work. I pulled out one of the storage containers of magazines to start going through. I made piles and started going through to see which ones I wanted to keep and which I wanted to sell. So far they're all in pristine condition. I got through quite a few but then knew I needed to get to the mall and get birthday shopping taken care of before Eric got home. I showered and took off, got him a cute sweater and then to My Local Market for dinner. I picked up a big salad and called it good. I decided to skip the bank. Kass called and told me about a bronze santa she got and that Alishia had had a dream about a santa that Grandma Rose had left her but Alishia didn't know anything about what Kass has been doing. It freaked her out a little. I went home and ate my salad and kept going through magazines and watched Cops. Eric came home and we watched a mystery show and the first part of SNL in bed.

Friday 2/3, I picked Clancy up on the way home from the vet and he was very excited to see me. We didn't have our work meeting, but I did get my raise and profit sharing contribution amount. That made my day better and was in the same vain of everything else I'm trying to do at the moment money-wise. At home Eric made dinner and took off for Schuyler's not long after I got home. I planned what I wanted to do over the weekend. I went to the mall to do birthday shopping for him but came up empty. I decided to come back the next day with my banana credit card and coupon to at least get a discount on the stuff I was looking at. I went to the Rack and returned a scarf but came up empty in all other categories there too. I went home and relaxed for the rest of the evening. Eric got home after I went to bed.

Thursday 2/2, I wanted to refinance so I called Jenifer, but didn't hear back that night. I started going on craigslist to see if there was anyone needing a temporary room to try and make some fast easy cash. I did yoga and started planning all the things we need to get done before having an appraisal; assuming I refi. Eric wanted me to calm down and not get too worked up; fearing I would crash and burn by trying to do everything at once. I knew he was right but also wanted him to be on board. He suggested he get another job to help with the bills. I told him it was up to him. He made dinner and we watched our usual shows. Still planning all the things that need to be done. Pool room clean up, clean up chairs, paint mid-century outdoor tables, paint hallway, fix light in utility closet, clean out utility closet, clean out laundry room and hallway closets and old Rolling Stone and other music magazines (sell on ebay?), clean up the side of the house, etc. So many things to do! Feeling inspired and motivated.

Wednesday 2/1, I went home and did a few things before getting ready and heading out to Kristel's place to meet up for dinner. We went to Skillet and started the catching up. We started with the fact that she now has a bf. A hot one with crazy abs. They do wild stuff; I'm jealous. I caught her up with Kassie's endeavors and jobs and stress and other things. She made me start to think differently about what I'm doing and where I'm going so it spurred something inside. I have all sorts of ideas. For dinner I had the green salad, grilled cheese and poutine and we shared a sundae for dinner. Kept it simple since dinner was a blow out. We left there at like 10:30 and she dropped me at my car. At home Eric was already asleep, but I couldn't fall asleep. My mind was busy making plans. I checked fb with my phone under the covers so it wouldn't wake him up. Maybe after midnight I fell asleep?

Tuesday 1/31, I picked up my dry cleaning and stopped in the store for veggies then home. When I got home Eric had the idea to go to San Diego and do the Rock and Roll marathon in June instead of doing the Seattle. We called Mom and Dad to ask if it would be ok and they were very excited. They’re going to buy the Denali from salvage and leave it at the property and Dad’s going to get a new car. Eric sent all the pics and video from his phone to me so I could update Lucia’s profile and image event, but I couldn’t get the video rotated on a program that would then let me save and upload to the site. Sue K. still hadn’t heard back on Coco so I followed up and talked to Jane. I watched some BL, showered and into bed.

Monday 1/30, When I got home Eric was putting my new bathroom lights up and they look great! We did dog stuff and I watched Bachelor. I gave Eric a bj, which he appreciated.

Sunday 1/29, Eric was up first again, then I got up to let the dogs out. It was 7:45. I went back to sleep until after 9. I got up, dressed and up to Ace to pick up a brush. I got to work when I got home because I wanted to be done before going to the ATB event. I finished in about 30 minutes and hopped in the shower. I got ready and Eric got Lucia all set up and off we went. She did pretty good for the first part but she had definite moments of snapping at both people and dogs, unfortunately. She was pushed outside her comfort zone and she had some good moments of moving away and being ok with the interactions, but others, not so much. We stayed until 2ish then went home. I ate my leftovers then flipped through a magazine while Eric tried to get the new bathroom pendants installed. He ran into a few snags and decided to put it off until the next day. I took a nap until 6 then got up and got the dogs’ dinners ready. Put on Jerry Maguire and sent KW the new lease and updated this.

Saturday 1/28, Eric was up before me and had to coax me out of bed. We had a big day planned of getting house stuff done. I went up to Ace to get some tape to paint my bathroom and BB&B for a little container for the front closet for the dogs’ clothes and when I got home Eric was putting in the new hallway lights. I got busy taping but was distractable. I took a mini nap at some point and also got the paint rolled on the main parts of the walls. The brush we had sucked so I gave up for the rest of the day and let the parts I had done dry. At 5 a guy came to the house to buy the mid-century modern lamp that came with the house. He decided he wanted it, paid, wondered aloud how he was going to get it in his convertible, I took the shade off and he was out the door, all in about 90 seconds. It was little weird, but he didn’t haggle and paid what I was asking so I have no complaints. Eric went to the store and got stuff for dinner that night with S&C. I vacuumed and ran around doing stuff while Eric cooked. They arrived shortly after 7 and we ate dinner right away. Eric made garlic chicken breasts, roasted garlic broccoli and green beans, kale and mushrooms and the delicious quinoa salad. We all ate a ton and for dessert Eric made blueberries and strawberries marinated in orange balsamic and agave served with greek yogurt. Yum! We watched Blades of Glory and talked through some of it. They stayed until 11 and took off shortly after. Lucia still loves Sky and lets him pet her while he’s standing up, which is crazy. Fun night. We watched a little of SNL but it was a repeat then went to bed.

Friday 1/27, I got home and we wanted to do something and decided on Costco. I wanted a little quinoa before going, but Eric had eaten it all. That irritated me for the rest of the night. Or for an hour or so, at the least. We went and did our shopping then decided on Mexican for dinner. We had a nice dinner then home where I holed up in the bedroom with Passion Fish. It was a good movie but I was bummed she didn’t go at it with that bayou guy. I made it to about 10:30 then crashed.

Thursday 1/26, I came home and Eric was busy in the kitchen making dinner. He made my favorite quinoa salad and chicken and they were fantastic. I worked on my taxes and finally filed. We watched our Thursday shows and to bed.

Wednesday 1/25, I went straight to ATB in Redmond to meet up with Blair and Eric to cat-test Lucia. We were there for a while then headed home. I stopped at Fred Meyer on the way home, talked to Kass for a few minutes on the way, picked up some chicken, veggies and fruit. At home, I thought I was ready to file my taxes, but after reviewing some things was frustrated that it looked like I was doing one of the forms incorrectly. I thought I’d figured it out and went to bed and tried to calm down because Eric was irritated I was so out of my mind. I calmed down and decided to wait until the next day to file. Went to bed.

Tuesday 1/24, I stopped at the store on the way home and got a few things and when I got home I got started on my taxes again. Eric made a delicious dinner of seasoned mini turkey patties on lettuce, zucchini and onions and carrots on the side. Yum! I didn’t really watch tv. Made some progress on my taxes. I think I talked to KW about renewing their lease with an increase in rent. Felt relieved.

Monday 1/23, Off work and dropped off my dry cleaning before going home. Let the dogs out, fed them and got my stuff out to continue on my taxes. Watched tv, had leftover pho for dinner and made some headway with my taxes. Watched Bachelor. I think Nyx has something wrong with her ear and if it’s still bad on Wednesday then Eric’s going to take her in. He got home at 9:30 and we talked for a while before I went to bed and worked on this.

Sunday 1/22, Mom called, went to Alexander and ordered lights, looked at Albert Lee, home, laundry, cleaned up, listened to music, listed the lamp on craislist, wrote to Doug about the windows, called Kieran about renting for another year and cleaned up some of the kitchen. I laid down for a little bit and dozed for 20 minutes or so before forcing myself to get back up and back to work. Eric got home at 3:30, we fixed the nandina in the front yard then went to My Local Market to do our grocery shopping and picked up stuff for pho. Eric made dinner when we got home and it was good, though didn’t taste like traditional pho. I sat in the other room and looked at stuff online and responded to Karyn about watching Chauncey. I moved into the bedroom to update this and watched the second 2/3 of “If These Walls Could Talk 2”. It recently dawned on me that Chloe Sevingy and Michelle Williams were in it. I went to bed a little after 11.

Saturday 1/21, Eric was up and fed the dogs and took them out and brought me breakfast. I didn’t get out of bed until 10:30. I showered and got ready. We stayed busy throughout the day but eventually laid down and cuddled together and fell asleep for a little bit. Eric had to go to work at 3. I took Lucia for a walk and she enjoyed that. Watched Saturday night shows and relaxed in the bedroom.

Friday 1/20, Eric was up early and took the bus to work. I stayed home again and worked. I picked Eric up from work and finally the snow was starting to melt and the main roads were clear. The neighborhood streets were still bad. I went over to Kassie’s to see the stuff she got at the Ballard estate sale. We talked and hung for a while before leaving to go to Spring Hill to meet up with Jason, Matthew and Clay and Clay’s friend and his two kids, Moss and Maize. Moss was very shy but I warmed him up by talking to him about dogs. We were there for a long time and the food was very good. We got back to Kassie’s at 10:30 and Jason came over to see the stuff as well. I took off for home and Eric was still up and ready to rumble. He had candles lit and music on and a fancy outfit for me. It was cute. We went to bed shortly after.

Thursday 1/19, The ice and snow were bad when we got up so I knew I wouldn’t be going in to work. I got dressed and took Eric in and back home to start work. I got quite a bit done and watched more of LotR. Eric took the bus but it didn’t come to our house and instead went to downtown Bellevue so he called saying he was going to walk home. I told him that was ridiculous and went and picked him up down at Whole Foods. He picked up some stuff to make dinner and made some good chicken, blue cheese and bacon sandwiches for dinner. I watched the Thursday night shows and went to bed.

Wednesday 1/18, There was a lot of snow on the ground when we woke up and we both stayed home. I stayed in bed until 9ish then up and ate breakfast. Got dressed and started to get stuff out to do my taxes. I listened to music and worked on my credit card statements. Eric made me lunch (soup and a grilled cheese) and I put on LotR Two Towers since I haven’t seen it forever. Eric shoveled the driveway, walkways and sidewalks plus knocked the snow off the trees and shrubs. I fed the dogs and a little later Eric asked if I wanted to go walk around. We both got all our gear on and headed up toward 148th which was a ghost town (it was dark). Back at home I called Peggy and got back to my taxes and put on my show. Stopped it for Modern Family then took all the dogs out and got ready for bed. Watched Seinfeld, updated this and to bed.

Tuesday 1/17, I got home and Eric had picked up stuff to make soup, yum! It was potato, kale, gouda, broccoli and bacon soup PLUS freshly baked bread. His classes had been cancelled so he went to the new store and they gave him reusable bags, nice. I talked to Kass on the phone and got an update on her latest finds and upcoming shows. Eric made dinner and we watched WoF, I talked to Dad then Susan. I checked email and other things online then showered and Eric joined me and we got into bed. The snow hadn’t started yet. We had fun. Went to sleep by 11:30.

Monday 1/16, The snow was still on the ground, but not treacherous. I got off work and headed home. I knew we needed to go to the store so I suggested to Eric we go, though he wanted to go by himself. I disagreed and told him we were both going. We went to Schucks and got new wiper blades that Eric put on. We went to the store and picked up stuff to make a salad. A lot of the produce was pillaged but we still got enough to make our salad. When we got home Eric constructed the salad and it was delicious. I had two helpings. I went in the bedroom and watched Bachelor despite Eric’s groaning. We went to bed shortly after.
